Everything was lovely and nice from the moment we walked into the doors. Will be coming here next time with adults only so I can fully experience everything the 29 floor had to offer ;)

I liked everything however I was shocked to find out I had to pay £100 per night as a deposit incase of damages till I checked out which I didn’t mind but it would be nice to have had been told beforehand perhaps I didn’t read the small prints. Certainly it wasn’t very obvious. I do get the money back when I check out so that’s good news but if anyone came with limited spending it could be an issue. We booked this last minute and came prepared so I am thankful we was able not to be impacted by this.

Breakfast in the room was great. Staff super friendly and helpful. In particular Joe was super hospitable and helped with all questions

Amazing Hotel, Beautiful comfortable rooms and interior design, but above all the staff was incredibly nice! everyone you ask from the front desk to the restaurant every person was genuinely nice! The restaurant was some of the best food I had and the price was fair! We had dinner and breakfast at the Double Standard

The location didnt quite worked for us as we were there for tourisim rather than business but I get that for business the location couldnt be better. Luckly is a small city so we werent too far from the city centre and the toursity spots

Clean, had a nice view/window which you could also open for fresh air. Robes were provided. Room service and breakfast were good.

The pillows were quite soft and I feel that 100 euros a night for the deposit was quite excessive.

Modern design hotel in the North Quarter, not far from the Gare du Nord. Very handy if you have business in the neighbourhood. Excellent view from the 22nd floor. Decent price-quality. Fancy restaurant on the 29th floor. Very friendly staff.

Having only stayed for one night for business, nothing really. Enjoyed breakfast as well. I liked the design and colours of the hotel. The neighbourhood is not accomodating for a walk in the evening as it is really a business district.

The ambiance, cleanliness, amenities

At check in we were offered an upgrade. We really appreciated it but entering the room I thought maybe the receptionist forgot to give us the promised upgrade. When we called reception we were informed that the upgrade was actually a room on the 20th floor but the same category I had booked. Without the upgrade we would have stayed on the 14th floor. When we entered the restaurant on the top floor (29th floor) at 5.30pm, we were told to make a reservation if we wanted to have dinner there. When we asked if there was a table for two for that evening, they said that they were fully booked and not even bothered adding us on the waiting list. When we got back at the room, I went on the website of the restaurant and saw that there were still spots free from 8.30pm. So we booked online. We enjoyed the food in the restaurant but if we hadn’t checked the website for a table after they had told us that they were completely booked. We would have gone somewhere else. If I were the manager of the restaurant I would offer the staff extra training on hospitality and customer engagement.

Staff was great. Door mans were so helpful, especially Joe I believe. But in general staff was greated and helpful and accomodating. No complaints whatsoever.

Good and clean room, everything that you need to have a cosy evening at hand. Lots of staff everywhere to help you out when needed

Breakfast was ok, but I expected a bit more for the price. Everything tasted quite good and you never had to wait long for refills or table service, but I would have liked to have a few more options like other kinds of bread (other than toast and pastries) or fresh fruit other than the premade bowls (bananas, full apples,...)

Great decor and staff were good, we didn’t get to dine on the rooftop as it was closed on Sundays, but we enjoyed the food and bar downstairs, and the mini bar is good too.

The neighbourhood is central but the red light district and train station are nearby, so that isn’t ideal.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Absolutely outstanding stay! This hotel exceeded all my expectations. I was super stressed for an important evening occasion, and the staff made all the difference. At the reception, Joey — the most attentive Australian lady, speaking excellent Italian — was simply wonderful. The entire team was kind and professional, and even the director was a down-to-earth and very approachable gentleman. It was an absolute pleasure to stay at this new hotel. The parking underneath the building is spacious and convenient, and the location is perfect — close to all the major Brussels headquarters. The room (thank you so much for the upgrade!) had an amazing view, was spotlessly clean, and truly comfortable. But above all, it’s the people who make this place special. See you all on my next visit — this is a real hidden gem! 💎

We only stayed one night but staff were very polite, friendly and helpful. Room was a good size and bed great size and super comfy. Attention to detail in room fittings was nicely unusual and high standard of finish. Loved the round slatted through window from bathroom to bedroom.

This was a highlight of Brussels, and I’ve been here several times. Creative interior, perfect sleeping conditions, professional people - I loved almost everything!

The classic deco design of the rooms, lobby, and reception and quality furnishings and linnens made the stay in this repurposed office building a superior Brussels experience. If that were not enought to recommend, the staff's attentiveness and manner are to be highly commended and superior to similary priced hotels. Finally, I recommend both the rooftop dining for sunset and the high quality breakfast spread at the Double Standard.

While the shower was amazing in our room, the temperature control could take some time to acheive temperature.

The staff was super nice and helpful. The hotel itself looks really nice and is located well enough and the room was nice with great view. The rooftop hotel was nice as well. The breakfast buffet, while short on selection, was pretty good. Nice cocktails too!

The breakfast buffet was small (but the quality was really good). All the essentials were there but if felt a bit minimalistic. The light management in the room requires a degree in rocket science.

The place has got such a personality. Loved the design, all the effort they put in making it look nice.

This is a great hotel, very new with amazing rooms, views and 5 star treatment from the lovely staff. We were very tired and didn't have a great experience in Brussels but the interactions with people here made our trip! Definitely recommended especially for the price.

The breakfast service was not what you'd expect from a hotel like this, very limited options and average taste (things that were supposed to be hot were not). The location of the hotel is in North of Brussels, the train station Noord is very close but not a nice area, dodgy vibes and best bet would be to use a taxi especially after dark

The property exudes a modern and contemporary vibe, welcoming visitors at the lobby with an inviting atmosphere. The staff is prepared, helpful, and professional. My room was exceptionally comfortable, particularly the bed, and it boasted a spacious bathroom. The view from my room was also a significant plus.

The only downside of the restaurant downstairs was the limited vegetarian options. The same dishes were served in the rooms, but I would have preferred simple tapas or a first and second course instead of burgers and salads, which I don’t particularly enjoy.

The staff was very friendly. The junior suite received had a really nice view and I found the room very comfortable ... even if you want to work from the hotel, it’s quiet and has everything you need. The breakfast didn’t have much variety, but it suited my taste perfectly and everything I ate was very good. It’s not the typical continental buffet you might expect at other hotels, but the quality is excellent.

For me, it was a positive aspect. I’m not sure anyone would complain about not having a TV in the room, but I personally wouldn’t use it even if it were there.

Everything was wonderful! We came with my husband to celebrate his birthday. We were offered an upgrade of the room, the restaurant on the top floor was chosen for both nights and never disappointed us, very nice cuisine and service, the cafe downstairs offered the same great quality lunch, except maybe cappuccino - that was below our standards and the standard of THE STANDARD :) But we definitely recommend and put this hotel to the list of our favourites.

Location was unfortunately not safe with no appropriate parking space belonging to the hotel.

Beautiful hotel and very friendly and helpful staff. The breakfast was delicious and we ate dinner in the Double Standard restaurant which was excellent too. It was lovely in the evening being able to sit outside in the greenhouse but under cover! Our toddler had a whale of a time looking at the trains out of the room windows. It’s close to the station so very easy for transport. Any teething issues in previous reviews have been ironed out.
