Hotel Made In Louise, Brussels

Great breakfast, beautiful building, clean and with all necessary amenities.

The booked room was a little small for a traveller with two big luggages

We always like to return to your hotel even though it's a 30 minute walk to places like Bozar. On the other hand it's not right where there are droves of tourists and there are a nice assortment of restaurants and coffee bars in the area. Also, we like the staff (always kind and friendly), the atmosphere, the decor, the environmentally friendly bottles of water, and always always the CROISSANTS!

The beds could be better. That's always been the case, they consistently seem to be worn down on the outside. That is either because you need to buy higher quality, longer lasting beds or you have to test and replace them more often. We realize that an investment of either sort costs money and may result in higher prices.

Staff during breakfast could say hello or ask if everything is ok to give you a more welcoming feeling.

I really enjoyed my stay – the room was spacious, comfortable, and clean, with a desk perfect for work. The receptionist was very polite, and the breakfast offered a nice variety of hot and cold options.

The hotel is about a 20–30 minute walk from Brussels centre, which I was aware of. The area itself felt nice and safe, and there are public transport options available.

All in all it was good. Just the furniture was already a bit older and would need a make over soon.

Staff very attentive, quiet room, amenities, clean, comfortable bed, bathroom, towels, safe environment. All in all, a fantastic stay. We will be back.

Electricity didn't work, but was fixed within 1,5 hours. It might be smart to offer guests a free drink as compensation for the discomfort (unfortunately it was not offered to us).

The building has a lot of character with high ceilings and beautiful courtyard. Breakfast was great. Room was small but nice (I had the 12m2 room)

We stayed in room 65 which is a family room, enormous bed in one enormous room and a single bed in another room up a few stairs, then up a few more stairs to the enormous bathroom with a bath and a walk-in shower. It felt more like an apartment than a hotel room, it was absolutely fabulous! The staff could not do enough for us, in the reception area there is beer, wine and snacks for sale, there is chilled water and bottles to fill yourself. The free sweets on the counter were lovely, there is a pool table inside and outside a peaceful garden and patio area with a large outdoor chess set. There was a large choice at breakfast, cereals and nuts, even pots of chia seeds / raspberry sauce, cold meats, cheeses, various breads and fruits, pastries, jams and spreads and a small hot food section. Great coffee machine which delivered creamy lattes. The location is perfect for upmarket shopping on Avenue Louise, accessing the Grand Place area and the ponds at Ixelles, next to which is a great Art Deco bar with a wide choice of bottled and draught Belgian beers. Hotel is approx 10/15 mins from Gare du Midi so perfect if arriving by Eurostar. Thank you so much Made in Louise, you gave us a wonderful and relaxing few days away!!

Room was small but very comfortable. Definitely get the breakfast! It was amazing.

Some people might find it too far from the major sights but we found it ideal to be away from the crowds.

Nice garden area. Very flexible with suitcases to meet travelling schedules of guests. Free water, coffee and tea for guests in reception area. Room was larger than expected and very clean.

There’s only one lift for guests / staff that is very small and can take a while to come. The pool room is fun however it is slightly too small to play pool properly.

The staff were so friendly and helpful! We felt welcomed and well taken care of. Thank you so much ❤️ We liked the location — it was a peaceful area but very close to public transport and also within walking distance of the city centre. There are nice coffee shops and restaurants around, as well as a decent supermarket. Our room overlooked the quiet inner courtyard, so it was absolutely tranquil. The bed was very comfortable, and we had a great night’s sleep. We also liked the common area that we could use. It included the courtyard and an indoor sitting area where you can make tea or coffee and grab a snack. The breakfast was very good. We particularly loved the tasty cooked vegetables, as we try to follow a healthy diet. Everything else we tried was also fresh and delicious.

Perhaps a bigger selection of snacks for guests, at coffee area. Just a minor thing and it certainly didn’t stop how lovely the hotel was.

The courtyard was amazing. Having readily available tea and water was lovely!

It was a little far from the city center, and the subways were typically hot and crowded. Not that big of an issue, but a little tough during the heat wave! Made in Louise has a lot of charm in the common areas - I was a little disappointed by the room in comparison. Something to add more personality and make the room feel less generic would go a long way!

Great selection of food for breakfast. Girls working on reception were very nice. Room was clean. Good internet connection. On the TV you have Netflix/Youtube.

Some areas of the hotel only have stairs and you have to carry your suitcases yourself.

The hotel was very unique. We liked the recreational options such as chess and table tennis and courtyard. There was a billiard room but rather small which made it difficult to extend the pool cues. There was free coffee and water all day. The room was clean and comfortable although a little small. The staff was very friendly and helpful. You can purchase snacks and beer. The location was ideal.. a 10minute walk from the metro station. We will definitely stay here again.

The pool room was small.

The breakfast was delicious and very varied, the room was large (we were upgraded from a comfort room), and very clean, with excellent (and very quiet) air-con and super comfy bed. The outside area, with table tennis and large chess, was a nice surprise. And the pool table inside was fun. Water, on tap, in the main reception was a nice touch, as were the free pastries.

It’s not often you feel genuinely welcomed to a hotel, but we did here. Absolutely lovely staff, beautiful reception with tea / coffee / water, and super breakfasts. Our rooms were spotless, had excellent fittings, and best of all were silent (with no random fan noises!). We walked to most places, including the Grand Place.

Staff are extremely friendly. Great location. Breakfast is delicious with many options. Rooms are clean.

Lift was small

The hotel is located within the housing complex of a quiet street in Ixelles. I greatly appreciated the extreme courtesy of all the staff and the spirit of informality and extreme attention to detail. In particular, the free drinking water, the herbal tea always available, an accessible garden where you can have a beer, and last but not least a terrace where you can have breakfast (much appreciated in the summer season).

Everything was very comfortable, but it must be said that the room was modestly sized (compared also to the cost of the facility) and did not provide enough privacy (with open windows one could easily see inside).

Details and cleaness

The room was a decent size and clean. The double bed was very comfortable. The hotel was quiet at night, allowing us to have a good night's sleep. The staff at reception were friendly and very helpful. We also liked the overall vibe of the hotel - very cosy, and the complimentary herbal tea brewing at the reception area was a nice touch. The location was good - close to restaurants and cafes. We used Uber to travel from Brussels Midi, but walked everywhere otherwise. We will definitely stay there again and recommend it to others.

It checked all the points: location - close to city center, safe and well connected with public transport including train stations; supermarket and restaurants nearby; very clean, comfortable bed, smart use of small space, good quality toiletries, no noise elevator; also not on busy street (no traffic noise) and great breakfast. Very nice reception ladies, great English. Also great garden!

The area is quiet and central. The staff were very friendly and attentive. The lounge is very pleasant, with coffee and water available at all times. There is also a terrace behind the house. Breakfast was very good.

In my bedroom, there was no door/separation between the toilet and the bedroom. This could be an inconvenience if you have to share the room. Nothing else.

My experience at the accommodation was excellent. The room was very comfortable, spacious, and well-equipped, making it perfect for relaxing and enjoying the stay. Everything was clean and tidy, which made us feel comfortable from the very beginning. In addition, the reception staff were outstanding; they were always friendly, helpful, and willing to answer our questions or give us useful recommendations to make the most of our visit. Without a doubt, I would choose this place again.
