The location was amazing

The facilities were really poor. From basic stuff like towels and internet

Great location, clean and quiet. Comfortable bed and good shower. Charming vibes and pleasant staff.

The Hotel was very centrally located and it’s looks just like you pics online.

Rooms were very small

The location is really nice and safe. The wifi is very fast （fastest i ever seen ）The café near the hotel is good.

The lift is old-fashioned but still ok. The bedroom is smaller than i expected but this can be ignored.

I’ve stayed many times and love the location.

We were in a separate building down the street. The feel of the place has changed we couldn’t access the common areas as they were locked. Had to use paper cups to make a tea as there was only one cup in the kitchen everything else locked in the breakfast room. Couldn’t access the terrace after the breakfast room was locked up. Had planned to use the restaurant and bar but private functions prevented that. I have always loved staying here but don’t think I’ll be back.

I liked that you have a fridge and breakfast area on the first floor. I was told about it by two roommates on the last night. I wish they would have informed me about this when I checked in.

I couldn't order anything from the bar/restaurant because of an activity. You should make sure that guests can order even if they have to go to the first floor.

Location was excellent and we had a good-sized, well-presented room on the 6th floor with a great view. My bed was comfy but my friend found hers too soft. Lovely, renovated old building with a quirky lift. The communal patio was a gorgeous space. All the staff we encountered were friendly; we were informed by the cleaner that the coffee/tea machine by the kitchen was free (which we wouldn't have known otherwise!). Good value but we had a last-min booking deal.

The website promotes the communal spaces, which are lovely, but I didn't feel particularly encouraged to use them. No details of the spaces (ie opening times/location/availability) were offered at check-in or provided in the room. The communal patio and the inside dining room adjoining it both closed at 10pm, according to a small sign, which seemed a little early. Two spaces were closed for private parties during our 4-night stay and we didn't find the downstairs 'chill' space until the last day, as there were no obvious signs/directions. Kitchen was good, with large fridge/freezers, but no available mugs or glasses during our entire stay so we had to use paper cups.

Location is very good. it is located in the city centre, you can go to Ra Lambla and other places by walking. Room also good.

Excellent staff. They go out of their way to make sure you are looked after. It is a very nice character building that has been updated. Comfortable room and beds, Clean. Very good kitchen available. Nice outdoor lounge area. There is a yoga room downstairs as well as a restaurant. The location is excellent.

Wifi was not always strong but it was generally fine for my stay. Rooms are not very soundproof as it is an old building but i did not have any issues during my stay.

Great location 5 mins from la rambles . Bars and food on your doorstep. Clean and inviting place to stay. We stayed for one night with family die to a change of flights. The rooms were big and slept us all in one rrom. There were facilities for take outside and room.provided for us to take our food. Free coffee in thr hall way which was very nice coffee .. staff are friendly overall we were happy.

There was problems with key system, couldnt enter the room.

it's cheap 4-in-a-room but the layout made it feel I had a little space with privacy to my self, I was also next to the massive window where I wake up to sunlight (the small things that makes me happy). they helped store my luggage after check out while waiting for my night flight so I could still look around Barcelona.

very little space to hang clothes and 1 occupant in the room took the entire space and all the hangers to herself! she also keeps the curtains close the entire time.

the breakfast could be improved

The location is great and we booked a private en-suite at the property. The rooms were neat and spacious. Would definitely recommend to anyone travelling to Barcelona for a few days!

Very noisy at night, tiny room

I liked the bed, bathroom and the location of the hotel it was all very much to my standard. The tall room gave a unique atmosphere to the room. Lastly, the proximity to local transport was very nice.

The walls were a bit dirty, but it could be from the rustic old fashion atmosphere they are trying to create. I did not appreciate that when I went down to the reception to ask a question the receptionist took out his frustration not sure if it was towards me, the question or the device he was using, by swearing like a manic in Spanish assuming I don't understand what he was saying.

I like the bathroom& the beds

They don't have remote control for the air conditioner.

It would be nice if the front desk could give you some recommendations about what there is to see in the neighbourhood.

Location is perfect to go anywhere. We stayed in a quadruple room located at a building next door to the reception. While we understand the rule of check in at 3pm, it appears the reception is rigid to keep guests lining up until 3pm to have the keys. Daily cleaning of the room is a merit. Really enjoyed the shower with abundant hot water supply. Room security is remarkable.

Ceiling light in living room is so dim that you can't read any paper. Just like living in old days that short of electricity supply.

There were stairs up to the top bunk so a nice change from having to climb up & down a ladder.

The shower's flooring is weird, basically the shower mirrors can be moved in and out so water is essentially just on the floor flowing downwards the drain but most of the time floor is wet. Also would be better if theres slippers provided

Noisy aircondition that is locked and can not be turned off, even when you ask the reception. The Room only had a window facing inside and if you opened the window it smelled bad.

