Room was tidy and felt clean. View was pretty nice as well.

Not the hotels fault by any means but every uber gets confused by the address and the pin.

We stayed one night at Steigenberger Hotel El Tahrir Cairo and had a very pleasant experience. The hotel was well priced compared to other similar hotels in the same area, which made it great value for money. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the check-in process was smooth. The room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained and perfect for a short stay in Cairo. Overall, everything met our expectations. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend it for anyone looking for a reliable, well-located hotel in Cairo.

Great location, walking distance to Egyptian museum and easy access to the Metro. The hotel staff were just the best -genuinely helpful, kind, welcoming and thoughtful especially with my elderly mother. Great room, handy gym and nice outdoor pool. The restaurant was fabulous and there is a nice bar area in reception. Would strongly recommend

The location was excellent. Room size great. And we liked the hot water to make coffee and tea, and the free water.

We had issues getting on to the wifi as the name field kept populating with our email. Maybe our phones that did that but probably not unusual. Every time we clicked CONNECT, it added the email again. The room was great. It took a while for the temperature to go down but it was not a big deal as it was January.

The location was excellent, very close to Tahrir Square and major attractions. The staff were friendly, professional, and always willing to help. The room was clean and comfortable, and the breakfast had a good variety of options.

The room was a bit smaller than expected, and sometimes it could get a little noisy due to the busy area outside.

I had a truly pleasant stay at Steigenberger Hotel El Tahrir, and I can confidently say the experience was phenomenal from start to finish. The staff went above and beyond everyone was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and professional. The hospitality was outstanding, and the hotel itself is absolutely beautiful. The area is amazing and very secure. I especially appreciated the strong security presence, with police guarding the hotel and a thorough security process in place. It genuinely made me feel safe and comfortable throughout my stay. I’d also like to give a special thank-you to the front desk manager, Riham, who was extremely kind and accommodating. I was scheduled to check out at 12 PM, but she graciously allowed me to extend my stay with no additional cost, which I truly appreciated. From the bellmen to the housekeepers to the restaurant staff everyone was phenomenal. It’s rare that I recommend a hotel so strongly, but I would recommend this one a thousand times over. I will absolutely be back and will definitely suggest this hotel to anyone visiting Cairo.

The room tended to get quite cold at night, even after we turned off the AC. The front desk was very responsive and brought us a heater, but unfortunately it didn’t really warm up the room enough.

Located in a very nice and safe area opposite to the old museum. It is a very clean hotel with nice breakfast buffet . Clean gym and heated pool.

I made two different reservations with booking and the first day they charged us extra since they said i made it for one person only per room . Since i am a genius 3 member i know what i requested for. I tried to explain them that i spoke with them through messages that we are two married couples but they said that i booked a single room. Maybe there was a mistake on the booking site. It was an unpleasant experience for us because it was very late and we were tired but we had no other choice than to pay. I find the night receptionist staff a little arrogant when my sister told him that the experience is an 8/10 but overall helpful and polite. The main AC system is only cooling but you can request a heater that does a good work with heating.

Everything was very good, the breakfast, the room, the location, the service and the staff. We enjoyed our stay at the hotel.

Lovely and accommodating staff who went out of their way to be helpful. The location is also excellent. Cairo is insane so it is important to stay somewhere safe and in a good location. Definitely do not skimp on accommodation here!!

Nice room comfortable bed and helpful staff. Excellent location. Good breakfast. The reception staff were excellent and let us keep our room until 2pm (for a late afternoon flight) at no extra charge. Thankyou. Will definitely stay here again

I liked everything here, it’s in great location, great staffs that went above & beyond to make our stay special, extended our late checkout with little fees, security is 100% , the breakfast was great, variety & yummy!

The pool was suspect, I wanted to swim but didn’t want to Rick it because of the pigeons all around the pool. The hotel should carry small Egyptian bills for its patrons. It is hard to find small bills. Also a little guidance on tipping would be appreciated.

The staff are very friendly at the reception, the security, concierge, cleaners and especially the restaurant, very helpful and nice. Location is amazing, very close to everything and nice to take walks in the streets around. The breakfast is very good with excellent selection.

The rooms need better light. I completely appreciate the environmental aspect, but it is difficult to see and find things in the room during evening because the light is too low. I think only one better light bulb could make a huge difference

Excellent service and very clean hotel. The breakfast was tasty and had a lot of variety (Egyptian dishes, vegan and gluten free options), plus fresh juices every morning. The location was prefect for exploring Cairo.

Spa could be better. The dinner at the hotel restorant can be improved. The quality of breakfast was way better than the dinner.

Have stayed here for the second times and, undoubtedly, going to stay during all my future trips to Cairo. An oasis of comfort amid the busiest downtown. Elegant rooms, extra comfortable bed, amazing breakfast and buffet dinner, and unbelievably helpful and friendly staff. Thank you very much!

The staff was wonderful

All the key hotel basics are covered well, no complaints. Breakfast was good, seemed to be very diverse for different cultures and habits. The highlight is the restaurant though - everything we tried with a 20-strong group was great, arguably better than restaurants in the nearby 5* hotels with doubled price levels (had 3 evenings out to compare).

Security measures taken at entrance, friendly and helpful staff, Lamia in restaurant, Kristin and Donia. Big variety of breakfast offerings and tasty. It was a quite pleasure to receive couple of phone calls and a letter from Guest Relations asking about stay and if any help is required. Nice care about guests! Thanks!
