The location was good for getting around Bordeaux.

The room was nicely furnished and clean. Bed was very comfortable. Well located and within walking distance to shopping areas and eateries

Very comfortable and modern hotel. Location is great, just a few minutes from the city centre.

Breakfast selection was quite limited, and every morning several food items were already gone, even when we arrived as early as 9 a.m.

The interior and design of the whole hotel is hip and chic!! Although the rooms are on the small side (considering I have chosen the duplex suite). Vincent and Mathilde were standouts and very hospitable!

The hotel didnt feel like a 5 star hotel to me in terms of service. The staff size seemed insufficient for the hotel.

We arrived on Sunday and the restaurant is closed Sunday and Monday. Bar facilities are available. Alot of places are closed on these days

Amazing attentive staff who were there for us in every way. The rooms are very quiet and the breakfast is worth the charge. Really high quality bath fixtures and modern conveniences. The USB-C port by the bed is definitely a plus.

The decor not quite my taste and heavy on synthetic materials ... I was allergic to something. The location isn't the best, but it's not far from good restaurants and the center of town.

The hotel is modern, clean, cozy and well decorated. The rooms are well appointed and very comfortable. The location is good and very walkable to main attractions. I must commend the staff they are friendly, very helpful and always willing to assist. Special recognition to Ottavio the Concierge. He was so attentive and assisted us with planning tours to St. Emilion chateaus and dining recommendations. Thank you, Ottavio!!

Very friendly staff in reception and valet service for car parking was appreciated. Spotlessly clean and comfortable room. Good location with short walk into the main Bordeaux centre.

Whilst appreciating this was a 5* hotel, we thought the breakfast price of 29EUR per person to be excessive, given it was a typical buffet style - even the table arrangement was not ideal in that the bar area was re-purposed rather than having a separate dining room with normal tables. This was not helped by us misinterpreting that the price we had paid included breakfast which we queried with Booking.com customer services. Our room was not overly large given it was an Executive Double and the lack of towel rails was disappointing. Whilst known about in advance, we also thought that being charged 35EUR per night to make use of the car park was pretty expensive. We were also unfortunate that on the last night of our stay we were awoken by the fire alarm which was not handled particularly well by the staff on duty, given on return to our room the alarm went off a second time. No real apology was received for this.

It had all the conveniences and was recently renovated.

Brilliant staff, beautiful hotel, great breakfast, and Madam B that is part of the hotel has amazing chef, so dinner is also yummy! Staff.. Just made all great, really. To tell you that we were leaving the hotel before breakfast and lady at reception made us sandwiches and put some cakes for us so we have something on the way to airport. I was just amazed with people working there and how thoughtful they were all the time.

Pressure in the shower is the only thing that was annoying as it drops so much that you can hardly take a shower, but still.. It is brilliant place to stay!

Too expensive. The overnight car parking charge was out of line. It was a little bit of a hike to the old town.

Fabulous location on the edge of the commercial centre which is all pedestrianised. The hotel is walking distance to the cathedral and the opera although we went on an insanely hot day so 15/20 minutes in the sun was harder than normal. The suite we booked was comfortable and, as we travelled with our 12 year old son, we used the lounge area as his sleeping quarters. The staff came in at 1830 to make his bed up so we could benefit from the lounge throughout the day. There were thick curtains to offer the bedroom and the lounge area privacy which we don’t often experience when travelling as a family of three. We have a 12 year old so he also enjoyed the privacy these afforded. Booking a suite also means that without additional cost you can book the private cinema which we did. We couldn’t get our app working but did stream ‘fast and furious x’ (not our normal choice of movie I might add but good for our son) through our Netflix account (don’t forget to logout when you have finished) and seated on one of the sofas with feet on footstools, us three enjoyed the cinema in comfort while the sounds of cars skidding on tarmac rebounded around the cinema. I would imagine the space would comfortably seat 30 people so, with drinks in hands we felt very decadent. The staff made all the difference. The front desk staff were excellent and greeted us on our very early arrival with ‘your room is ready’ always a wonderful thing to hear, but also went on to explain everything we needed to know with warmth and charm. Our server in the restaurant for lunch was attentive and the same server at breakfast came to tell our 12 year old the potatoes were replenished, much to our sons delight. The woman behind the bar who served our drinks and helped to set up the cinema experience with her colleague was friendly and charming and as a result of our conversation we are determined to visit Reunion. All in all a comfortable and pleasant experience with some highlights.

The only thing I wasn’t keen about about the room was the separate toilet (took us a little while to locate behind the entry door to the suite) with no sink in the room.

It was beautiful clean, the staff were absolutely wonderful nothing was too much trouble.

The staff were lovely, super friendly, welcoming and attentive. We were met by Dylan who took care of our bags and helped us with the room and a cot for our little boy. The reception staff were very helpful also and friendly making check in easy, quick. They were also very kind offering us water on our trip out for the day / car journey. The cinema, whilst we didn't use it we looked in and it was very comfortable and welcoming. Bar staff were also very professional, helpful and kind

We had a wonderful stay here, as soon as we arrived we felt relaxed as the staff were so amenable. In particular, Romain, introduced us to the property and was a friendly face, extremely helpful with advice and very professional. Our car was taken straight to the valet parking, a luggage trolley was provided and the check in was seamless. This was the same when leaving. Our room was beautifully decorated, a lovely message left by the manager to welcome us as it was our honeymoon. We loved the bar area and enjoyed talking to Quentin, the friendly and fun barman. Overall it was a superb place to stay and we would definitely return.

It was a little expensive - however we stayed in the height of summer and it was worth the extra expense.
