The location is excellent, situated in a quiet and trendy area with several famous attractions within walking distance. The hotel staff are friendly and professional. If I visit Barcelona again, I would choose to stay here.

the standard room is a bit small, so next time I might opt for a larger room type.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel and room were clean and well cleaned daily. The hotel was very secure. Nice bar The quality of the staff brought the score up to 8. The location was good very nice safe area but a little far from the areas of the city we loved such as Rambla, but that's on us as we did not know what areas we were going to like. The room was very quiet at night and the bed was very comfortable.

Honestly felt the room was small for the amount we paid. In Madrid we paid almost half for double the size in a good area and nice hotel. This one had insufficient space for placing clothes in drawers. there was a shelf above the small desk and both myself and my partner banged our heads on it getting up from the desk

Great central location. Warm staff who recommended places to eat and even made dinner reservations for us. Cute and cozy rooms, plus a very cute rooftop with complimentary drinks and snacks.

Everything, from the attention to luxury amenities, location, staff and cleanliness- superb.

The staff is extremely friendly, informative, and helped us with every request we made. Erewina and her team went out of their way for us to make it a perfect stay. We stayed 3 nights, then went elsewhere in Spain for a week, and came back for our last night. They had a fruit platter waiting for us in our room to welcome us back, and also kept luggage for us while we were gone. The breakfast buffet was exceptional and restaurant staff were also wonderful.

The room was very comfortable. The balcony was nice and there was a breeze in the afternoon. It was an excellent location for shopping and dining. We had access to taxi service and were able to walk to most places.

The lighting was either too bright (with all the lights on) or too dim (with just the bed lights on). The balcony was a bit of a disappointment looking out to the back of the buildings and rooftop of the building next door. The plant located on our balcony was also dead.

The included breakfast was delicious with something for every appetite. Beds were comfortable and staff was incredible.

The shower had moldy grout and it would have been perfect if the shower was cleaner.

Beautiful Hotel in the most perfect location. Loved the decor of the rooms and all the general areas which have a contemporary warm feel. Wonderful beds and linen. Lovely bar area and street restaurant attached to the hotel which is a fun place to be. Well equipped small gym with a sauna. Would have loved a massage if there had been time. Front desk welcome was friendly with great recommendations for restaurants and bookings made for us. Would book a suite next time which is glorious!

Cozy, tasty, the best location

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at CS. The rooms were great, the restaurant and bar were very good, but for us, the staff made the stay amazing, every one of them went out of their way to make our stay memorable. They alone would make us choose CS again.

Almost nothing, one tiny thing was that the shower door did not shut correctly in our room, when we mentioned it the staff acted immediately to work to remedy the issue.

We got a less expensive room, due to the price; it was very comfortable, but nothing like the beautiful rooms on the website. So, my takeaway is - if you are going to pay this price, either take one of the nicer rooms or consider a better value elsewhere unless you are OK paying for the location and taking a relatively plain room. On the other hand, the location is wonderful and we also loved the great breakfast and 12 pm checkout. Also the shower and bath products are A+++

Beautiful hotel only made better by the staff that run it. They were considerate, accommodating and helped us in every way they could. After 23 hours of airports and flying, they were very kind when we arrived at 9.30am looking disheveled and tired. We were offered breakfast & coffee right away in a super comfy lounge type space, while they finished our room and took our bags up so we could sleep. We’d requested an early check in, which obviously depends on others checking out early enough, and they came through. It was appreciated very much. The breakfast every day was a perfect selection of everything you could want including made to order items. The breakfast staff were awesome, attentive and great at remembering you and your coffee/drink choices. Every morning we’d barely been seated for a minute when our coffees arrived. The attention to detail was great. Our room was on the top level. it was modern, clean, comfortable & plenty of space for our massive amount of luggage. It didn’t feel like a hotel, more like a cool small apartment with helpful staff. Room service was thrashed as we arrived at the beginning of a holiday weekend which meant a lot of things were closed. The location to everything was good for walking or a taxi. We are looking forward to returning to Casa Sagnier in future travels. We definitely recommend this hotel.

The bathroom could have been cleaner. House keeping were a lil bit inconsistent, we had to chase them up most days for bits n pieces. The old trolley they serve room service on needs to be retired. Yes, it’s part of the vibe once you know the history of the building, but it was impractical. Also, when we finished our meal it felt wrong leaving our messy plates etc in the corridor, as they sat for quite a while. It was the same for other rooms too, walking past room service remnants in the hallway. We think maybe they were short staffed because of the holiday weekend. These are actually really small things, that are not a deterrent to staying here. The hotel has so many great things about it and the above were just a few small observations.

The price

Beautiful, calming rooms with extremely comfortable beds and bed linens. Staff exceptionally helpful and gracious.

Fitness facilities were scant.

The location was excellent - right in the heart of Barcelona.

The Hotel is located in an amazing location, just around the corner from La Pedrera you are perfectly located for time in the city and being close by to all amenities. In addition we loved our room and small details such as Soft drinks and a welcome drink when you arrive gives a feeling of home away from home. In addition staff were great, I had running routes recommended as an example. As well as a good guides for Breakfast or Dinners which is hugely appreciated always.

Cleaning in general is/was exceptional. But some details were missing, for example the vent in the bathroom was full of dust. I have extreme OCD so it was annoying for me but for any normal person (not me) I think it is a complete non issue.
