The Langham Hotel, Boston

All the staff we interacted with were very friendly and welcoming. Rose who works in the club lounge was extremely gracious in accommodating us and made our stay a special one. Lounge was such a pleasant place to grab a bite or sit and relax while enjoying the view. We loved the loft suite. The bed was very comfortable and the layout gave our party lots of privacy. Location is very convenient... only 8 minutes to the South Station by foot or short walk to many restaurants and destinations.

Just one minor thing... they placed a box of kleenex tissue in only one place next to the downstairs TV, in fixed holder. We found this location to be not very convenient. Wish they would supply tissue in the bathrooms as well.

Great ground floor bar - easy menu for those who have eaten out for lunch and just want one medium dish for dinner. Nice wines by the glass - generally a good bar with live music on certain days and good atmosphere. Very tastefully decorated rooms; neutral with calming hues and not overdone. I know the shower room could be a little bigger but I find this the case with a lot of US city hotels but in the case of the Langham, the decoration and cleanliness was superb and the shower room was perfectly functional. The beds are pretty good - a little on the hard side. I felt very much at home and came and went comfortably. My partner used the gym and pool and whilst not very big, it was well lit and a nice extra for those who need some exercise whilst away but don't like jogging in the street. I used the car valet service which was excellent. The hotel is well connected to get to the roads which lead you out of Boston to the airport and other parts of MA. Lovely staff and a big shout out to Saleem in the reception team, thanks for your attention. We felt at home here.

It was nice on the 8th floor but we were in the slanted glass bit so not much to see. Lifts were a bit slow in the mornings but that happens in a lot of hotels at checkout time. In any case, we did not take this hotel for the views but perhaps next time would be nice to get a room in the main floors which probably have higher ceilings - but it was not an issue. Maybe would have been nice to have lunch in the bar but it does not open until later.

Everything was perfect from a to z: the warm welcome by Eddy at the valet, the front desk efficiency, the room ready before standard check in time, the comfort and cleanliness of the room, the waiters at the Fed restaurant… we unfortunately had to shorten our trip and the front desk was very understanding and did not charge us any cancellation fee. We travelled with 2 service animals, the hotel is very pet friendly. We definitely love all the Langham hotels

Very well positioned to walk to everything that we wanted to see on our short trip to Boston. The staff were very friendly and the rooms were very clean.

The guy Marco who served in the Fed was fabulous and made the experience special- he is a great credit to the Langham. The blonde , Eastern European house keeper( working on the 3rd floor) was very friendly and helpful. ( Sorry, I didn’t get her name) Quality staff! The pool and gym.

The wifi in the gym wasn’t working. A rowing machine would be great!

The hotel is an extremely attractive renovation of the old Federal Reserve Bank building. Our room was very comfortable and well appointed. The staff is friendly and helpful. We dined at The Fed for dinner twice and had breakfast in Grana. Both restaurants had great food and service. Grana is stunning. Perhaps one day they will offer dinner there in addition to breakfast and lunch. It’s a short ride to the airport and walk to South Station and very convenient to the financial district.

Absolutely everything about The Langham was exceptional from the moment we arrived until the moment we left.

Minibar not filled. Room service Menu was very Basic and overpriced wine Menu. No Nespresso Machine. Coffee capsules were not flavorful. Should have Nespresso Range to cater to international travelers who are not into long diluted American Filter coffee but prefer quality Italian Espresso.

The location, the service and the cleanliness of the room and hotel were impeccable.

The water in the tub/shower was not hot. It was lukewarm at best. It was a real downer because we picked the coldest weekend of the season to visit Boston.

Pool is nice! Hotel is exceptionally beautiful and historic. Beds are super comfy and the food is great. Bathrooms are also really functional. Lots of thought put into textures and materials everywhere and it has a solid, full of integrity feeling.

We could have just taken a taxi or Uber, which probably would have been cheaper. The most important part is that when we tried to share our experience with the hotel concierge, they were not even interested in hearing us.

The Langham hotel is a jewel in the financial district. It is close to great restaurants and accessible by car, Lyft, Uber to Boston museums, the Boston Garden, and Symphony. The 40 foot pool, whirlpool, and sauna were such a treat!

Beautifully furnished, incredibly clean throughout. The pool and fitness centre were a huge bonus. The room was quiet, comfortable and had everything we needed.

The bar area felt quite exclusive/ posh. We would have preferred something more casual and relaxed. The lights in the room were a bit confusing to work and the system took a bit of getting used to.

The property was very clean and in a great location.

Lovely Decor. They had stunning artwork throughout the hotel. Staff were incredibly cordial and extremely helpful. The room was so comfortable. Loved every minute of my stay.

The location was perfect for us. We were able to walk to multiple place like restaurants and the piers. When we did take an Uber or Lyft to a restaurant, it was usually less than a 10 minute drive to get there.
