Steigenberger El Tahir Hotel, Cairo

I really liked the location of the hotel, it was super easy to do the check in and they provide everything you need for a comfortable stay in the city. It is super clean and they pay attention to the details. Which I really loved. I would recommend you stay here any time.

I recently had a fantastic stay at the Steigenberger Hotel El Tahrir Cairo. The experience was truly memorable, thanks to the exceptional service provided by the staff. Special appreciation goes to Riham Khalid, Fadiya Mohamad Amen, Abdulrahman Rizg, Donia, and Saif, who went above and beyond to make the stay comfortable and enjoyable. Their warm hospitality and professionalism made all the difference, and I would highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Cairo. Not the cheapest hotel in town, but the quality, service and location are superb

Absolutely central location, very clean and comfortable facility with excellent staff. One staff in particular who went out of way to assist us and we would like to thank very much and hopefully the management can pass on to her is Farida at customer service. She made several calls to resolve our travel issues and spoke on our behalf of us as we could not communicate in Arabic. We are very thankful that we approached her as she is extremely pleasant and very knowledge. Thank you Farida.

The location is unbeatable right in front of El Tahrir Square. The staffs are super nice and friendly. The breakfast is amazing. Nice omelettes.

The faucet of the wash basin is kind of weird. The water does not come out in a smooth aerated stream but kind-of like a spray. This causes a lot of splashes around while washing hands. Otherwise everything is awesome.

Location of this hotel is pretty good. Right across from the Egyptian Museum and also central enough to do all the other trips without wasting too much time in traffic. Metro is 5 minutes walk. The pool area is nice after a long hot dusty day, and the sauna is good too. We arrived very early in the morning and could get immediate check-in for extra pay. There were enough dining options around for a few days. Coffee & tea maker in room is good.

There are not really any supermarkets around so you are dependent on the small 'corner stores'. Wifi was a little slow at times.

Convenient location with high level of security without being too inconvenient

The amount to pay extra for the side nile view did not seem to be worth it.

It was ideally located with access to facilities

We did not have a booking and was advised by reception staff that it was fully booked upon arrival at the hotel. Fortunately, we then checked on booking.com and managed to secure a room and booked in the hotel as some friend who we were touring with were also booked at the hotel. We feel the reception staff could have been more accommodating. The chef at the hot counter for breakfast was also overwhelmed one morning and messed up my omelette order.
