Defect shower, we had to move to another room mid of the evening, expensive breakfast but poor, no coffee machine in the rooms, premium room was not equipped with a bathtube as described in the pictures. All in all not recommended.

It is a 5 star hotel and they did not even take the time to answer my questions. Too bad.

Beautiful old home and great space. Staff was very kind and helpful. Spa was relaxing. Breakfast was delicious. Suite had separate space for our son. On site parking.

Exemplary welcoming and hospitality from monsieur Levon. We haven’t felt so well taken care of in a very long time, if ever. The room was classy and incredibly spacious and the overall cleanliness was flawless, something rare these days, it could not have been better. The on-demand scrambled eggs and omelette at the breakfast buffet egg station were prepared in perfection from the talented, kind and smiling chef. Can't remember having a better omelette in my life. The Christmas decoration was elegantly beautiful.

Large, comfortable room, quiet, leafy location but just 5 min drive to Kudamm. Great for kids, with a swimming pool and other families staying to make friends.

More food choices on bar and room service menue would be even better.

The spa and pool was closed which was annoying as it was part of the reason for booking this facility to begin with. Also personally I love my privacy while using the toilet, so having a bath in the middle of the room is great. Having a toilet with a see through door that doesn't block anything.. not so much.

We liked everything about the place really , but we would have liked more choice for evening meals.

The rooms were stunning. We felt very comfortable. We enjoyed walking into town and seeing all of the lovely homes in the neighborhood.

Beautiful hotel, nice bar and good food

We didn't get the room we booked and was moved twice before it was comfortable. Water in the shower in all rooms was very poor, either ice cold or boiling hot and very difficult to control with low flow.

It would have been nice to have a kettle with tea facilities in the room. children with a giant inflatable in the swimming pool, surely not allowed.

The room is very confy and good looking, the bathroom is large and very clean.

The room is smaller than the size that appears on the site The spa was not working and they did not announce it in advance. Moreover, they kept telling us that the spa will be opened in two days...After 7 nights, it was still not opened.

They started doing construction at 7am. Pool was closed for other construction.

The recent ban of dogs in the park area is counterproductive and is hardly making anything better in anyway. If listed as a pet-friendly hotel, stay pet friendly.

Fabulous breakfast and breakfast room. Beautiful setting, location and gardens.

Noisy events going on after midnight in the gardens. The setup takes all day, so hotel guests can't use the garden when there is an event. No coffee/tea making facilities in the room - the hotel provides them on request, but then it's just a kettle and nescafe equivalent. The food menu is limited and overpriced.

Very romantic and luxurious hotel close to Grünewald. The interior is decadent while comfortable at the same time. It's also very quiet and you wake up to the sounds of birds. Perfect for a lovely weekend getaway. Can recommend taking a walk in the forest which is just a 10-min walk away.

Some bathroom facilities look slightly worn out but it's not a big deal at all.

Beautiful residential area, a short walk to a fabulous park and lake. The terrace and gardens are stunning. Lovely live singer, Zoe, on Friday evenings. The staff were professional and helpful.

A loud event in the gardens - the setup and event went on from early morning with loud music still playing at 10 pm. Impossible to have an afternoon nap or to sleep early and the gardens were not accessible either. It would have been nice to have a coffee machine in the room.

Didn’t like the aperitif (champagne rose) for 32 Euro each without mentioning the price

The interior design is amazing as well as the breakfast.

Staff was arrogant, both in the bar and reception. We got really surprise for the status of the hotel to be treated this manner with unprofessional jokes like "sweet 16 suite, no one can hear you there" and at the bar "we don't sell sweet wine" when I mentioned that preferred wine that were not sweet, yet Port or dessert wine could be well good quality and sweet. I felt that treatment wasn't professional enough for the standard of the hotel.

Lovely location. Beautiful, clean, and well-maintained facility. Great staff, they exceeded expectations! Room service was quick, and drinks from the minibar were complementary (1 beer + juices + water). The room was quiet (no noises). They also provided bowls for my dog. Breakfast was good quality-wise, however, adding more options would have been even better.

Being a 5-star hotel, I would have expected at least to find a kettle or a coffee machine in the room as well as better welcome snacks - there was literally only one canned pickle as a welcome snack + water. The amenities were missing a few items - toothbrushes and hair conditioner. The heaters were off when I checked in, which left the room very cold. Again, being a 5-star hotel, these are details that do make the difference and should be given attention to. Finally, the spa area was nice, but there was no option to swim separately from kids (there is only one small pool for all the guests) which made the experience not as pleasant and relaxing.

