The rooms aren’t what you’d expect from a 5 star hotel. The carpets were a bit grubby and decor/furnishings felt outdated. Room was disappointing

The location is perfect. The swimming pool and spa below are marvelous. The staff are always cordial and efficient, with special attention to details such as a welcome bottle of Prosecco and a lovely Valentine’s cake…. The bar is cozy with the possibility of a light dinner with drinks. The pianist in the evening was very talented, thus very enjoyable!

Has everything you need in the best location in Barcelona

Location is wonderful. Close to many museums and landmarks. Hotel is clean and staff were accommodating, pleasant and friendly. We had a gorgeous and very comfortable room with a balcony of the city. We would definitely stay there again!

From the moment of arrival the atmosphere of the hotel is set by the team. The service is attentive, kind and genuinely personal. Professional without distance, close without ever being overly familiar. It is the kind of hospitality that feels natural and sincere. The Majestic has the character of a classic grand hotel and it is clear that the property is being progressively updated while preserving its identity. What really makes the place memorable, however, is the people. Because this is not a large chain with scripted interactions or strange incentive systems. What you find here is something much rarer today: a culture where attentiveness, kindness and genuine care are simply expected and practiced every day. And you can feel that it is real. The reception in particular deserves special recognition. The welcome was exceptional. It was attentive, thoughtful and genuinely warm. Honestly the best reception experience I have had in a luxury hotel in more than a decade, and I have stayed in quite a few. The spa is excellent and clearly part of the newer areas of the hotel, beautifully designed and very relaxing. The rooftop terrace is easily one of the best places in Barcelona to enjoy a drink, with excellent cocktails, beautiful views of the city and a wonderful atmosphere. Breakfast is also outstanding and easily among the best in the city. The awards it has received are fully deserved. But in the end what truly makes the Majestic special is the team. That kind of authentic hospitality is something you rarely find today and it elevates the whole experience.

The rooms, corridors and lifts are beginning to show their age and could benefit from a refresh (They are great but for the level of the property they are already calling for it). That said, the property is already in an update process which is awesome.

The size of the room is large if you compared to the other hotel in the same price range.

The service is absolutely incredible and the location is perfect. The rooftop restaurant is outstanding, and the waiters are extremely friendly and welcoming. The room was cleaned twice a day, which really shows the high level of care and attention to detail Everything was excellent

Majestic Hotel & SPA offers The Best breakfast , with the variety of the most delicious pastries, hot and cold items with the freshest ingredients. Also, if I wish I could give 10 star rating for Majestic Hotel guests service. From the entrance, concierge, front desk, breakfast, restaurant…. all go above and beyond to help the their guests. We already miss the staff , the beautiful Majestic Hotel in the city center and walking to the great shopping district.

We LOVED everything about this hotel, and highly recommended it.

Many thanks to the entire G/R team, the booking team, and the driver, Miquel Ubeda Soler. They were very attentive throughout my stay. The roommaids also did a fantastic job. This was my second visit and I’m thinking of coming back again. The room, especially the jacuzzi on the terrace, was wonderful.

The Smart TV when we tried connecting via chromecast glitches and was so very slow that we ended up using our laptop to watch the shows we wanted. Pity as I thought this wifi issue was fixed from previous reviews. We were out most days so it was not a big problem but for a 5 star hotel, this should be something that could be fixed easily nowadays.

Everything was excellent. The staff were extremely friendly, professional, and very supportive throughout our stay. The location was perfect — central, convenient, and close to everything, which made our trip very enjoyable.

The location was excellent … close to lots of different things. We didn’t try the breakfast or use the hotel services so can’t comment on that. Our stay was very comfortable and hotel staff was more than happy to help with anything we needed.

We were staying at the Residence apartments. It wdve been nice if the basic cleaning included the bathrooms as well. It only included making beds, changing towels and emptying bins.

That i had an incidence with room service, they were too late till 5 pm but the guest relation did the job to me but the question is why?

The room was nice and bed is comfortable. Hotel location was great.

The staff at the front desk is absolutely amazing and their hospitality is top level, specially Aleksija and Abdel.

The hotel was wonderful, and the staff were very friendly.

We had a minor issue with the room - the service team responded immediately to my simply survey answer and offered to change our room and extended additional care - very nice of them and amazing service

Be aware that you need to book your time in the pool in advance - which is great because you have an almost private pool and jacuzzi :)
