Nice room. Bed was comfortable and the bathroom was very nice. The staff were excellent, very helpful in arranging a taxi and lunch recommendation

I think guests should know the pool is not a private pool for guests. Any person can buy a drink at the bar and go up to the rooftop deck which made the pool very uninviting. It was surrounded by young people smoking and putting their feet in the water. Very annoying

For a 5 star hotel the entrance was horrible. The lobby very small. Too expensive for what they offer. Some of the room were dirty and stingy with toilet paper. Load location.

Staff were amazing! Fantastic location! The room was designed nicely and very comfortable. Was great having some outdoor space.

Unfortunately we had some problems with the electrics meaning some of the plug sockets were not working.

The Hotel is very chic, fantastic location, very friendly staff and unusually large rooms for the old town area. We absolutely loved our stay, even if it was short. Absolutely recommend!

Lovely room, mega high ceiling, so nice bathroom. Superb location, in the middle of it all. Vibrant and always things happening outside, love that they put earplugs in the room. 😅 Great roof terrace🙌🏻 Friendly staff.

From the first warm welcome from the staff as i arrived - this was just a peek at how helpful and professional they were throughout my stay. One of the most friendly hotels I have ever stayed in.

The hotel is super central and in a beautiful old building where the rooms have been sensitively converted, and my room was so comfortable it was a wrench to leave each day.

Staff were amazing. Very helpful. Great location close to everything.

Because the hotel was close to everything this brought a lot of noise through the night. This certainly my wasn’t the staff’s fault and they did provide ear plugs and white noise machine

The location was fabulous, the hotel was stunning, I don’t think the marketing photos I saw do it justice. Beautiful high ceilings, very clean and stylish. Lots of great attention to detail, e.g. personalised welcome note, chocolates and a helpful card to help you out with the lighting which was tricky to get right. Comfy bed, great view of Plaça Reial. I stayed on a Saturday night and could hear the lively goings on of the square with its restaurants and clubs which I didn’t mind at all. On Sunday morning I woke up to a very different view of the same, now subdued square, a quaint little market setting-up and unfolding. Reception staff were very pleasant.

I put the do not disturb button on but at 09:15 housekeeping were tapping away at my door. Unfortunately I don’t speak Spanish she was waving a room key but I couldn’t understand what she was saying. Aside from that, no complaints. Loved it, wouldn’t hesitate for a return visit.

Location was great. Staff was friendly and helpful providing tips and helping with arrangements.

The electrical in the room was strange and the wifi did not work various moments. Even though you feel safe, the homeless people sleeping/ staying near the entrance of the hotel is not pleasant.

Staff were excellent, friendly and extremely helpful. We had a great terrace with plunge pool,, sun loungers and a seating area. just a bit cold in February to make use of it. Just off the Ramblas in a square full of restaurants and of course a 1min walk into the Ramblas. Breakfast was self service, nicely set out . You were able to order eggs and bacon, plenty of croissant, bread, cheeses, ham etc.,

Unfortunately our room phone was not working, nor the safe. Mentioned this twice, but during our 4 day stay neither were fixed.

Wonderful service in the hotel and concierge - did not have the same experience at the restaurant- Every detail is super cured and the staff is available for any request.

We could not access the rooftop bar for the entire stay. The restaurant outside, part of the property has good food - unfortunately not the same for the service.

The noise from outside is all night long till the morning is a party corner was impossible to sleep for 6 days we were on vacation and want some rest Also this is no 5 star hotel is very overpriced The lobby is very small and dark the rooms are very dark too The lighting is bad Shower average shampoo and shower gel are in some wired old bottles hanging on the stand in the wall no one of them was working correctly Towels not soft

The room was amazing in so many ways but some times the sounds from the revelers in the plaza came in to the room.

It was very well located, stylish, very clean and with a lovely breakfast.

It was noisy at about 6am. This noise was from outside. I assume some clubs may have finished up at this time. They do provide ear plugs but they don’t block it out.

Friendly, helpful with directions, wonderful included breakfast, great location to get to metro to go anywhere, very comfortable room and up to date bathroom.

Bar tenders were below average in drink quality It is noisy on the plaza but earplugs solve that problem (included in the room).

Stayed here in September 2023. Fantastic location, and fantastic staff. Barcelona is a beautiful city and this is a great spot to explore it from. Very clean hotel and vibrant area of city.

