The hostel had a really nice chill vibe, with events to help you socialise and meet people but also with areas to relax by yourself should you want to. The doorm room was on the smaller side, with not a lot of place to open your suitcase or move around, but the facilities were well maintained and kept clean. The breakfast in the mornings was really good :) The staff were FANTASTIC! They helped get my suitcase delivered to the airport and were super responsive, as I arranged this whole process after having finished my stay at the Yard. Definitely recommended

Rooms on the smaller side, so difficult to navigate when a few people were in at the same time, but not a biggie as you'll spend most of the time out and about.

One of the best hostels I’ve stayed around the world!

The best place for solo travelers. You will find new friends quickly. The staff is excellent, the Internet is fast, you can leave your things while traveling around the country. I will definitely come back here.

The staff were super friendly and helpful, the private room was lovely with aircon that worked very well. Really loved the farmers bar right outside the hostel.

Very chill hostel which is very well connected in Bangkok. It’s quite a social hostel, so it’s very easy to get chatting to people over breakfast or grabbing a coffee. I met a lot of great people at this hostel :) the staff are very friendly and helpful.

I loved the common area in the garden and the staff very friendly, nice and helpful. It’s also very quiet and perfect to rest after a busy day in the city.

Rooms maybe a bit too small, with the backpacks on the floor it’s difficult to walk

You can wake up, have a fruity breakfast, take a stroll, come back, have a burger, get your nails did, and have Japanese food all in the same place. What more can you ask for?

I really liked this place

The property was extremely clean, well looked after and considerate of all in terms of quietness. The staff were really friendly and helpful despite the heat. Appreciated the air con/ fans in both the rooms and common areas. The surrounding area had a good range of food options and great access to the metro line.

Excellent location and staff!

The hostel is really nice. The rooms are comfortable and furnished with everything you need. The owners and staff are super nice and available to answer any questions. The breakfast is honestly the best I've ever had in any hostel. I also liked the green courtyard and the environmental aspect of the hostel. The sanitary facilities were mostly clean.

Really nice atmosphere, everyone really friendly and helpful. We got lots of recommendations about local things to do. The breakfast was included and delicious. Was easy to speak to everyone and probably meeting people (although we only stayed for 1 night unfortunately). The yard is so beautiful and peaceful. We were sad we couldn't hang out more there due to lack of time. Would strongly recommend!

Ari area is perfect for staying. I really enjoy everything in Yard,breakfast,location,staff…..etc. Will stay in the same place if I visit Bangkok again:)

Chilled oasis in Bangkok

Staff were incredibly welcoming. Main perk is the lovely communal space to chill out in. Bonuses include refillable water tap, free group yoga session on the afternoon I came, and a nice but small breakfast. Super easy to meet people too Burger restaurant on site (other food options a few minutes away)

The staff was so nice, in a big city like this it might get overwhelming. But they made us feel very comfy and welcome.

The hostel crew was friendly and helpful anytime we had questions or concerns. The breakfast was delicious. Overall, we felt comfortable during our stay and were able to calm down in the hostel given the otherwise rush in Bangkok.

Nothing much to add. The option for an earlier check-in (than 2pm) would have been helpful though.

This is my second stay at The Yard. When I checked in one of the girl from the reception greeted me and said that she remembers me and I instanly felt like at home already. Again The vibes are unreal! Great communal area to meet other travelers Convenient location, close to BTS, cafe & restos and 7/11

Amazing place! The staff, vibe, common area, breakfast and soft blankets make it 1 of the best hostels I have ever stayed in. They really understand what a traveller needs and exceed all expectations. They are particularly practical I you arrive early by nightbus. It's close to the terminal and you can just chill in the common area. Did I already mention the staff? They are wonderfull!!!

Don't expect a new hostel, it's not. But it's clean and well taken care of. The sea containers are super cool, so it's fancy in it's own way.

Third time in the last 10 years and I keep loving this place. It went through a rennovation and now it feels a bit more posh/less Hippie than before but still very laid back and hip. Breakfast keeps being yummy and healthy with fresh fruit and yogurt.

Very nice vibe and the common area is amazing. It is recommended if you want to meet people. The staff was also super helpful.

Dorm is small and it was very hard to organize your stuff and not waking up other people.

Incredibly friendly staff. Beautiful surroundings and fantastic facilities, free water and refillable drinking water! Brilliant free yoga classes! A wonderful place to stay. Such a great vibe! The only thing was it was a little way out of the city for the purpose of our trip, so that may be something to consider but grab taxis were super easy to order!
