Craves, Brussels

The location is very central, quite a busy touristy area. The visual aesthetic was great, very atmospheric. The room was pleasant, bed very comfy, good shower. The ground floor bar was nice if expensive, great for hanging out reading or writing during the day. The breakfast had a wide selection of basic items (yoghurt, muesli, pastries, eggs etc) but nothing special; only coffee machine coffee.

Before arriving, I received several phishing messages on WhatsApp with details of my booking but not sent by the hotel, suggesting their data security is very poor, which was worrying. The hotel did not respond to my message in the Booking.com app regarding this. The coffee machine in the room broke. They nearly billed us for an extra day's breakfast we didn't have. There's a hidden cocktail bar / club on the first floor where we were staying which seemed kind of seedy and very expensive, but also not great for security if returning late at night (you can just walk up from the ground floor bar). Overall, it was overpriced and underwhelming, and felt a bit scammy and unsafe.

Very central to the historic part of the city. A short walk to the main square, shops and restaurants, and the train station.

Our 3rd floor room overlooked a very noisy street and pub. People were partying until 3am just below our window on a weeknight. Thankfully we had earplugs, so it wasn't a big issue, but it's something to be aware of.

The hotel was in a fantastic location, just a short walk from Grand Place and surrounded by plenty of restaurants, cafés, and shops. The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were welcoming and helpful during our stay. It was a convenient and enjoyable base for exploring Brussels.

Someone was smoking in a room nearby late last night and the smoke drifted into my room keeping me awake.

Comfortable beds in a spacious, well-furnished and -decorated room. The clean and big bathroom was a big plus. The location is very central, close to shops, restaurants, and public transport.

It got pretty cold in the evenings in the room and the provided heaters could not really heat the room effectively. The fact that the bathroom lights also bring in cold air at the same time was not particularly pleasant either.

The location of the hotel was excellent and very convenient. The beds and sheets were clean and very comfortable, which made the stay more pleasant. However, we were placed in a building across the street from the main hotel, as the staff informed us there were no rooms for four available in the main building. The bathroom was not very clean, and there were no slippers provided, which was a bit disappointing.

Overall, a good stay mainly because of the location and comfortable bed.

Very good location, central but quiet. Comfortable room, plenty of space and nice little touches, not generic or modern. Beautifully decorated and good sized bed.

The bathroom tended to flood, there was no fan and the condensation was a little problematical. The only other negative was that the towels were really thin.

It's opposite noisy bars which stayed open almost all night. Could do with better double glazing! Quite difficult to sleep.

We had an overall pleasant stay. The room was clean, nicely decorated, and comfortable. The breakfast was very good, with a good variety of options and fresh products.
The staff was polite, the hotel has a nice atmosphere, and the location is excellent for visiting Brussels. Overall, we would recommend this hotel.

The only inconvenience I experienced was during check-in. My girlfriend arrived before me and initially she was not allowed to enter the room until I arrived. However, after some time, they eventually allowed her to go into the room, which she appreciated. Aside from this, everything else was perfectly fine.

I recently stayed at Hotel Craves in Brussels, and I can’t recommend it enough! The location is absolutely perfect—right in the heart of the city, on the main pedestrian street. Although the hotel feels intimate when you first step in, it actually spans two floors with plenty of space—so it’s cozy but not small.

The staff is incredibly helpful—always smiling, eager to assist with luggage, and they even let me leave my bags both before check-in and after check-out. The whole place has a unique charm—not your standard chain hotel. It has a kind of baroque, vintage French vibe—think old-fashioned rotary phones, a clawfoot bathtub, and a darker, atmospheric feel. The rooms are tastefully decorated, spotless, and I found everything I needed.

On the first floor, there’s a communal coffee station, which was a nice perk, and I also used the ironing room—everything was fine there. Breakfast was fantastic—lots of variety, so everyone can find something they like. In the evening, there’s a restaurant downstairs—we didn’t dine there, but we had drinks, and they were great. Overall, I highly recommend Hotel Craves for anyone looking for a cozy, charming, and character-filled stay in Brussels!

The hotel is located in town center, just a few steps from the Grand Plaza. Very clean and comfortable.

The room they gave us wasn’t really in the hotel but in front of it, but is was ok anyway.

We really liked the staff — attentive, friendly, and always ready to help. The hotel is beautiful, with a pleasant atmosphere, and the breakfasts were truly delicious and varied.

After the cleaning, there was an unpleasant smell in our room — it felt as if the floors had been cleaned with a dirty mop. Also, the curtain at the bottom was very dirty, which slightly affected our overall impression.

I liked the hotel, the way it was decorated and furnished, the nice atmosphere and kindness of the employees. Although my room was small, it was great and also the breakfast was wonderful with fresh fruits etc. So I have recommended the hotel already to 3 persons and will for sure come again!
