The hotel is in an excellent location, 5' on foot from the amazing La Pedrera, and 15' from the Sagrada Familia! Close to metro and endless options for food and drink. The room spotlessly clean and the staff polite and helpful in everything you need. Big advantage is the bakery on the ground floor, for a wonderful breakfast with many and delicious options.

The only negative that initially made it a bit difficult for us is that the room is quite small, and there are not many places to put your things, especially if you have organized a trip of several days.

Couldn’t be possible have a better location, been near to restaurants, shops, most of the main attractions, restaurants and touristic areas. The staff was very kind and gentle all the time. The bakery located inside the hotel is a plus.

The room is small and the where the bathroom/toilet are doesn’t guarantee the best experience.

The bakery on the ground floor was excellent. Staff taking orders were very pleasant and accommodating to spanish language attempts.

Fantastic location in the city! The bakery concept is unique and was wonderful. The hotel is charming and the perfect "meeting place" for our group.

Rooms are quite small - fine for a single traveler though.

The location is incredible — walking distance nearly all of the big attractions in Barcelona; close to a metro station as well. The shower was very warm and had great water pressure. Bakery downstairs is delicious for breakfast! Friendly and helpful staff at the reception desk.

Unable to control the air conditioner / heat from the room. It was a tad chilly out during our stay, so the hotel turned on the heat for all of the rooms. It is centrally controlled, so we could not adjust the temperature or change to A/C. It got a bit too warm for us at night. The staff were lovely and tried to assist, but unfortunately could not make an adjustment.

Excellent location

Delicious pastries, quiet, comfortable room. Good value for the price. Close to many attractions. Good transport, easy to get there with metro, Renfe and buses.

Everything was fantastic! The front desk girl was AMAZING—she was incredibly responsive and helped all the guests with a wonderful attitude. The bakery is exceptional; we especially miss the delicious cinnamon rolls! Walking distance to stores, Sagrada Familia, train station!

The staff were really nice and the bakery downstairs was amazing. Bath water was hotttt and comfortable. The location in absolutely perfect for tourists to go many famous spots by just walking.

The soundproofing is poor; I can hear water pipes throughout the night, and it’s easy to hear people passing by in the hallway.

It was very centrally located and close to all attractions. The smell of freshly baked bread was a good wake up call. The bakery was convenient for breakfast - staff were very friendly.

The bed was extremely comfortable. Breakfast was very good especially having fresh baked produce. The room was clean and just the right size for a short stay. Location was fairly central and good for walking to most places we wanted to visit.

Loved the breakfast, but thought it should be a little less euros. Was surprised that we had to pay for coffee in the morning.

Free coffee, at least one cup in the morning for guests staying at the hotel. The bed pads used were plastic and tinted to crease up as one slipped. I would change those bed pads.

Central location . Very clean and convenient room . Housekeeping was prompt and excellent. Bakery downstairs and the breakfast - worth it!

Nothing really. If I were to point out one thing - would be the lack of a kettle in the room - but that’s a minor point.

The location, close to Casa Mila, shops and Barcelona Passeig de Garcia station was excellent. The bakery downstairs was great for breakfast and provided a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Rooms were small but well appointed with a large shower and comfortable king size bed.

We were very happy with our choice and would definitely recommend this hotel.

Staff were friendly and helpful when it came to recommendations of things to do/places to eat. The bakery was fantastic, the buffet breakfast was really great. Good variety of food/drinks & unlimited tea or coffee! The baked goods were amazing. Great having a filter water machine that was freezing cold. Very welcome in the Barcelona heat! It would have been nice to have a bar or space I the room to sit on a couch to unwind. The bakery was very busy & not relaxing to sit

We loved the water station, the computer availability, location and the bakery. The staff were really lovely and helpful. The breakfast was very good.

The bakery at the bottom of the hotel was always busy in the morning, this made the stay really wholesome. The shower and bathroom were all good quality, the bedroom all clean. Soap, shampoo, conditioner and moisturiser, all provided, were spa standard and smelt beautiful. Concierge / reception staff were very helpful. All round lovely stay. A glass bottle was provided for the room with the ability to fill up cold, ambient and hot water in the hotel.

Not so much a dislike, however, two glass refill bottles could be provided in the room when there are two paying guests.

design of the interior.The ceramics in the bathroom were great. Rainshower! Breakfast has great sweet bakery. Breakfast room was really beautifull , spacious with green touchs and original elements in it.They serve bread in various taste and shape and made hte breakfast a joy. They provide a nice bottle to refill with water at their fontain.

