Honestly, one of the best hostels in Berlin. The staff is amazing, super friendly, and always helpful. It’s always my first choice whenever I’m in Berlin. The hostel is very clean and well maintained, and it’s also a great place to socialize and meet new people to hang out with. The location is perfect, surrounded by supermarkets, bars, cafés, and restaurants, so everything you need is just a few steps away.

Amazing place with lovely stuff!!! Great location and very clean space. It's the perfect place to stay especially if you're traveling solo - you can meet a lot of friends here! I will definitely stay here next time.

Its really hard to think about it, because there is nothing bad about this property!

If you look for a hostel in Berlin - look no further. These guys are amazing.

Location is great, 2min walk to the metro station. Bed is clean and comfy and bathroom is nearby. Free water and free coffee, there are lots of facilities.

The sink could be equipped with hand dryer or paper towels to dry hands and sometimes the sink / mirror area can get crowded when girls are there to do the make-ups.

Reasonably close to Berlin HBF (takes 20 minutes on the 12 tram from the hbf) and close to a Lidl grocery store (5-10 minutes on foot). What stands out the most at this hostel are the very friendly staff/volunteers who organize different events for the hostel guests which definitely was a plus in being able to socialize with many different people at the hostel and to experience group activities. Hot running water and private shower room at either end of the hallways on each floor. Hair dryers at each bathroom was honestly so appreciated. The bunk beds were very comfortable and much sturdier than some other ones I've previously experienced. Kitchen area with a fridge available for use. Luggage storage room to hold your luggage after checking out was super great.

The shower and bathrooms could be cleaner. Towels are not free and only available for rent for 2 euros. I wish there were some additional chairs in the room for sitting in.

The air was kind of stuffy at night. I didn’t try it, but opening a window might’ve helped.

It was clean, the mattress was comfortable and the bedding seemed new. No bed bugs. There are chargers next to the bed on a little shelf. Besides people leaving in the morning, it was not noisy. I stayed in the female-room. The staff were persistently friendly, which was nice and made the stay more human. It was colourful and not depressing, nor dirty, like some hostels. The price was great, I would return there. They also had a water fountain and free tea/coffee. WIFI works.

The one annoying thing is that the bathrooms have no paper towel, nor a hand dryer, I did expect that I needed to bring a hand towel.

Everything, everyone was a legend who was working there and met a great bunch of people. Can be chill and do your own thing or join the other travellers and have a great night. One of the best hostels I stayed at. Beds are so comfy too.

The hostel social activities, free cereal, kind and social guests

Loved my stay here - this was my first time visiting Berlin and East Seven really felt like a little home away from home. I stayed here for 8 days (with a split in the middle as they don't allow long stays) and I'd absolutely come back - there's so much opportunity to socialise but also to just chill out if that's what you prefer. The staff are all super approachable and go out of their way to host social events almost every evening. The dorms were comfortable and clean - really nothing to complain about for the price! Location is also nice, you do have to travel to get to the city centre, but there's plenty food and shopping options a short walk away as well. Lidl and Rewe are both really close by and the hostel kitchen is perfect for making a meal and storing food. Overall just a really great little hostel!

The atmosphere and people are like nowhere else!

Good location, bright, clean, relaxed atmosphere. Plenty of space in the common rooms to eat, or lounge. Secure storage for luggage under the bed (bring your own locker). Special mention to the staff who was extremely kind, accommodating and helpful!

The staff was friendly, although not all the volunteers even said hello. But the staff and volunteers helped when I needed help. At first I felt bad when I asked for help, but in the end it was good.

Curtains on the bed would have been lovely. I couldn't find all my food in the fridge, what was put in there.

Full kitchen (including an oven), female-only bathrooms, friendly staff, temperature of radiators can be adjusted, beds are made up for you, comfy beds, great shower pressure

There was no way to dry hands in the bathroom (paper towels or an air dryer would be good)

The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the staff was super nice and friendly! I loved the organized activities every evening to meet new friends and have fun! Also the position is great, just 10 minutes walk from Mitte.

Some guests were not really respectful of common spaces such as bathrooms, leaving them not clean as they found, but it doesn't depend on the staff.

The staff is amazing and there with you to the end. They also organize events in certain times. The hostel itself is homey and cosy. Especially the backyard is good for chillin’.

The free Sunday dinner was delicious and I was glad I could have seconds. The room and bathroom were clean and comfortable. I wish I could have stayed longer. This was the best guesthouse I've ever stayed at.

This hostel is definitely worth the money. First of all it has a great location, close to the metro station and only a 15-minute walk to Alexanderplatz. It’s equipped with all the necessary facilities and anything a guest might need. The room was cleaned every day and the staff were super friendly and helpful. I will definitely stay here again on my next trip.

The Wi-Fi connection quality could be improved, but overall it was still good.

Atmosphere, but to some point. Comfortable mattress. The kitchen is perfect, the most equipped kitchen I even saw in hostels. Music in the kitchen. Free coffee in mornings.

Hostel organizes events, but they are too fussy for me. Also stairs to 3rd floor were too steep. So almost nothing bad, just my personal subjective feelings.

Cute private room, would stay again.

I loved how close its to the public transport, loved organised evening activities, which made guests get together. Its was my first hostel stay, I will repeat it and come back in the future🫶

The soap canisters in showers didn’t have soap/shampoo in them, but nothing major.

The rooms were very comfortable and the staff were very friendly. They were very helpful with everything and extremely accommodating. Public spaces were also very comfortable, clean, and well-kept.

On a scale of 1-10, I give EastSeven a 12! The staff is fantastic. The cleanliness is amazing. The location is excellent. I ate breakfast every morning at Impala, where the staff, food, and atmosphere are wonderful. The Americano coffee is excellent! Twice during my five-night stay, I ate at the Vietnamese restaurant, Lua, also 300 feet from the hostel. Excellent food. There is a bus stop 700 feet from the hostel, but a nice walk will take one to the Central Train station, which is a huge public transportation nexus. EastSeven should be your choice for a Berlin stay if you need a low-cost accommodation.

Good location. 10 min from centre on bus. Reasonably priced. Cornflakes/tea/coffee were included for breakfast😜

Shower toiletries were empty. I’d install paper towel next to bathroom sinks otherwise you have to take your towel with you for washing your face or anything else

I loved this hostel! It was clean, very updated and had a great atmosphere. The beds were far enough apart that it didn’t feel crowded. The free morning coffee was nice as well. Also, they were very accommodating and moved me to a lower bunk as I injured my knee before my trip. All in all a wonderful stay!

The only downside was one of the other hostel guests snored all night & was making lots of noise at odd hours, shining lights, crunching chips, etc. But this is of course not the fault of the hostel :)

Everything was amazing! The staff is super friendly and helpful. There are fun activities happening every day, and plenty of spaces to just relax or hang out with others. Lots of clean, well-maintained bathrooms. The showers are perfect. The rooms are spacious with comfortable beds, and the location is excellent.

Perfect location in Berlin, safe and close to many restaurants and cafe. Hostel is friendly, super clean and comfortable. I had a great time and I would definitely consider it again for my next trip!

I would only recommend considering adding even a super small desk in the room.

Very nice hostel with lovely people working there.

No air conditioning which was hard during the summer. Besides that everything was great.

I think it was the most social hostel I’ve ever stayed in. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The common areas the lounge, kitchen, garden, and relaxing zone make you feel right at home. Every evening they organize different activities, and if you have time, I’d highly recommend joining them. If you come to this hostel, there’s a high chance you’ll want to stay longer , so plan to take a few extra days if you can!

The room I stayed in was quite small for four people, and there was no chair or place to sit
