Very central location and easy to walk anywhere. Comfortable rooms and very kind and friendly staff.

The room was a bit tiny but we didn't mind at all it was cute, bed comfy, location really good and staff very nice.

Would be nice to have a mat in the toilet and bathroom as floor was ice cold.

Efficient Friendly Comfortable Clean

This was our first visit to Bordeaux, we wanted to be fairly central. The location of this hotel is great, you can walk everywhere, the old centre, the river, even the City of Wine Museum although that was further than expected. The room was neat, and very quiet, the breakfast was a good continental spread, they bought top quality artisan gluten free bread for me as I am coeliac. The staff were delightful and there is a small private garage for parking your car.

The room was quite small, and the prices are fairly high, but that seems to be general in Bordeaux, dubbed little Paris.

Staff were great. The woman that welcomed me, was especially great. Super friendly - offered me a drink while I waited for my room. Location was great. Very quiet, but close to where I wanted to hang out.

Big cob web in my room. I didn't notice it the first day, but I noticed it the 2nd day. It was too high for me to reach, and I forgot to mention it to the staff the next day...it was there right to the end. Luckily there was no spider with it! ;-) While I liked the place, I think having someone around 24hrs would be great. My last night there was an issue. None of my power outlets were working. My lights worked and my A/C worked, but I couldn't watch TV, work the hairdryer (luckily I didn't need it), recharge my phone, and I was limited with how long I could use my laptop (needed it for work). My other issue is that my room was quiet at night, but it wasn't during the day. There was some staff room next to mine and people went in and out. It was a bit disruptive - but ultimately not a big deal. Small little thing, I am use to hotel doors locking automatically when I close them. My door was a fire door, so because of the hydraulic, closed very slowly, and you had to really pull to close it faster. The door did not lock after you closed it, and I am sure I had left it unlocked several times before I discover that it didn't lock. My fault for not checking, but it would be handy to be told this on check-in for future guests.

Very friendly welcome with a lot of good touristic information, nice breakfast with good selection. Very friendly staff. Room was very clean.

Very small … & were told we got an upgrade and bigger room! Be careful on the stairs, not for anyone with mobility issues.

The location in town, the room and bathroom, the friendliness of the staff. The breakfast was nice, coffee with fresh milk.

Availability of warm breakfast items but nice French continental breakfast. But was very nice overall.

We have no complaints about the hotel… Except we booked a taxi from the hotel for a short distance which was extortionate price!… less than 10-12 min journey was 35€!!!

Location is great if you are visiting the city center, very convenient to visit all the highlights that teh city offers, the hotel is an old building but well renovated. rooms are a bit small but confortable, very few rooms in this hotel. Very friendly staff and very helpful

Good location close to the centre but in a quiet side street. Compact and quirky retaining some original features. Rooms design oriented along clean Scandinavian lines.

Old original winding stairs might be a bit too steep for some guests.

There was a marathon the morning we left and we did not know about this. We were not informed by staff at the hotel either . We had to walk 1k to get our Uber as streets were closed. Thankfully we did not miss our flight.

Tricky stairs to negotiate with luggage although the lovely staff had our bags waiting for us in our room as we arrived quite early and had to leave our luggage Tiny room , but seems the norm in large French cities

Rooms are very tiny

This is a delightful little hotel in a good location. The staff couldn’t be more helpful. Our room was small but well equipped and had lots of storage and was perfect for 2 nights. The bathroom was surprisingly large.

There wasn’t much I didn’t like except it would be nicer if there was a proper area for breakfast and you didn’t have to order in advance.

the location and cleanliness is fantastic. it’s a a cool place in walking distance of good restaurants and the Center.

it’s an old converted property so some rooms are limited in size etc due to the building, but it’s well done and the location makes up for it for a couple of nights.

The location is very conviniently walking distance to bars, restaurant, center town. The receptionist is very helpful and friendly. We called the hotel prior arrivin asking for the iron and when we got into the room, the iron was already there.

If you are booking for elderly people, be aware that this hotel has no lifts. Ask for a ground floor room. I went with my elderly parents and they struggle to go up and down - specially with their bags. On the checkout I asked for help with the bags, and they went down with the luggage for us. The breakfast is a weird system. 12 euros per person but you need to tell them in advance what do you want for breakfast in the next day. And how many units. It’s not a buffet where you serve yourself with the amount you want. Everything is counted. Parking is just a garage with space for 3 cars. You will need to leave the key with them so they can manoeuvre the cars.

Rooms were nice and we'll appointed.

Staircase to rooms was a spiral narrow one. Wish it's mentioned on the property as it does not have an elevator and if you have anything besides a carryon bag u will struggle getting your bags up. And down those stairs.

Literally a five minute walk to the beginning of everything! The location is amazing. Stunning restaurants and shops very close. The hotel is down a very quiet road and was so quiet at night. Just perfect for exploring Bordeaux. The bed was so comfy and we had the best nights sleep.

Really sweet bijou place. Ancient walls and stair case. But - the carpet was pretty worn and stained in places.
