EastSeven Hostel, Berlin

Top Location, great staff! Special thanks to Gaspard who sent me my wallet back to Hamburg after I left it at reception on check out. Fun activities through the week.

- Outside area closes at 10pm, most likely due to neighbours. Still not ideal especially if you come home after clubbing and just want to chill with some fresh air.

Its really cozy, well organized and you feel like home. There's also suggestions to go spend evenings together at some place everyday and it really brings people together. The staff is also most amazing out of all stays I've ever had (no exaggeration)

It's a great hostel in a nice part of town. It's easy to meet people. They organised a dinner and a night out to a bar. There is a kitchen to do some cooking, there's a common area to hang out and talk to people and there's a nice garden to sit in. Overall a great experience in Berlin!

Maybe curtains to close off the bunk bed.

Friendly and informative reception. Nice small room. I had my highest quality of sleep in hostels here. Nice shower and other communal space. Nice social vibe.

Service and vibes was great!

High quality hostel with mostly cheerful and educated guests and international staff. The neighborhood was trustworthy you can feel safe as solo traveler. 8 min walk tram, 10-15 walk for u bahn stations. Mauer park, museum insel is close enough for a big city. Both old school and new generation bars around; lots of theatre shows around 1km, super and mini markets around.

Senefelder platz u bahn station is underconstruction so i walked a bit more. It would be better to check and if necessaary change the soap plastic box. And disenfection liquids are empty. By the way bathrooms were always 9 or 10/10 clean in anytime so didnt worry at all

I am a standup comedian and stayed there for 5 nights cause I had shows in Berlin. It was amazing, perfect position and staff was all so kind! I met many nice people and had great chats. The common areas are so beautiful and the whole place is clean and comfortable. Great kitchen with everything you need and the shared dorm was comfy. Bathrooms were always nice and clean. Thank you so much! I´ll be back <3

Everything was amazing! The bathrooms were very clean even the mixed bathrooms, the location is perfect, I did everything by walking but the train is close, the staffs are very friendly!

The room was quite small for 4 people.

- clean - you can do party if you want but also chill out and so it’s very quiet - beds are super comfy - nice outdoor area - a small breakfast for free (cornflakes, musli, tea, coffee) - staff very nice - close to underground and tram station although you can walk to a lot of things - one of the best hostels I stayed

Was upgraded from a 10 to a 4 bed room that played beautifully with the Half Marathon plans. After the race I was able to come in for a shower and chill after checkout, crucial for debriefing the body after the race. Shower was suspiciously good.

Loved the free breakfast option. Great social area and fun events each night.

very friendly staff, especially they took time to show me around, kinda like an "onboarding". what i love about this hostel is that the people are very friendly and open. we had such a good time. the hostel helped a lot to connect us by having events in the evening. it doesnt matter where u travel, what matters the most is what people u met. this hostel definitely fullfilled my expectation :)

nothing really that was not ok. i mean there is always something to improve (e.g. pricing etc...) but overall, i am very satisfied with everything!

The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, moreover, they organize free and very nice events every evening to bring the guests together. It is a lot easier to connect with the other guests and the staff and make some friends on the way.

All rooms are on the upper floors and there is no elevator, so this place is not suitable for people with mobility issues.

Super nice staff (which are travelers as well) which organize social events all week long. Proximity to transports and a beautiful 30k+ reviews kebab are a huge plus 😁

A hostel that makes me feel like home:) the staffs are super friendly and helpful. They’ll also organize some events every night . The room is pretty clean and the bed is very cozy! The whole atmosphere is very relaxing. I’ve been to many hostels but this one is definitely my favorite. I had a wonderful stay there!

Our stay at EastSeven was truly amazing! The staff were incredibly friendly and made the stay even more enjoyable. There are events on every night that allow you to socialize with other guests. The beds were super comfy, and the bathrooms were always clean. If we ever come back to Berlin, we are going to stay here!

The staff was helpful and nice. The location was super great. Overall it's the best hostel I went. Kitchen was super clean and tidy.

Just a few points to make a better expeience: The parquet floor in the room made noise when walking, waking up others. Water collects in the shower area of ​​the girl's bathroom when bathing.

I almost never say that but this, is AMAZING. I can talk about the cleanliness, the kitchen availability, the free cereal breakfasts in the morning etc. But the main thing is, it feels like a big happy family; with all the beautiful staff and visitors.

The outdoor terrace was fantastic, the property itself was in a great location, everything was kept very clean and I was very comfortable

It was the friendliest hostel I've ever stayed in. The employees were very friendly and helpful. If you want socialize with people you should choose this hostel.

Everything was perfect. I really enjoyed my time at the hostel, also thanks to the volunteers that organised an event every evening. It is located in a really nice area and with a 5-minute-walk you can reach the U-Bahn station.

Super friendly helpful staff, lovely atmosphere, great common spaces, would recommend to anyone travelling alone in Berlin and wanting to be in a hostel to meet new people

The hostel is only a 5 minute walk from the nearest tram station, and I felt safe in the area, even as a girl walking alone at night. The staff are really friendly and welcoming. The hostel has events every evening, a groupchat, and a nice guest kitchen and lounge area which make it easy to make friends! The rooms are pretty spacious and very clean, even the communal bathrooms.

I've had a great experience in EastSeven, the Hostel's personnel were very positive and helpful with a enthusiastic attitude, each night there was an event to do for the guests such as meals or games, rooms were spacious with individual storage, a nice cozy area in the garden with couches, overall it has the right vibes of how staying in a hostel should feel like.

The hostel is small, located in a residential area with a friendly and helpful staff. Hot water in the showers and comfy beds. Clean. Stayed in the 4-bed female dorm.Free dinner on Sundays. Close to local restaurants and shops. Easy to meet other travellers. The hostel has a WhatsApp group with recommendations and tips on what to do, where to eat etc.

The location was a bit off from Alexanderplatz. If you're into partying then it's a bit off. If you have big suitcases - no elevators, stayed on 3rd floor. Would've been nice with more hooks in the room to hang your towels, clothes etc. It took about 1,5 hours to/from the airport BER.

Really lovely hostel next to Senenfelderplatz U-bahn. Easily accessible from central Berlin. Lots of pubs, bars and restaurants nearby. Comfortable and well equipped communal areas. Very friendly guests, mainly in their 20s and 30s. I'm a solo traveller in my 60s but everyone was very welcoming and no one made me feel out of place. All the staff were very friendly, helpful and welcoming. I would stay here again without hesitation. Highly recommended 😁

My room could have done with some coat hooks to hang coats and jackets on, as it is not always convenient to place them on the bed or in the locker, particularly if it is raining outside.

Best hostel experience! Clean, welcoming and comfortable. Option for female-only rooms and bathrooms and use of a kitchen. Lounge & dining room. Events on every evening made it easy to meet other people and really made my trip! Staff really friendly. Bed was comfy and showers were good. Bed has a shelf with light & charging points (incl USB-C). Can hire towels for €2 and clothes for clubbing. Will stay again if back in Berlin

I loved the whole experience here. The hosts were very proactive in hosting events every night so it was a great way to always have something to do and meet new people. I felt very safe during the stay. It was also very clean and comfortable. Also loved that they had a water station! The location was well connected to all important spots and a lot of cool places in neighbourhood too.

I wish the towels were included with the stay. Didn’t want to pay extra for these.
