‏The service was great, the cleanliness was good, the breakfast was delicious and tasty, and the staff were friendly, especially reception Islam Very professional ,and the manager Carlos was very kind and professional.

Location is fantastic. It's 10 minutes walking from Tahrir Square, where you can hop on the metro to anywhere. Half-an-hour and you're on Zamalek. The staff is very nice and helpful. Breakfast is very healthy.

Egyptian police is everywhere, this is not good. These people are paranoid and threatening. Fortunately the staff was helpful in keeping them at bay, and my fellow hotel dwellers were also on their guard against police abuse. Egypt since 2011, when the actual president ordered the killing of 9000 people on Tahrir Square, is not a very nice country to visit. Fortunately, the Egyptian people are very nice and welcoming, which contrasts with the dictatorial outset.

i booked the reservation on booking , and when i arrived they informed me that the price was incorrect on the system and i had to pay for a new booking with a higher price. and till now i didnt even get a refund for the booking that i made on the booking.com

This is not 3 starts hotel, it’s 1. This is the problem in Cairo. Looks like better than really is. The room was clean, air conditioning was noise. Needs maintenance on the rooms.

I stayed there for two weeks. Friendly on the surface. Dirty... I had to tell them that I didn't like to see the dirt on the floor that I saw for the last two days... So they swept it, but the room never was really clean! Bathroom and sink same! Laundy came back still dirty, bad smelling... but ironed! 🤣 Breakfast is a little joke. Hard boiled egg, corned beef, pickles, packed cheese corners, artificial juice, tasteless very black water=coffee and luckily some cut tomatoe and cucumber. Rooftop tables and seats dusty... Mosquitoes at night. Not quiet outside and inside. Recepionist Eslaam is perfect! Thanks!

The first receptionist, cleaning lady and kitchen staff was friendly. The roof I was given has a balcony which is great.

When I was checking out, I was refunded for my remaining nights equal to 107 USD, which at that time was 3282 egyptian pounds or something like that. The 2nd receptionist gave me 3300 egyptian pound and I gave back 20 pounds. He didnt give me another 2 pounds. I just observe if he would be honest but he wasnt. I dont mind losing 2 pounds, it just to test his honesty but he obviously failed that.

No shades or blinds on the windows, which is bad combination with very early sunset in Cairo. No sound isolation to filter outside noise eg cars, prayer speakers etc. First day, I had hair on my bed, but was cleaned properly next time. Breakfast quality was bad (bread not fresh, juice in the jug probably is never changed (I was seeing the same dead fly floating for days). Avoid their tours, they are extremely overpriced and drivers are not carefully selected. eg the driver that took me to Giza recommended that I should not go inside the pyramid! but instead take a camel tour from someone working for the government (government is the scammer's tool) because the driver wanted a commission on top of the overpriced tour. Avoid if you want to actually visit the pyramids (you see one of the three great pyramids while passing on the camel and that's it... - 5 minutes), instead of riding a camel in the desert for 2 hrs.

Amazing views, not far from many attractions and a lot of little places to grab snacks right on the streets below. Staff was incredible. If anything came up, they went above and beyond to help. AC and showers in the rooms also worked great.

its in the center of Cairo, you can reach everything very cheap by taxi or ueber. the guys who work there are nice and helpful. it has an overview over Cairo from the rooftop.

Centrally located, near the metro station and many famous sights. Spacious and clean room. Nice view from the room's window on the 12th floor. Relatively quiet comparing to Cairo's noise. We overall liked our stay there. Good value for money.

We were only given one towel. The breakfast was stale and we saw birds and flies flying above the plates.

Location is very good in the city center, only 800 meters away from Egyptian museum. If you need sunglasses or frame for dioptric glasses you can find more than 50 shops in the neighbourhood.

breakfast is very basic; furniture is old and very dilapidated; but for that money it's hard to find a something better in that location.

Room was clean and big enough for our family of three. The bathroom was clean. We only stayed one night and this hotel fit our needs. When we arrived the receptionist showed us two different rooms and let us choose.

I have stayed at the Osiris several times before without issue, and when they work out they are usually a nice hotel, however this time I had some issues. I had booked two rooms. They send me a text on Whatsapp on the day of check in confirming both my rooms and the check in time. When I had arrived they had given the two rooms away, and offered me a room with two beds instead, with the bathroom across the hall. I was not so frustrated about the fact that they gave the rooms away, but it was super frustrating that they confirmed that both rooms were actually available ahead of time instead of clearly communicating the issue.

The overall stay was a letdown. The breakfast was very disappointing. The plates were dirty and had broken edges. Food was stone cold with warmers turned off. I had breakfast only one day despite having it included in the price. The room was not cleaned one day out of the 2-day stay. It was a room for 5 people. We left 7am in the morning and returned 9pm in the night to find our room in the same state in which we left it in the morning. When mentioned about it to.one staff member, the reply was "it is not my fault." Well, I had huge expectations from the place, which was not anywhere close to what I expected.

