Inn A Day Hotel, Bangkok

Perfect

Sadly, we did not have a room with the spectacular view of the river Chao Praya and the Wat Arun temple but this small family run hotel was just perfect. Really good breakfast included, great rooftop bar and a free drink every evening. We also liked the restaurant on the ground floor (and the free mosquito spray if you eat outside!).
Above all, the location is fantastic. Inn a Day is near the ferry for Wat Arun near the royal palace and in an area thankfully away from the frenzy of central Bangkok but still buzzing with plenty of great restaurants and rooftop bars. It is also a short walk from the metro station making the hotel easily accessible from the airport. The room rate was surprisingly reasonable when we booked a few months ahead, but had more than doubled by the time we were heading back to Bangkok. Book early is my advice!

Not really a dislike but putting the key card in the slot on entering the room automatically turned on the television playing lift music. The same music every single time. It was a race to see if we could turn it off before it came on!

It is nice, clean, charming, exceptional view, nice rooftop bar, excellent welcome cocktail. Above all the staff are fantastic and turn themselves inside out to assist you with anything you need. The breakfast lady even remembered my exact order from 5 weeks earlier(!). Love this place and will certainly return again.

The drains in the bathroom are sometimes a bit smelly, but can probably not be avoided due to the close proximity to the river.

For a short stay in Bangkok, the location is
perfect! And the breakfast is great too.

Location location location! Plus the view of Wat Arun from the breakfast area on the 4th floor, and the rooftop bar on the 5th floor. Right near the palace and across from Wat Pho.

Incredible location - positioned exactly in front of Wat Arun - amazing view from our room, the breakfast area, the rooftop ! And so easy to go anywhere from there !
Amazing people and service ! They even made us a good buy present !
Breakfast was just excellent !
Also, it was so great to come back in the hotel after a tiring day and relax in the rooftop bar !
Yes, it is not cheap, but in the price it is included an amazing breakfast and a drink (every day) in the amazing rooftop.

If I need to find something, I would name the noisy air-con.

Absolutely love this hotel! The room, the amazing river view and the incredible view of Wat Arun! The staff is so friendly and helpful. Breakfast is delicious and your view of Wat Arun is just icing on the cake. The restaurant downstairs is Mug Jee and the food is outstanding and traditional Thai flavors. If you want to hit the rooftop bar you won’t be disappointed!

I love the location, the atmosphere and the facility - a clean, modern, charming boutique hotel with fabulous view and great rooftop terrace. What I loved most though, was the amazing staff - so kind, so helpful, friendly and always going the extra mile. This was especially true of the reception staff. Thank you 🙏🌟

This hotel is INCREDIBLE. Location, staff and accomodation is a 10/10! The hotel is literally in between the 2 most important temples of the city, Wat Arun and Wat Pho that makes it easier to get to know everything! The food from the restaurant, the breakfast and the rooftop were amazing as well! The staff was the kindiest. But the BEST thing is really the view from the rooms! I would ABSOLUTELY come back!

This was a FANTASTIC stay. The hotel had an amazing view of the river and Wat Arun. The rooftop bar to view the light and drone display was fab. Tyme restaurant and breakfast wonderful. Staff THE BEST. Receptionist couldn't do enough for us. Location; in walking distance of everything we wanted to see.

Fantastic boutique hotel. Wonderful staff. Great location and view from the bedroom, breakfast room and roof top bar. Architect design - it was all lovely. I can’t believe it’s only rated as 3 star, it’s definitely a 4 or even 5 in my opinion based on many stays in hotels.

It was quite pricy for the accommodation compared to other high rated hotels in Bangkok.

This hotel is in a brilliant location and a view to die for. Very comfortable big bed. There is a lift which is brilliant for my 91 years old Mum. The breakfast was delicious and plenty. The owners and staffs are very nice and friendly. They kept a parking for us. We will definitely come back ka.

I loved the facilities at the hotel. The staff was the most helpful, thoughtful and friendly. The location of the hotel is truly a sight to be seen. The staff really went out of their way to accommodate for my dietary needs for the breakfast. The hotel is opposite the Wat Pho temple which made it easy to travel to and from.

The location is fantastic, directly across from Wat Arun. Night views from the room and the rooftop bar are breathtaking. I have stayed in many hotels in Bangkok over the years, most of which include some sort of breakfast. Inn A Day provides the best cooked-to-order breakfast I have ever experienced in Thailand.

You don't notice anything negative while you stare in awe at the golden Wat Arun filling your window.

Since its an old building. The running elevator is kind of slow. But its not a real obstacle if you stay on the first floor

If you book here I recommend a riverview room.
The hotel is on a short street where everyone comes to take pictures of the temple which is across the river.
It’s also right next to the temple grounds of the famous Reclining Buddha.
I was surprised how small the hotel was, I think there’s only about eight to ten rooms, but it was a pleasant surprise when I entered my room.

The aircon is noisy and couldn’t be turned all the way down.

Inn a day was a fabulous find, a wonderfull family run Boutique hotel with everything you need! The staff are so accommodating and very helpful , nothing is too much trouble ! Very quiet,safe & secure , We originally booked a room with a street view thinking we wouldn’t be in the room enough to appreciate the river view but when we got there and saw the temple across the river we asked if it was possible to pay for an upgrade and the view was amazing! In saying that you really won’t miss out if you choose the room without a view & being able to see both rooms I can tell you they were exactly the same size both with a balcony very comfortable and clean with everything you need inc a small fridge. there are views from the breakfast area and the roof top bar where we had our welcome cocktail and stayed for a stunning sunset 🍹 they also have a ground floor restaurant that I would highly recommend . We paid for breakfast that was A la cart with many choices ! It’s a great little area with many restaurants, massage places and a tuc tuc & taxi rank at the end of the street if you need .

This place is such a gems! We stayed in Bangkok many times, but this is our favorite hotel and location by far. We booked a room with a direct view on the river, and it was STUNNING! Besides, the restaurant for breakfast is absolutely beautiful and the hotel gave us free drinks to enjoy on their rooftop!

We were a bit worried about the noise, since it's close to the river and the hotel has a restaurant + rooftop, but it was so quiet! We slept like babies!

The overall design of the hotel is so thoughtful. Congrats to the architect and designer, they have really nice taste!

I highly recommend Inn A Day for your stay in Bangkok! You won't regret! 10 out of 10 without hesitation.
