I really like the hostel, it is different from others and I enjoyed it

I just didn’t like too much the bed: no room for my feet as they are blocked and the pillow was meh

Every thing, but l don’t like a few.

I think it is need more clean, especially l stayed a week with the same blanket. Little bit noisy. Tv it is not found in a whole hostle.

The room is very spacious and space between each bunk bed is huge. Room is very clean and staff from front desk are very nice and helpful all the time. The location although will be around 20 minutes from most of the tourist point, but there is not many souvenir shops and tourists around that district. Felt so quiet and not crowded.

The only bad thing is the socket is far away from the top bunk bed. There is only usb wall socket for top bunk bed and better prepare one for it~

There is not much social space in the hostel, other than a small bar. There was karaoke one night but the hostel can definelty use more social events.

Clean, spacious, comfortable and quiet in the rooms! Very close to the city centre and the neighborhood has everything you need! Great hostel! Definitely worth it if you are enjoying hostels!

Room smelt of damp so had to have window open all the time meaning I didn't sleep great.

Very friendly staffs. I stayed at this hostel in 2015 and, after 10 years, I came back! Nice to know cozy hostel with great location. I will certainly come back in the future.

The location is ideal, in the center of things and with great transport connections. Outdoors it is noisy and bustling. Indoors it is quiet and relaxed.

The elevator is very slow.

Super social atmosphere, staff were very kind and helpful and the bar staff downstairs were simply the best! Perfect hostel to help you experience the infamous nightlife that Berlin has to offer.

Great value for money for travelers — stylish, safe, and friendly, with a great location. I shared the room with students and even had a small balcony!

I really liked the activities! Such as the karaoke night! You can meet new people here really easily en they offer a lot of different activities. The people at the desk are also really helpful and you have everything you need af the hostel. You van also warm up your own food, there is a nice seating area and there’s also a bar. Right across the street is a 24/7 supermarket so that’s also really convenient. I also felt really safe as a woman around the hostel. I really recommend this hostel especially for young (solo) travellers!

Great staff, very spacious bedrooms, centrally located, good bathrooms. Great events, went to one on the Friday night that does an overview of clubbing in Berlin which was very interesting.

No curtains on the beds does hinder the privacy, and loft can take a while to come down so I’d recommend using the stairs on the way down when u can

The bar in the basement was definitely a highlight - good vibes, fair prices & friendly staff.

The breakfast buffet could offer some more options.

Good priced hostel staff super friendly all understand we English so the language isn't a problem there's plenty to do and everything you need for what you want to do in Germany.

Can't really fault much the pillows wasn't the best but I can over look that

Friendlz and supportive staff, cleanliness, and great location.

Big rooms, comfy beds that don’t shake when someone climbs up, and big clean showers and toilets. Everything was super clean. They even have their own brewery, which is amazing! The bar is great too, with fun events like karaoke (the one I tried). Staff were really friendly and the location is perfect, super close to the city with loads to do around.

Great place to stay

It's good to have the option to buy the breakfast there. The staff was super nice, the karaoke night was great and we met a lot of people. People in our room were respectful and everything was always clean(bathrooms, rooms, showers) even though it was shared in between rooms, which is great and somehow uncommon in hostels. Great stay!

Front desk staff members were friendly and helpful :)) Located in a pretty neighborhood and I enjoyed just sitting in a lobby or in the room to watch people go by the crossing in front of the hotel.

absolutely great location but at the same time you better not be easily affected by traffic noise while trying to sleep. the big b is a buzzing city.

Nice sleeping bunks, with really friendly stuff and a activities on every night of the week keeps you involved in something to pass your time and socialise.

Check in was easy and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Had events on to meet other guests. Very good location and can walk to many places around the neighbourhood.

The rooms got very hot at night - luckily there were 2 electric fans in the room but it could still get a little unpleasant. We wouldn't open the window at night either as it was right on the main road and so quite noisy if we did.

At this visit I stayed in two hostels in Berlin. Circus was definitely the one I will come back. The room is spacey and clean. The communal space is great and stylish. Staff are friendly and enthusiastic. The location is also good----close to Metro (U8), walking distance to several main attractions (1-1.5 km), and a lovely neighbourhood of great bakeries and cafes. They also give u a coupon for a testing of their crafted beer.

Noise of roommates----no blame on the hostel

It’s a super big hostel, the rooms are really nice super big nice view, really close to a subway station, the showers are several and really good, the people helping are super nice, also when you arrive or leave there is a huge locker room to leave your belongings.

The breakfast buffet was small and not much to eat.

The rooms and the whole place was spotless clean and quite new looking. My dorm room was spacious and had tall mirrors which I haven't seen in other hostels. I liked that toilets and showered were separate so I could find a free one anytime. Didn't have any issues with WiFi.

My room was facing the main road and the window was open to let in cool air but also could hear the loud traffic outside. I don't think it's much of a social hostel and didn't have a suitable lounge area to meet other backpackers.

Facilities and location

Staff was okay, but they are not warm enough to make you feel welcome.

While there is a common room downstairs, for such a big hostel, it needs more spaces to socialise as people tend to convene in dorms before going out, which becomes a real imposition for people trying to sleep. Love the social party vibe, but there needs to be more communal spaces for 80+ dorm rooms

Huge dorm rooms with big lockers, tidy and clean, comfy beds, nice downstairs area to hang, front desk are lovely. On top of a metro station and main tram stop (this is super loud so bring earplugs) and walkable to a park/supermarket and lots of food options.

Was incredibly hot in the rooms during summer (would be fine in the cooler months!).

The staff is great, everything was always clean and the location was really good. There’s a subway in front of the hostel, but yet you’ll be close enough to walk to the main points of the city. Would stay here again for sure.

The room seems to be very prepared for winter, but not for summer. There’s a heater but no ac, and the small fan on the room wasn’t enough for 30C at night. The electric plug was far from the bed and it didn’t allow me to move the fan to a better location :(

Very good breakfast, good staff, good bar, very well maintained, shower was clean and in good working order and the bed was comfortable. It's definitely a party hostel, but the guests were mature enough to be good roommates.
