Hotel Praktik Bakery, Barcelona

The location is extremely good, which is just a few meters away from Gracias Street and Casa Mila, also very closed to many bus stops and underground stations. I haven't tried the breakfast, but I could smell it every morning when I woke up, which was really nice and attractive. The staffs are really friendly, providing us a lot of help.

The room was extremely small and had no closet space. It made it extremely uncomfortable.

Excellent location, close to Passeig de Gràcia, shops, restaurants and transportation. Waking up to the smell of freshly baked croissants and bread was special.

Pillows were too firm. Staff seemed indifferent. No real lounge area (the windowless internet “lounge” leaves one uninspired) to take a break or have a drink (except the bakery).

Location was great, very close to attractions and shops. One bad thing was that there was a constant noise in my room like a vibration and it woke me up at times. Couldn’t figure out where it was coming from but was disturbing for me.

Hotel situated above a bakery the aroma of which woke you up. The room was a bit on the small side and took a while to get used to the door opening into the bathroom area but was clean and comfortable. The shower was large and plentiful of hot water. The location was excellent to explore Barcelona and close to a Metro.

Well equipped room. Great to have the bakery on site - delicious savoury and sweet stuff on offer.

Only gripe was the bed was a bit firm and the whole thing moved a squeaked every time you moved.

Breakfast was fantastic. There was a great choice of food, although someone with celiac disease who also cannot eat dairy would probably struggle to find an option. I loved how quiet it was, despite being in the very heart of Barcelona. The staff were all positive and happy to help with any of our needs.

I can't think of anything that I didn't enjoy.

That a family room was available, the cafe is fantastic.

Water filling stations should be at each room level Also because the rooms are small. More hooks in the room to hang things would be convenient

Bakery food and coffee are great. Room was small but nice with good view of street and quiet. Shower was fantastic. Staff very courteous and helpful. Ordered a taxi through the front desk person and the driver was very nice.

An incredibly charming hotel in one of the best neighborhoods in Barcelona. Just over a block away from Casa Mila and La Rambla and easily walkable to tons of sites around town. Metro station is also very close making it easy to get anywhere. Our room was just above the bakery ovens so the room always smelled like fresh baked pastries, which was an unexpected but amazing bonus.

Rooms are very small, No kettle inside the rooms ( basic requirement). No tables or chairs inside the room

Great location. Clean room. Convenient breakfast with lovely backery just downstairs. No drinking water is served in the room, but there is a water dispenser in the common area, where you can get cold or hot drinking water. Huge and comfy bed.

Not recommended for business traveler. There is no desk in the room.

That breakfast wasn’t included, didn’t see this as an option at checkout. The room was too hot and the air con turns to standby after no time at all.

location, cleanliness

The location was great, it was on one of the streets leading to Passeig de Gracia. We walked to places like Casa Mila, Casa Battlo, Sagrada Familia easily.

Every morning we woke up to a strong dough/butter (I didn’t fully understand) smell in the room. Some people might like it but we didn't like it, we found it disturbing. It made us think there was a problem with the ventilation system. The wifi was not working on the first day, but fortunately the problem was fixed in the following days.

We can not put our things on a table or something. The smell of bread in the morning also wake us up.

Location was perfect, the rooms nice, superb shower and loved the smell og freshly baked bread from the bakery in the morning.

I liked the hotel, the staff was nice, the room was clean, the shower was perfect, the location, the bakery... all were nice and friendly :)

- Lift - There wasn't a kettle in the room, so to have a tea, I had to go up and down to get hot water.

The big bonus was the bakery downstairs. Food was great and we even packed and carried a big Christmas cake back all the way to India.

The room could have been bigger.

Good location in Eixample district, quiet and very good bakery on the ground floor. Good bars and tapas nearby.

Breakfast buffet for €14 was expensive, we just bought breakfast pastries and coffee from the bakery which was much cheaper.

The bakery under the hotel was so convenient and amazing at the same time. Best sandwiches.

Updated & modern room, comfortable bed, overlooks street, & on top of a bakery! We were able to have brkfst, lunch, or dinner there if needed. Close to metros & restuarants. We walked everywhere from Pratik.

The facility turned the AC controls off for our last 2 of 5 night stay. It was quite, quite warm @ night!

The localization of the hotel is perfect, close to city center and metro. The bakery downstairs is delicious to grab something for breakfast and to go.

The wifi was not working at all, safe in our room was broken. That was something strange with bed linen - was not closing.

Helpful, kind and patient staff. I liked that you could hang out at the cafe at any hour to work on laptop/read, etc. Everything was really clean and we felt safe.

Great location (really really really good!) both to get to El Gotico, but also nicely positioned respect to Gracia and for going towards Sants. Bed was HUGE, loved it! Also great room in general, I loved the shower. Staff was friendly too! Also fun Bakery on ground floor, could also work there in evening.

enjoyed a beautiful and very comfortable room in a very good location, not too central, therefore quiet. the shower is very good. The bakery at the entrance is amazing and opens at 07h30, so it's really covenient.

The room was very comfortable and the breakfast was excellent (a wonderful buffet). We were very pleased with the location as we were only a block away from relations who live in Barcelona. It was also excellent for the choice of local restaurants.

The only slight dislike was the view from our bedroom window which was a "brick wall" but the compensation was the comfort of the room.

It was mostly quiet, Bakery was yummy.

Air conditioning made a horrible rattling sound and the wifi was spotty.

Such a good location, very friendly & helpful staff. Would definitely recommend. I wanted an extra duvet which was promptly sorted out. The bakery is also delicious! The shower is spacious and the water hot and powerful! Perfect in winter.

I absolutely loved the bakery. Everything is freshly baked every day. When you wake up in the morning you can smell the baked goods in the hallways. The hotel is centrally located. The staff was extremely kind.

The room was not 100% clean.

The location is great , so close to all the attractions by foot. This hotel is a little gem. Great value for money and of course on top of an amazing bakery .. what more could you ask for. The rooms were very clean and functional, loved the shower.
