This is the 2 nd time I am staying at Steinberger, excellent location and very professional and courteous staff.would definately stay there again.Great restaurant and excellent food and great service

Bookings had stated in their website " superior room with city view"(paid extra for this) They gave a back side room over looking construction debris,no city view at all. In fact no view , couldn't open the curtains. Had to change the room. Staff were nice enough to do this promptly without a fuss.

One of the staff (Farida) was too friendly and helpful, understood an issue we faced and was totally solved

There is no smoking area in the lobby

Prompt response of staff to sort out things when the need arises. Reception was welcoming. Reception area looks nice and pleasant. Premises very clean. Variety of food for breakfast was very good.

On 2 occasions we asked for the room to be cleaned again because it was not done properly. Dust and hairs were on the floor. Toilet brush holder and toilet paper holder are too close to the toilet seat. Narrow choices on the à la carte menu.

Experience: Ok let me be honest. This hotel should be the role model for all other 4 star hotels in the world. The experience you get here is equal to that of 5-stars. Right from the security to reception to housekeeping to dining - All are perfect. My special compliment to Farida, Marina and Mahmoud for providing exceptional guest service during my stay. My stay here was for 5 night, but, I extended to another 6 nights. Dining and Breakfast: The breakfast is super. Wide selection and very attentive staff. In other hotel, when the staff barely attend your table to offer a coffee or any other service, this hotel staff simply make sure you feel like home and pampered to max. Location Close to el tharir square, and just 200m from the bustling market where you name it and you find it. A heaven for someone who wants to shop, dine, walk and experience. Transportation: Easily available to and fro to hotel. Nile Corniche is just a 10-min waking distance. But you need some road crossing skills as the traffic might be dodgy. Parking: The hotel has parking space available underground. Didnt try but good for people who wish to drive and park their vehicle. Rooms: Rooms are small, but, clean. The houskeeping staff are really attentive and address to all your immediate needs. Good for couple who need best experience and value-for-money stay. Bar: I dont drink. But there are ample of space for guests to unwind and enjoy live music. Oh yes, i dont remember the singer voice, but, she is too good and her voice is no less than a celeb.

Just the wifi download speed, but, thats across all areas in Cairo. May be the telecom provider issue.

The staff were amazing. Always on hand to help . Complimentary bottled water, fruit juices and soft drinks was great especially in the hot weather. Yahya was our daily housekeep and did a brilliant job of making sure we always had what we needed. Farida from customer relations made sure to check in with us daily to answer any questions and make sure all was well. Dr Motaz who was the doctor.on call in the hotel did a brilliant job of seeing us when we were poorly and followed up with visits to make sure we were on the mend. Room service offered some amazing food during this time. The breakfast buffet spread was amazing. So many different options daily. The hotel staff go above and beyond to make sure you have a comfortable stay. We didn't have netflix or any other subscription channel available however found that the MiX channel showed some brilliant hollywood movies daily. I would also recommend taking advantage of the spa treatments that are available. We initially went for a room with a side nile view however due to sickness and not being able to open the windows on a high floor we moved to a poolside room with a terrace. I can say that we actually ended up preferring this option with the outside space. On the 2nd floor with the gym, spa and swimming pool area. Just be aware though that the outside traffic noise is alot more noticeable and does go on into the night. Overall, we had a fab stay and would definitely recommend to others.

Hotel little bit tired. Need renovation. Very small pool area and around 12 sun-beds for all hotel guests.
