We enjoyed our stay at the hotel. The location was amazing right next to the Egyptian museum and it’s along one of the main streets and square. Hotel itself is very modern and clean, well staffed, room was nice and comfortable for our two night stay. Breakfast was fantastic.

The pool was great - very refreshing after a dusty day in Cairo. Concierge were helpful. Wifi was strong. Location right next to the Egyptian museum was very handy. Right downtown. Good spot. Rooms were comfortable - international hotel standard. Easy to get Ubers and taxis to and from.

There was quite a lot of traffic noise (you’re in the middle of Cairo after all). It didn’t bother us that much but if you’re sensitive to noise keep it mind (but this would be hard to avoid in central Cairo).

Smart hotel, helpful staff.

Position near busy Tahrir Square means some rooms will be noisy. If you want quiet, choose a room on the Champollion Road side of the hotel.

The property is great by its staff … the help I got from Rabie and Farida is tremendous… the stay was excellent because of them

Very clean hotel with good facilities and staff. Reception, restaurant and housekeeping all very good. Beds comfortable, bathroom and toiletries and linen all very good.

Room was a little small (city centre) would have been better without the sofa crammed in. The city view is of a dilapidated building next door.

There was a door which connect my room to next room. All tv sounds of the next room was in my room. Hotel was perfect but this door make me away from Hotel.

Steinberger was really good for us in both Luxor El Achti and Cairo El Tahrir. Definitely recommend this quality hotel with its kind staff and great location.

The only thing we did not like in the hotel was the significant bad smell in the lobby of the hotel. Some kind of cleaning material smells really bad. But the rooms are ver y clean and fresh.

Excellent service , good breakfast , good food for lunch buffet and a la carte! Location also very good in the center in safe street with police.

The Lobby bar area could be improved a little, but everything else was great. Abdul on check in/check was superb.

Location was very close to Cairo Museum and The Nile River and centre of town. The room was a great size - the bed and pillows were clean and comfortable. The TV options for English was good and we had room service serval times and it was fabulous. Preferred having a shower even though it took us a day to work out the controls for rain shower head or held held and temperature.

The traffic noise still could be heard in our room and I didn’t like the shampoo/ conditioner all in one as it made my hair feel like straw ( I was only travelling with hand luggage so was relying on good shampoo and conditioner. The shower grate was terrible -it felt cheap and kept moving under your feet.

Morden and clear rooms. Excellent location as it’s just cross the street of Egyptian Museum. A 10 minute walk to the river and surrounded by shops, restaurants. Very good breakfast.

Lobby perfume overwhelming. 9 th floor but had to keep drapes closed as other building looks right in. Liquid soap holders both constantly fell off. No luggage holder

Everything was amazing - the staff in particular, everyone was so welcoming and so helpful. The location is great, within walking distance to a lot of attractions and cafes/restaurants. I definitely recommend staying here.

The staff were incredibly friendly and all so accommodating, would highly recommend speaking to Mr. Hany to try and arrange for a tour of the city which he can tailor to the guests, (if possible, ask for Mr Ahmed Imam as the driver/guide, absolutely top class service and driving).

My stay at this hotel left an excellent impression. I would especially like to highlight the guest relation desk and Ms. Farida, who was incredibly attentive, kind, and always eager to help with a sincere smile and great dedication. The hotel itself is very clean, well-maintained, and offers a high level of comfort. The location is excellent, making it easy to access all key attractions. Breakfast was outstanding – rich, diverse, and of very high quality. Additionally, the à la carte lunch was a true gastronomic experience, comparable to a Michelin-star level. All in all, this hotel fully deserves the highest recommendations.