Room was very nice. Location is not in the heart of the city but in a very nice residential area. Breakfast was good.

the free WiFi internet was terrible, if you needed something better you had to pay for it. No tea and coffee amenities in the room, and room services opens at 7 am, however the lady in the restaurant was always kind enough to make me a coffee at 6 am while they were setting the restaurant, No easy access to plug in a mobile phone or a laptop on the desk or next to the beside. the room was to small, the TV was partially hidden in a corner and no English channels.

The property was stunning! the whole place has been looked after really well and it’s superb for a short or long stay. the breakfasts were yummy! staff were very friendly and helpful looking after your requests.

After coming back from the pool I couldn’t get back into the room. it was around 3pm. I didn’t have my clothes etc housekeeping tried to open the electronic locks but it didn’t work! It was snowing so understandably very cold! I was more concerned for my boyfriend who has type one diabetes and his medication was inside as well as his blood testing kit. We were given another room and thankfully could shower and tried to keep warm! We were informed it would take an hour so ordered lunch but no update. After a two hour wait I rang reception to be informed they couldn’t get hold of the engineer. I explained my boyfriend’s medical situation but the guy at reception did not understand or empathize fully! After another hour I rang again to be told all was fixed and they’d tried ringing or knocking on my door! Nobody had been in touch! We tried the room and we could not get in! the same electrical issue again! The engineer had to be called out again! Another hour passed! I suggested this time they escorted us into the room once it was opened! It would have been gracious to provide complimentary food or drinks rather than make us pay for the meal in the other room as we had food and drinks in our room we couldn’t get too!

Beautiful main building, amazing pool, spa and steam room. Outstanding breakfast. Opulent decor. Surrounded by wonderful villas and close to forest and lakes.

Its not for those who use public transport. No tea/coffee facilities in the room. Available if you call room service. Its for people used to having staff. We weren't in the main building.

room need to be updated, smell old and dust, carpet is super old, the curtain in the bathroom is from the 90s, there are almost no sockets (there is nowhere to connect a computer, telephone), there was no pen / pencil in the room. no towels in the changing room in spa zone. rest is fine

gardens need maintenance. breakfast was average and poor value (45E pp). Area around the pool was very slippery and even being very careful, my wife fell twice. We told the hotel to lay a nonslip layer over the marble floor. Rooms should include a coffee machine. a function on one night went to 0300 with loud music: unreasonable after 2400 for this hotel.

Room was very good size perfect design. Personal was very helpful.

The rooms on the ground floor were sensational. They are intricate, detailed, and tastefully decorated. Definitely a highlight of our stay. Also, the outdoor area is very tranquil and a nice place to sit and relax. The pool area is also lovely. The receptionists were also very welcoming.

The vegan / vegetarian options for breakfast were poor. I had fruit and coffee. When I specially requested a vegan breakfast on day 2, I was served some sliced raw veg (radish, cucumber, tomato and avo). Most hotels offer at the least beans, mushrooms, roast tomatoes. None of this was available. The bedroom was also a little dated.

we had unpleasant experience, when I was taking shower and the shampoo on my hair, the water stoped in the shower, so we had no water in the room for almost 45 minutes, and the service in the restaurant not good at all, the stuff very slow and they have less experience, and they made an awful mistake with my wife birthday

for a hotel of that calibre we would have expected better service room a little worn and tired looking (carpet, fixtures) glass corridor between main building and bedroom pavilion not waterproof with lots of rainwater inside garden not taken care of - needs a little TLC, but basic substance is very beautiful

We truly enjoyed our stay at the Schlosshotel Patrick Hellman. A stylish room, the level of facilities one would expect from a hotel like this including a nice outdoor terrace and a large garden, a spa and indoor swimming pool. Friendly and helpful staff and an excellent breakfast. The location is great also for outdoor activities; we rented bikes at the reception and used them to enjoy the many forest tracks and scenic views in the area.

Work in progress at the hotel; some of the furniture, fittings, fixtures and styling elements at the Schlosshotel were a bit outdated. It provides the charm equivalent to a classic car, and sometimes requires a bit of patience. Unfortunately the hotel restaurant was closed during our stay.

I really love the location, the unique design of the whole hotel and every single room. Breakfast is absolutely amazing, it includes eggs, cheese, fruits, selection of vegan food and milk, fresh bakery.

The only thing I miss in the room is an opportunity to boil some water and have a cup of hot tea any time I want. Providing a kettle in a room is mandatory for a 5 stars hotel to my mind.

The property is stunning, the design/decor is very entertaining. The room is comfortable and the location suited us well. Delicious breakfast and excellent cocktails at the bar. The swimming pool is beautiful and long enough for a few laps.

Service is hit and miss. Everyone was amiable and helpful but we were not acknowledged for over 5 minutes when we arrived. The same happened the next morning when we tried to have breakfast. Maybe the pandemic getting in the way? Nevertheless, the hotel is outstanding and we prefer to focus on the positives.