1. Location: Super convenient. 6-7 minute walk from Sadat Metro Station, 10-12 minute walk from Tahrir Square and River Nile. There are lots of affordable restaurants nearby. 2. Room: We were given a family room that can hold upto 5 person although we were 4 in total. The room was neat and clean, super spacious. It had all the amenities (they don’t provide mineral water and tea/coffee though). It had television, sockets, a big window and even a spacious balcony. Not a luxury room but super cool in this budget. 3. Breakfast: Runs from 8 AM to 11 AM. Traditional Egyptian breakfast. Very delicious I must say. 4. Terrace: They have a super nice terrace where breakfast is served. You will get a nice view of downtown Cairo from there. 5. Staffs: All of them were super friendly. They speak good English so don’t worry about that. They are indeed very good people, kept our luggage for free when we traveled to Alexandria for two nights and then St catherine for another two nights.

Wifi is the only issue that might annoy the guests. It’s not that good. Other than this, everything was perfect.

Very good location, and hotel exists top floor and restaurant locates roof of the building. Inside spacious and very nice. Not new, but sufficiently clean. Very friendly staffs. Restaurant is also really nice view and friendly staffs, delicious foods.

Overall building is old, and some of the elevators are frequently under repair. From street, it is not easy to find out hotel existence.(some taxi driver has difficulty to find out hotel location)

Kind and helpful staff, clean rooms and bathrooms, nice view from the rooftop. Quite good breakfasts (maybe dishes could be a little bit warmer but it was quite tasty). Free WiFi was working but it was not the fastest one.

Our first room was a little bit cold at night (it's December) but we had an extra blanket. Second room was warm at night so it's ok. Furnitures are not so modern, but they were clean so that's the most important.

It was our second time at the Osiris Hotel Cairo. We liked the large room (it was comfortable and clean), the friendly staff and the breakfast. Good for a short or long stay.

Amazing and responsive staff. I was able to arrange an airport pick up (we arrived at 3am) and adjust our booking via booking messages - huge thank you to Carlos!!! When we arrived we were welcomed by Mina, who was also incredible- he helped us book a great tour to Giza . location is great for people who like to walk - you can get to a very local and busy shopping area in 10 mins; Egyptian Museum in 15 mins. taxi from Train Station 30 Eg£

I liked the location of the hotel, the rooftop was the best thing about the hotel

Extremely rude staff (excluding fedy), as I arrived to the hotel they told me that my room isn’t ready yet ( although I’ve booked a room a month and a half prior to my date of arrival ) they told me that I needed to sleep in another room in another hotel that they owned ( even though my boyfriend who is a local booked a room in this hotel only to stay closer to me ) and just like that our plans were ruined..they didn’t offer to makeup for the inconvenience and they weren’t helpful nor flexible ( their attitude basically was take it or leave it we don’t have a room here now..) we didn’t have a choice so I stayed that night in the other hotel ( and we walked to the hotel ! a 20min walk with my heavy luggage! they didn’t even offer a ride )and little did I know that it was going to be the least annoying night of my stay.. My boyfriend and I had plans to go to another city in Egypt in the early morning and we would come back late at night the same day ( but our plans were jeopardized because I didn’t know which hotel to comeback to ) so we told them exactly that, they told us that they will transfer my luggage to the initial hotel I was staying at first thing in the morning..unfortunately they didn’t instead we had to call them in the middle of our trip and reminde them to transfer the luggage MULTIPLE Times! Now for the stay..you get what you pay for, the room is clean but it had a weird chemical smell so I had to open the windows each night so I can sleep in it, it says on booking that they offer a hairdryer , they do but booking didn’t mention that it was an extremely cheap one that melts the minute you use it ( it literally melted and the smell was suffocating) in the morning I showed them the hairdryer they laughed it off ( because they knew it was a cheap one ) and they didn’t offer to makeup for the inconvenience either.

Charming hotel at the top of an apartment block. Very good location just walking distance from downtown, but quiet enough to be a bit away from the mayhem. Excellent transport options. What sets this hotel apart is the roof terrace, which is absolutely charming and a welcome relax away up in roof away from the mayhem, the staff were delightful, and our room for 5 (2 adults plus 3 kids) worked perfectly for us. Price seemed to be competitive when we were looking, and because of the roof and the ability to escape when tired it exceeded expectations. They kept our bags for us without issue on the last day.

We asked for the room to be cleaned a couple of days in, but it wasn't really done - the towels were replaced, but the beds not made and didn't seem swept. Minor issue as we stayed only 3 nights.

The location is amazing. The staff were great. Excellent valule for money.

If possible I would like the room cleaned during the stay. Doesn't need to be everyday, every 2 or 3 days would be great. Better wifi
