The room was very clean, tidy, large in size. The staff was very friendly, although I checked in at 00:30. The location is central, you can get anywhere very quickly (on foot or by public transport)

Very good location, the rooms are big and nicely furnished. The terrace was amaizing! Breakfast was good and the restaurant was beautiful! Also the food at the restaurant was very good and service was excellent.

The building is quite old and historic. The entrance is a little hard to find, and reception is up on the 3rd floor. The suite we stayed in was very spacious and comfortable. It even had a couple of private roof top terraces, which would be amazing in warmer weather. The staff was very helpful and attentive.

Weirdly, however, the bathroom only had a tub with a hand shower and NO shower curtain. That made taking a shower very difficult to avoid flooding the room. I suppose one is supposed to sit in the tub and carefully hose off, but that is definitely not my style.

We booked a studio and they upgraded us to deluxe studio.

Located on certain floors of an old building in the center. First i was a bit confused how to get to the reception, but the hotel is great. I got a cozy room under the roof, with a lovely roof balcony. The room though not very big, fascinated me with its design Complimentary water, a good minibar for a charge. I was most fascinated with fresh flowers in the room and a hairband in the vanity kit.)) Really appreciated it as a girl. A very nice and helpful receptionist and exquisite design of the building itself.

The location and stuff very good. The room is so nice and clean. There were everything ok.

We loved the central location. Excellent for getting to the attractions and the hop on hop off bus stops directly opposite. It is right next to the Opera. Rooms were decorated really nice and spacious and had a little balcony. Lots of nice touches. Such as Nespresso coffee baker, snacks, water, toiletries. Would recommend a stay here. Staff were lovely.

It wasn’t until we arrived that we found out they were rooms in a big building on floors 3 to 4 floor. Breakfast is served in the Callas House restaurant which you had to enter outside the building on the side. Yes there was a Buffett breakfast but basic compared to other places we have stayed. There was no bar to have a drink in the evening you would need to go elsewhere or in the separate Callas House restaurant.

Perfect location. The rece1 ptionist was probably one of the most friendly, helpful and pleasant we've encountered.

You had to exit the hotel and walk around the corner to the breakfast but worth the minor inconvenience, as it was a charming restaurant. In fact on the first night the restaurant and indeed most of the street became a film set for an episode of NCIS. . It was doubling for Paris

The amazing building and its history, the room decor, the style. Location next to the Opera house on beautiful Andrassy boulevard, metro stop just a minute away, just everything is a ten out of ten. Very friendly and helpful receptionist with great knowledge and skills. Breakfast is downstairs in this wonderful café, selection is good and there is so much space to have it in comfort.

Breakfast. Not a great selection, would be nice to see a wider choice of food and drinks. we didn’t arrive late but most things had already gone.

We had a suite with two balconies and it was a lovely room. Couldn't use the balcony because it was midwinter but it would be great in the warmer months. Position is superb, right next door to the opera house and along a safe street with high end designers and products. Easy walk to the metro and trams (download the BudapestGo app for transport and tickets, it works seamlessly). Also nearby are some quirky bars and eateries. The Grease Monkey is an underground pub that has to be seen to be believed. The staff at the hotel were very friendly and efficient. Good wifi. Breakfast is in the cafe next door and is no more than ok. It's adequate but nothing memorable.

Three things spring to mind. Finding the place is not easy. Callas House cafe is easy to find but the hotel is accessed through a unremarkable door off the street next to the cafe. Yes, it does say Callas House on it but it doesn't say ‘Hotel’ and can only be entered via the intercom system on the wall. We were sat in the cafe drinking and five different couples came in asking where the hotel was so this clearly wasn't just an ‘us’ problem. Secondly, as mentioned, the breakfast left a bit to be desired (especially bacon, as this is the first hotel buffet breakfast I have ever had that didn't offer bacon on the menu!). Finally, the quality of the towels is very poor for a hotel of this standard- wafer thin material with holes. However, the above gripes to one side I feel that, should we visit Budapest again, I would be happy to stay here again as the positives outweigh the negatives.

The room got quite hot at night so had to open the window which meant we could hear some noise from the street.

The location was perfect for shopping and sightseeing.

We are traveling with our dog and they gave us a better suit, a bigger one for our dog to be more comfortable, they gave us bowls for food and water and even gave her food 😄 it is a historical building and the design of the suit was incredible, one of the best I have seen so far! You can see the opera house from the window, and it is in a really good neighbourhood, very central. I highly recommend the hotel, especially the suit with City view, very helpfull hosts and you feel really welcome. ❤️

This is a charming and extremely beautiful boutique hotel. There was an amazing café & restaurant on the ground floor by the same name (which is also where the breakfast was held). The rooms were extremely spacious and felt extremely luxurious. The bathrooms had a vintage feel to them but were spacious.

No proper reception, no place to gather with friends for drink etc. one of staff At breakfast came across very rude and grumpy everyday

Extended breakfast service from 7:30-10:30. Poached eggs were yummy. Fresh fruit. Self service, which worked well for us.

Not that negative, but you do have to go outside to enter the breakfast area (It's part of the Callas Cafe on street level)

I had a pleasant stay. The location is excellent, very central with a metro station nearby and on a street lined with high-end brands. The design and ambiance are charming, the hotel is on the 3rd and 4th floor of a renovated building with art-deco features. The staff were helpful and welcoming, providing an informative introduction during check-in. The room was spacious, clean, and equipped with a mini fridge, Nespresso machine, and a Marshall Bluetooth speaker. The bed was large and comfortable.

The shower area could use some improvement, particularly the rusty showerhead. On the first day, I had to wait about 10 minutes for the water to warm up, which was a bit inconvenient. However, once it did, temperature was consistent and no issues on the following days. Some variety in the breakfast buffet would be appreciated, as it becomes repetitive after a few days.

I missed a lobby

Callas House is a good place to stay on your vacation. Its location is exceptional and allows you to be in the center just a 2-minute walk away. The deluxe double room meets the requirements. If you have the opportunity to request a view of the Opera, you will have more peace of mind at night since it is on a pedestrian street. One aspect to improve would be breakfast. Every day there is the same thing and they don't change anything. For those of you who stay more than three days, perhaps I would recommend not take with breakfast.

Very central location. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. The lady working at reception was extremely nice and very helpful gave us a lot of tips for what to do and see.

The only minor thing was that the breakfast closes at 10.30 so you need to leave the room they will not let you stay past that time.

Callas House is bespoke. The receptionist is extremely helpful in places to visit and eat.

Everything was absolutely excellent, I highly recommend! Nice room, comfortable bed, clean sheets and towels, nice view, tasty breakfast in beautiful restaurant on the first floor.

The only small thing, hairdryer was not in the best condition, but that’s nothing compared to everything else.

Walking distance to the best part of Budapest, next to the Opera House. Friendly and helpful staff, breakfast was delicious and I loved the architecture of the building and location based the breakfast.

Staff was very kind, knowledgeable and helpful in making reservations for concerts, Hop On Hop Off bus. Restaurant food and service was excellent. Great little buffet breakfast served in morning. Hotel is only on top 2 floors of 4-story older building - 20-24 rooms. Elevator is available and building is secure with keycard access. Deluxe balcony room only has very small balcony 2 chairs and table and balcony wall is high so not able to see over top but you can see through sections.