Be warned the square is busy until the wee small hours, if you can't sleep through the noise this might be a deal breaker for you, but I loved it. The pool on the roof is also more of a bird bath, you won't be spending your days up there.

Location was great in the middle of lots of action, breakfast choice was reasonable,better if you were not a resident!! Hotel is a bit tired it needs a bit of a revamp, expected more of a five star hotel.The outside terrace is its saving grace,nice place to sit and have drinks & watch the world go by,although for the 5 days we are there they did not have tonic!!

The hotel lobby is very small with the bar area, & very warm with little or no air conditioning judt s large fan to keep you cool. The rooms & bathrooms are tired & need to be refitted. The pool is really just a foot bath for the pigeons and very unwelcoming, as is the roof top bar, very poor,not a place you would want to sit, poor facilities & not pleasant.

The staff were absolutely amazing, super helpful and very accomodating. Special thanks to Henry & Beatrice who were extremely professional, friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Hotel was in a brilliant location with good metro links to visit the rest of the city. The hotel was clean and comfortable, the food we had for breakfast was very nice.

We felt that some of the facilities were a little bare minimum given the 5* status of the hotel. Only two coffee pods were provided each day. The rooftop pool was a nice touch but didn't look very clean due to the pigeons - although this would be hard to prevent! The bar drinks were lovely but very expensive compared to the surrounding options. We paid 35 euros for a double G&T and Whiskey which seems extortionate! Overall this didn't spoil the experience though!

The location was fabulous! Very central to everything! Room and bathroom were spacious. Desk staff were very friendly & helpful. Good soundproofing from noise in the communal square beneath.

Our bathroom lights weren’t working properly. They organised a repairman but he was unable to fix it. The cooked breakfast was nice but unfortunately by the time we got given it, it was cold. We did ask could they make it hotter but it never really came out hot! I drink black tea but the only tea available was flavoured tea.

Wonderful small boutique hotel in a fabulous location if you want to be near Gotic, El Born and Beach. Quiet rooms even though you’re a stones throw from La Ramblas.

Rooftop bar was cool and rooftop pool. Everyone was very friendly and helpful.

The breakfast was good, however the variation could have been bigger.

Location was perfect, breakfast was delicious and a nice choice, staff super friendly and happy to help with tours, taxis etc Roof top bar was nice for an early evening drink and nice pool for a dip! Love that they are trying to put back to the environment by planting trees when they collect days where guests bypass a days cleaning :)

The property is romantically looking overlooking the square. The staff were generous and welcoming. Very central location.

Loved the private pool, it needed a little tlc, but we asked for it to be cleaned and it was!! It probably should be covered when not in use and the pigeons use it as thier private toilet!

Only one minor complaint, and that was that I ordered a bottle of Prosecco as a surprise to the room on arrival… and we didn’t get it. The honeymoon moment was kind of mute after that… no point getting it as it was meant to be a surprise when we arrived.

Noisy neighbours on the square in the early hours

Excellent location, big rooms, well designed, and very helpful staff. Organised airport taxi and an early breakfast for us too. Had seen some reviews saying it was a bit noisy due to overlooking Plaça Reial, but we no issues at all, the windows had great soundproofing!

Room was beautiful, good bed, clean room, good location. Very nice and helpful employees, they help you everything. We asks to have room longer to stay on last day, and they gave as discount (only if room is not booked and avaliable).

Breakfast was poor. only 4 options, no swedes table, and no barrier which divided area where guest eating, from other people how are passing by. Rooftop café could be renovated and make it elegant, swimming pool small, not good to use.

unfortunately too many pigeons on the roof made the private pool unpleasant as it was full of poo. I suppose that’s very difficult to avoid in the centre of a city.

Location near the gothic quarter and the port. They arranged early check in which was appreciated. Upstairs terrace is a nice outside option. Air con.

Had to walk lots each day to see things. Probably better for us had we stayed near Placa Catalunya. Shower not clean and bathroom sinks with broken plugs. Reception person different everyday and we never heard back about a room question we asked one of them. We felt it was expensive for what it was. City tax or $6 a day each because the accomodation is '5 star' although I'm not sure I agree. In my experience this would be more 3.5/4 star experience. Noisy outside at night. With little way to reduce.

The roof terrace needs some work on it. Pool wasn't working when we arrived and the decking and chairs need some tlc.
