Claris GL Hotel & Spa, Barcelona

Our room was a suite and was exceptional. The location was very central and easy to get around. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooftop bar was fun and nice to chill after work.

The rooms were beautiful, location was excellent and the free champagne upon arrival was lovely. We also used the spa which was a unique and extremely relaxing experience!

The first room we were in had these gorgeous windows, the second room had almost no natural night and tiny windows even though it was technically an "upgrade". I would have liked the water replaced more consistently - some days they didn't give us new water.

We loved the staff. They were all so professional and friendly. The Asian restaurant was amazing. The quality of drinks on the terrace were great. The beds were comfy, good linens and towels. The shower was good and all amenities were provided. Overall, the stay was extremely comfortable and pleasant. We found the location perfect.

While the room itself was beautiful, the walls were thin and there was a lot of street noise. The bathroom was a little dark and no vanity mirror. There was a conference on one of our days which meant service on the terrace was extremely slow. The smell of the hotel is specific. While I enjoyed it, others may be bothered by it. The gym was limited but cute.

Excellent location, room amazing and the staff were very helpful. The Spa was excellent.

We had a great room (including a sauna). Front desk staff and wait staff were great.Everyone was helpful. Great location to a very big city. Easy to get to where we wanted to go. Sagrada Familia is a must see!! Breakfast was excellent but we chose to pay as we go as the price was steep and we only ate there once in our 4 day stay.

A few of the bartenders on the roof were less then 100% helpful. Seemed stressed and maybe need more help.....but the wait staff was good.

Great design, perfect location, sexy rooms. Definitely great for couples. Excellent drinks in the restaurant on the terrace.

Unfortunately there is no sunlight, which is something you have to be prepared for rooms of a lower standard. It's a pity that the pool is not heated in the cold season.

A gorgeous hotel with a very cozy and luxe vibe. This is definitely my go-to in BCN.

Didn’t love the two single beds put together especially in a suite but I know that’s not unique to this hotel.

Absolutely beautiful little hotel in the heart of Barcelona. My experience was wonderful from the moment I stepped out of the cab to the moment I left.

This hotel is wonderful, no questions asked. Great location, amazing interiors, hotel personnel doing absolutely everything and going above and beyond to make you feel comfortable. There is also a great SPA in the hotel and a rooftop bar is amazing. The hotel is Mayan culture themed and has a small but wonderful art exhibition. Everything is very clean, my bed was really comfortable and I also had this great bathtub in the room. I went to celebrate my Birthday and felt very celebrated on the day! I can also recommend the VIP breakfast, in summer on a rooftop it is a wonderful experience.

Probably the only thing I was missing was the balcony or a terrace in the room.

Staff were exceptionally attentive and approachable. Lovely clean scent throughout…just gorgeous.

Bed was a little on the firm side

Great hotel & staff and in a fairly good location. The roof top restaurant was really nice and the food great too and I think it was very reasonable. The rooms were very clean. Lots of nice places to eat nearby. Didn't have breakfast included. The hotel smelled wonderful, I guess it came from the spa.

Room was quite dark, although your not in your room all day it became a little frustrating Room 301. Also, if you need a rest during the day ( my husband recently had a new hip and needs to elevate his leg for a few hours a day) forget it. The house keeping staff made lots of noise, scrapping chairs, loud banging sounds, trolleys rolling up and down. This went on from 9am to 6pm. Other than that we loved the place.

Hotel Claris is an exceptional establishment. If you're looking for a premium experience, look no further. Hotel staff are professional and friendly. Both restaurants are world-class and the views from the rooftop are breathtaking.

They could increase the number of vegan dishes options.

Location was excellent. Staff and customer service, superb. This piggy backs off of my other review, as I stayed in Hotel Claris for 14 days. Originally booked for 7, but enjoyed my stay so much I ended up extending for 7 more. Wish I could just move in already! Lol. Overall, excellent and spacious room, prime location-within walking distance of all shopping, dining, and nightlife experiences. Excellent rooftop service and swimming pool. Even enjoyed the gym on the 7th floor. One of the best trips, and hotel stays, I have experienced to date.

Extremely attentive staff. Exceptional customer service. Phenomenal room quality and cleanliness. Excellent location. Within walking distance of everything of significance in regards to tourists. Was actually so content that I ended up extending my stay an extra week! I was given the same room, and same top notch service throughout the duration of my stay. Everything about the experience far exceeded my expectations.

Open plan bathroom means sleep is disturbed whenever anyone goes to use it. Stairs were also not safe for a toddler. Walls are quite thin and we could hear quite a bit of noise

It’s the third time my family and friends have stayed in Barcelona at the Hotel Claris It has been perfect all three times It’s Roomy and comfortable A great central location The pool and rooftop is a wonderful Oasis. Probably our favorite thing Staff is always professional A perfect Stay When in Barcelona we will always stay at Hotel Claris Made a mistake once stayed elsewhere was no comparison

On my second stay I forgot my favorite traveling boots I called they found them I was told to email instructions to have them mailed back to me I did no one ever RESPONDED recently i wanted give cc information to have them mailed back no response I had my kids stay there at this point they were told they no longer had them Was very disappointed expected a better response considering the caliber and high quality of the service when at the hotel

Great location! The Japanese restaurant is amazing! Our room was good but smelt of fried food, not dirty but perhaps a vent making the smell.
