Fantastic hotel at a great location, just a few hundred meters away from the bus stop of the E102 airport bus. Very calm. Huge rooms, high ceilings, vintage design. We liked it a lot. Walking distance to the "old town" and the river

Cool, eclectic and cosy

This is the coolest hotel we have ever stayed in. We had a studio on the second floor and it was fantastic. Great artwork and quirky bits and pieces. We had a kitchenette and 2 bathrooms. It read so quiet as we looked onto the courtyard and only 10 mins walk to the river. The staff were lovely and the cafe and bar also very cool. Would highly recommend this boutique hotel.

I guess if you are elderly the stairs could be an issue with bags but not for us

Beatiful little hotel with perfect location, making it easy to explore the city by foot.

The atmosphere was great. We loved the design and the artwork around the hotel. All of the staff we met were so friendly and helpful. Such a refreshing experience compared to the normal bland hotels. Location was ideal.

It would have been even better if the bar and cafe were open for more evenings during our stay. We very much enjoyed our time there on the Saturday night and were left wanting more!

In all corners, you can see the effort put into every little detail. Space is simply beautiful and cozy. Combined with the perfect location for sightseeing in Budapest, this place is very easy to recommend.

The only downside is the lack of parking space.

Brody House exceeded our expectations- it is absolutely gorgeous! Very spacious, clean, and welcoming. Staff is kind and helpful. My husband unfortunately experienced food poisoning (on a food tour- absolutely not at the hotel restaurant) and it could not have been a more comfortable room to recover.

Wonderful style and wonderful staff

The facility was beautiful and I loved the layout of the hotel. My room was large, had AC, and was quiet. The staff spoke English and was very kind.

The ONLY complaint that I have was that I could not find the AC remote to save my life. It was attached to the wall, which was covered in a collage of art, which made it difficult to notice right away. But I think that was just because of the artistic style of my room, and it was kind of funny in the long run.

Great style, ambiance, comfort and location. The staff were accommodating. We liked the ability to use the kitchen areas to make our own food, particularly breakfasts when we needed to get away early. That said, the breakfasts provided in the courtyard were delicious.

Brody Sandor Utca is a narrow street. Whilst I knew the hotel had no parking facilities, I had not been advised that there was also no space to even pull over the hire car and unload our luggage. No body from the hotel was able to come out and assist unloading 5 peoples luggage, so immediately I had cars behind on their horns in a street and City in which I had never driven. Could the hotel not come to some arrangement to have some of the street bollards nearby removed to allow for, at least, temporary loading?

Hotel is exceptional in every way. It really exceeded expectations. The rooms are original with beautiful art and are immaculate. Every staff member was engaging and couldn't do enough for us, especially the bar staff. Lovely welcome when we checked in also.

Brody House is simply soooo cool. It has Soho Farmhouse vibes but at far more affordable prices. We booked a studio which came with 2 bathrooms. What a bonus! The rooms are designed using reclaimed furniture and fittings whilst respecting the building heritage. The kitchen was well equipped and we also had a balcony looking at the inner courtyard. There is no furniture on the balcony though. All the rooms are filled with fabulous artwork and everything we needed for our stay. Brody House takes hotels to the next level. It was hard to leave and we will book again!

Large rooms full of art everywhere. Really excellent. There are large comfortable public room/kitchens for communal use that have well stock honor bars and coffee makers etc.

Lots of steps, no elevator but good exercise.

A unique and very cool property - interesting decor and different in every room. Lovely cafe downstairs. Very clean and comfortable. Converted home (I think) so walls very good at blocking sound.

I wasn't bothered by these things, but know there is no elevator; it was very hot in Budapest when I was there and while the rooms are absolutely air conditioned, the common areas are not.

Room was very nice and clean. Quite nice architecture and lovely decoration. The personnel was very helpful and kind. The inside garden restaurant is a plus, as you just get out of the room and you can get a coffee. Close to the public transport.

Lack of an elevator could be a problem for some so check what floor your room is on.

Such a beautiful and spacious room. We were amazed by the bath tub in the bedroom that gave us some amazing spa moments. The bathroom was one of the most beautiful I have ever seen in a hotel. Everything was wonderful. Would definitely recommend!

The bar in the hotel is based on the trust principle - you take something and then write it down. We got a not so friendly message reminding us to pay for the items we took, although we didn't take anything. When I brought it to the staff's attention, they were very friendly about it. But my advice would be: If the system doesn't work, then maybe it's time to change it ;)

I loved the room with its very special and tasteful interior. The room was spacious, also the bathroom. Everything was clean and welcoming. Also there is a fully equipped kitchen on the floor that can be used, which is really comfortable.

Hm, it wasn't a problem for me, but it can be for others: the rooms are on the 2nd floor without an elevator.

An exceptional property with fantastic attention to detail in the property. We stayed in the PG room with a huge bath and shower. The artwork adds tremendously, and the kitchen is fully equipped. It was hard to drag ourselves out to explore Budapest. Spotlessly clean.

The luxury of the room. It was brilliant. Location is superb and the staff are all so helpful!

We had a power cut but I don't think it was the hotels fault, I think the local authority cut the power to the block

HUGE apartment with stunning styling, amazing attention to detail in every room, launching a historical room into 21st century with flair. All appliances we could have wished for existed. No TV was supplied in the room, which we thought was a plus, there were TV facilities in the common areas of which there were 3.

Really nice and stylish rooms, lovely inner yard with ivy all around the building. There is a shared kitchen if you need prepare some food and big nice shared balcony. Will definitely come back to this place!

The location is great, and the room is gorgeous.

OK, I did not expect this level of style ! The room was beautifully decorated, massively influenced by the history of the hotel - artists' residence. Each room is themed on each artist with works of art throughout and making up the overall decor. Our room was large, high ceilings, quiet, and had every facility I needed ... or could even imagine ever needing! The 2 ladies on reception were very helpful and friendly. Additionally, I am happy the room had no TV. It was a welcome change and a TV would not fit in place in this artistic environment. For a longer stay, the dishwasher, washing machine, oven etc, would be great, however our 3-day was too short for these. There is nothing at all to fault - it is not a modern, sterile, hotel, ... this place is beautiful, charismatic, and very stylish.

I loved being at Brody House. The room was fabulous and extremely spacious. I had a wonderful time staying here. The location is excellent, and you can walk to all the places. There are lots of good places to eat nearby. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I loved the building itself - it isn't like a hotel - you feel like you're part of a story. The whole property is incredible. I will recommend this to others.

I loved everything about this place! The only point to note for those who are slightly older or have challenges climbing stairs is that my room was on the 2nd floor, and you have to climb several stairs to get there - this wasn't a problem for me - but for slightly older people - it might be a challenge.

Amazing atmosphere - rooms with a lovely urban vibe, very tasteful, full of small artsy pieces. Cool late-night bar idea!

Great central position opposite the museum, close to public transport and restaurants. Gorgeous historic house decorated in quirky style with a bar, access to a laundry and kitchen. Totally unique!

The breakfast provided was vegan/vegetarian, lovely food but may not suit everyone. We were not aware of this when booking. Also no lift so suitcases need to be carried upstairs (very minor issue when staying in such a unique property!)

This place is absolutely charming and so well executed. From the staff to the rooms, decor and the honesty bar it was right up my street. If you want full service hotel, with a restaurant and room service, then its probably not for you, but if you want something unique and quirky in a location that cant beaten I cant think of anywhere better

The atmosphere of the place was incredible! We are definitely going to come back when we visit Budapest again.