The first contact with the staff was great, by phone and personal welcoming on late arival. Later on though, Staff was not very warm, they where polite but nothing more. Most gave short answers, if any, when asked. Breakfast was sufficient but when we asked for pepper 2 days on a row I would aspect the remaining days some sort of pepper on the buffet. They do have boiled eggs but I did miss scrambled eggs.Some staff was efficient in supplying the breakfast, others did not watch and guests had to ask to refill food all the time. The water has lots of chloride, we bought bottles.

Great location. The room was very clean. The bakery was amazing, really tasty food!

The bed was terribly uncomfortable. Very hard and we could feel where the two single beds met to make the double. Don’t expect to get a good nights sleep here. Don’t bother with the buffet breakfast, it was cheaper for us just to buy breakfast ourselves from the bakery.

Fabulous Bakery, really comfortable beds, lovely powerful shower in our room. Room was small which we knew about and clean and perfect for the amount of time we spent in it.

Wonderful central location. Great energy as you come downstairs to the bakery and the best pastry I’ve ever had!

The staff was great. Ruth, Peter and Mary were especially helpful . The breakfast was very good. It was great having having the excellent bakery right down the stairs.

I loved the location, very central to the attractions. Nice little cafe around the corner where you can buy coffee and a croissant for €2.75.

No coffee making facilities in our room. I like to wake up with a coffee before I head out for the day.

The location was incredible! The views of the street and of Sagrada Familia were excellent. We loved the gift on the bed of Cava and desserts - my girlfriend loves pasties, so this was a nice little surprise.

The room did not stay cool, it was super hot and super uncomfortable at times. There also was very little toilet paper in the the bathroom, so having some stocked and other toiletries would be better.

Staying on the first floor can be noisy very early in the morning from the bakery downstairs but that is not to he helped and part of the charm of the hotel!

Location is great. We walked all Gaudi attractions and restaurants. Friendly staff. Bakery downstairs is a good one to eat delicious food. The shower and toilet area in the room are very spacious. They also have a bottle for drinking water that you can fill at the hotel. They also have a storage for our luggage after check out, which was very helpful.

Location was great! Praktik Bakery is in a safe and quiet neighborhood, but is near enough to the city center. Easy to get around from this hotel. It is also such a novel idea to have a cafe at the lobby of the hotel -- makes it easier when you're hungry in the middle of the day, and also a nice spot to meet up with friends.

The hotel might benefit from having a bidet in the toilet area and an additional trashcan beside the toilet. However, I do understand that this is more common in Asian countries and not so much in Europe.

i stayed here excactly 10 years and i really enjoyed it then. i was pleasently suprised how well the property and the rooms have been maintained from then till now. The design has proved to be timeless and quality, the beds are as comfy as i remember. This time i got a street facing room which let in some wonderful afternoon sun. The double glazed windows softened any street noise. Being on a quiet street anyway, there wasnt traffic noise noticed at all. We also hired an electric car with a handful of stations to charge this at. street parking was much easier than anticipated too in the evenings. Or the hotel has an agreement with a parking lot around the corner. The bakery is as excellent as i remember too.

Brilliant location, clean and quiet rooms, helpful staff, generous check out (12pm!), excellent bakery downstairs. Great water pressure in the shower, with nice body wash/shampoo provided. The staff were helpful when I asked for dinner suggestions. You're near all the best restaurants, cafes, attractions, etc. I moved from a hotel near the beach to stay here instead and it was so much better (obviously).

Location was amazing for our short stay. Ruth and Stephanie were execelent 'pointers' for what we needed at any time; american sports bar to watch football, cafe around the block for a nice break, short term luggage storage on our way out of town. Location is walkable to the beach (longer walk), La Sagrada de Familia, food, drink, grocery stores, pharmacy, anything you need is right there. Wake up to the smell of bread. What a great find!

The bed was glorious. It's absolutely massive and so comfortable. The room was lovely with a large shower.

Very limited vegan options at the bakery which was a shame. Everything else was lovely.

Nice compact but stylish rooms. The bakery downstairs is such a bonus, for late breakfasts or afternoon coffee with amazing pastries. The staff were super welcoming and warm, and accommodated my late arrival.

Room doors are not fully sound-proofed, so there is some noise from the corridors during cleaning hours. Nothing major though, and you’re likely out of your room during the cleaning hours.

The hotel is ideally located, close to all the main sights, yet the street is quiet and safe. The staff are very kind and helpful.
