Hotel Made In Louise, Brussels

It was a lovely clean hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the pool room and played a couple of times. The breakfast was excellent although we hadn’t included it in our booking. Loads of excellent restaurants close by.

We enjoy walking and therefore didn’t mind walking into the main town but some people may find that a problem, although it is close to a metro. Our only real issue was that the room was a bit stuffy which was ok once the window was opened.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at a delightful, family-run hotel that exceeded my expectations in every way. The moment I stepped inside, I was charmed by the cozy, welcoming atmosphere that exuded a distinct Victorian vibe. The hotel, managed by a talented mother-and-son duo, is a testament to the mother's impeccable taste in decor. Every room is thoughtfully designed to capture the essence of a themed, historic home, complete with intricate details that transport you back in time. The comfort provided here is unmatched, especially considering the very reasonable price. The staff deserves special mention for their warm hospitality and exceptional service that goes beyond what one might expect. They truly make you feel like an honored guest in their home. One of the most enchanting aspects was the collection of coffee table books scattered throughout the hotel—beautifully curated selections on architecture, art, and travel that made me want to stay in rather than explore Brussels. Lounging by the fireplace, sipping their rich coffee, and flipping through these hand-picked books felt like living as a Victorian-era duchess, adding an unforgettable layer to the experience. If you’re seeking a stay that feels personal, warm, and steeped in history, I couldn’t recommend this gem enough.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was very good . The decor of the hotel was very pleasing and the hotel was centrally located, but quiet. We liked the fact that you could fill up drinking water bottles and help yourself to tea and coffee.

There was not enough storage space in our room and I had to leave several items in my suitcase. The wardrobe was too narrow with not enough shelving. It would have been good to have a chest of drawers in the room or at least drawers in the bedside tables.

A very high ceiling In a big room, 2 chairs, desk, side tables. In a nice quiet residential area, but still a well located area, near main streets with stores and restaurants and bars. Helpul young staff. Easy to take tram to major sights. Good beds. Free coffee (and small croissants often). Elevator for most floors. We skipped breakfast but it is offered.

No fridge. Also for folks with major walking problems, know there a few small flights of stairs to get to elevators.

Location. Clean. Staff were lovely. Breakfast was great. Honesty bar was reasonably priced except €2.50 for a tea bag - get a beer instead!

Rooms were a bit Spartan, it would be easy to make them feel more luxurious- cushions, pictures, curtains. We were also bothered considerably by noise from rooms above and below.

The staff were really lovely, and helpful whenever I asked a question. The room was bright and airy, good size and clean. Great location for getting to the city center (walking or public transport).

The only small downside was my room was right next to a lift, so I could hear people coming and going a fair bit.

I was extremely pleased I booked this hotel for my trip to Brussels. My room was lovely, the hotel was decorated nice and clean. The staff were friendly and accommodating. I will definitely stay here again.

The only thing that I would change is the check in time.

Very nice little room, everything very clean and well presented. The room had air conditioning which was very welcome. Very nice guy at reception who was always happy to help with anything we needed.

Breakfast was very good, with GF bread for my wife, lots of choices, everything looked fresh, clean place, friendly staff. Good size room, old-fashioned decor, great toiletries, fairly decent choice of drinks, great location, quite street.

The room was not sound proof, we could hear the people next door, shouting, also the floor was old style, the people upstairs, were walking in heel's shoes and we had to " dance " with them until they went quite. I was able to rely my feedback about the noise to the receptionist in the morning.

The room was large and clean

Friendly and welcoming property. Especially loved that they offered free self-service water and lemonade, pool table, daily housekeeping, and fantastic breakfast. Also useful - laundry service! We were in an attic room but thankfully they also have a lift.

The location was great, everything looked amazing. The staff was amazing with my request and there are also a few free postcards that was there to take ✨

One of the rooms i booked (smaller in size) was not up to the standard I looked for and I had to change the booking to a larger room. So the reviews you might see in the websites might be specific to the room types as its not consistent

Service at the hotel was excellent. Breakfast had a lot of options, and the hotel is located in a quiet, residential area of the city.

This is a really nice, more modern hotel. It has a nice courtyard where our group could sit and discuss the day's activities. We found some nice restaurants in the neighborhood a little to the north of the hotel (away from the city center, so don't forget to go that direction too!)

This hotel was a hike from our train station and from the city center. This was fine for our group, because we enjoyed the walk. There was a nearby tram stop that could also easily get you there.

Would have LOVED a decent size towel that covered the body - they only provide small waist towels For this price one should get a dressing gown and slippers. A kettle with tea and coffee facilities A mini fridge would be a bonus. Hair conditioner for Ladies to match the shampoo.

If the weather is bad, the distance to the historic center is not small.

It is not too much to say that this is your home away from home. From the very first moment when you enter the building, a very friendly atmosphere welcomes you in. There is free filtered water and coffee all day long (sometimes even some home made lemonade), and the interior garden is ready to offer you a break from the busyness of the city. There are also some other snacks, tea or wine by glass that can be purchased if you would like to. All the staff members I have interacted with were very friendly and kindly answered all my questions. The room was very clean, the atmosphere was cosy and the bed really comfy. I only had breakfast in my last day there, as it was not included in the price I paid for the room, and it was really nice. I also appreciated that they offered me a discount for it. All in all, I had a great experience, it is a place I would highly recommend and it will be for sure my choice for my next trip to Brussels! Thank you to the MIL team for making me feel at home!

I liked everything about this hotel: the cleanliness, the location, the kindness of the staff and all the small touches that made our stay a perfect one. I especially appreciate the fact that the hotel offers free water. Beds were also very comfortable. Soap, body lotion and shampoo by Clarins. We were also lucky to have sunny weather and enjoyed a few mornings in the garden. Overall I would give it a 10/10 and would love to come back.