Stuff were perfect, also every day they came to clean the rooms and renew the towels and bedsheets. I'm satisfied with my experience. also perfect breakfast 👌

Nice room, lovely building, close enough to all major attractions, but very close to the awesome Gracia neighbourhood. The staff was helpful, the coffee was free, the common rooms were well appointed, and the building had great character.

The rooms with balconies were extremely noisy. The first 2 nights were rather sleepless because of wild party people in the square out front. Also, our air conditioner didn't work (maybe because it wasn't summer?), so it was a nightly battle of boil in the room with the balcony doors closed for a little more quiet, or get some air but never fall asleep due to the noise. Ironically, when we switched to a cheaper "interior" room for the last night, we slept soundly.

Beautiful spaces all over and the room was excellent. Common dining and cooking area was well stocked with lots of room. Lovely breakfast.

The beds are very comfortable and sturdy so you don't feel you are in a bunk bed.

Not much of a social vibe, it doesn't have that homey feel of a hostel. Comfort could be increased with curtains on the beds.

We were delighted with the property especially the location. It was so convenient to everything, restaurants, cafes, stations, buses, taxis, main attractions etc. In fact it was located in one of the up market shopping areas in Barcelona. We were pleased with our double room also and of course the facilities in the property e.g. the restaurant, the bar and the breakfast in the mornings. We would definitely recommend it.

The room was very minimal - lack of space to store belongings. The shower pressure was low.

The facilities, kitchen area, and lower level lounge need a deep clean. The chillout area on the 1st floor is only open until noon. It is one of the nicest places to be, but people are not allowed in after 12.00. In the rooms, there are no hangers, wardrobes, or shelves to put your things on. Only one drawer with no lock per person. You need to leave your stuff on the floor. Also, the mattresses need a change.

Excellent location and beautiful view on the balcony for a great price. Great breakfast for the price. Helpful staff. Large room and very comfortable bed.

Bathtub leaked on the top side when taking a shower as the plaster was broken. Water has an odd smell and left a residue the one time I tried taking a bath. Water pressure in the mornings was weak and sometimes cut out, probably because of the top floor room and many people using the water supply. Cleaning was a bit inconsistent, sometimes the towels weren’t properly changed a few times.

Great location, beautiful rooms and building including vintage elevator. Nice to have communal kitchen and courtyard. Room was small but very clean and decorated beautifully.

Staff not helpful or particularly friendly, couldn’t answer questions about what to do in the area and upon check in gave us no information, (ie about the courtyard, kitchen hours, free coffee/latte machine which we didn’t know about) just handed us our keys. Communal kitchen was missing mugs, library / sitting room was only open in the morning and closed after noon which seemed pointless as most people want to sit and relax in the evening.

Everything's amazing. It is close to the Diagonal metro station, merely a walking distance of 4-6 minutes,close to Sagrada Familia, park Guell and many bus stops are there from where buses can be availed to visit all other touristic attractions in Barcelona. The staff was very amicable.

The breakfast was paid for while booking. Their menu is the same. I would recommend them to have at least some non-vegetarian meat options which include only chicken or mutton or lamb. There are many people who travel to Spain and stay at Casa Gracia from India. Many Indians do not eat beef and ham due to religious reasons. They can prepare a time-table for breakfast, for instance, on Monday they can have X, Y, Z food items for breakfast while on Tuesday they can have A, B and C food items on the menu, and so on. I have had their monotonous breakfast for 4 consecutive days. I had to, because while booking, I had already paid for them.

It was a nice historic building typical of Barcelona. The room was quiet and clean, and the staff were very helpful and friendly. The online check-in process was smooth and sped up the check-in time for me. Overall, the location was excellent, which was more than sufficient.

I got an electric shock when I touched the bedside lamp.

Take into consideration that it can be noisy from the traffic if you choose a room with a view of the street. We didn't mind it though. It would be more comfortable if the room had some table or more closet space.

- absence of locks for the lockers in the shared room and impossibility to borrow them at the reception - an old window to the main street so that you can hear outside noises (but not very disturbing actually) - there are cheaper hostels in Barcelona centre

No breakfast, good location though.

The bed was too narrow, almost I fell off.

The breakfast was really good and they were plenty of different choices. The room was bigger than we expected and we were so glad about that. The beds were too comfy as well. The vibes in this hostel are so nice and the people too!!

Amazing location, basic but clean room, good facilities for travelling with a little baby (terrace, "relaxarium", kitchen, changing table in foyer loos etc).

We had to move rooms halfway through our stay and it's a pity they weren't able to help us with our bags. Other than that no complaints and we will stay here again
