Royal Sonesta Harbor Court Hotel, Baltimore

The hotel was in a great location. Close to so many restaurants and local attractions. The hotel was clean and staff was friendly. I loved how spacious the room was and the view of the Harbor was nice. Hot tub was relaxing and pool was a perfect temperature. Lovely hotel overall.

I felt like in the morning I could hear every sound and every voice carrying loudly. Walls seem a bit thin but the night before it was perfect.

The hotel is great. The view looking at the harbor was beautiful, especially at night. We ate breakfast at the restaurant on sight, which was delicious.

The walk from the parking lot to the hotel fron5 desk was a little strenuous for myself because of walking disability.

The room was spacious and had a separate space near the bathroom that allowed for colleagues sharing a room to have privacy when changing and not wake each other when coming and going at different times.

The hot tub in the pool area was in a lovely setting, but by the end of the night, the water level was low, below the jets, and the temperature was lukewarm to an extent that made me concerned that it might not be hygienic. Hot tubs should not be lukewarm. But, the pool was nice.

The location is absolutely great! The hotel itself a bit older also from the style, but all was very clean and comfy! Pool upstairs was nice for kids, but not a nice atmosphere up there to relax. Chairs had old pillows on and the overall style seemed old. Also the images in the corridors were old and bleached as if from the 70s silk hanging. All in all a good experiences but with an older look.

Staff didn't seem interested in helping much when I went to the Front Desk to ask questions. Didn't feel particularly welcome. Just another reservation. Eating options very limited. Pool was way way over chlorinated. After 5 minutes in hot tub had to get out.

Kind of old and it felt like a bit unused.

Kevin the bartender was awesome . Had a great view . The hot tub and pool were nice and everything was clean .

The room was spacious and the bathroom felt like a "little luxury". The bed was very comfortable. The bartender was wonderful!

The hot tub was out of commission, which was part of the reason we chose the hotel.

The staff at check-in were great, and the room was really nice. The parking situation was convenient and well proportioned.

The noise at night was crazy. It was like there was a sorority party going on. The entire floor smelled like weed and there were instances of VERY intoxicated women crawling on the hallway floor.

Getting to the parking garage is a bit awkward with young children and luggage.

This hotel lobby needs a serious makeover. Unsavory free and paid coffee. Charges a useless "Resort Fee".

Location was great and the rooms for spacious and very clean.

We stayed at the Harbor Court several times many years ago for New Years Eve and we always enjoyed the bar / lounge that was in a library setting. We missed having that setting to sit and have a cocktail.

Hotel seems a bit aged

Excellent staff who put customer service first! Had an issue caused by my travel app that they took care of. Thanks! Room & bath were spacious and clean. Bed was comfy. Enjoyed the harbor view from my upgraded room. Had minor issues with the coffee maker & lamp but in a classy gesture hotel issued a hospitality credit. Would come again!

On premise restaurant only serves dinner. Would have like to be able to get a hot breakfast or lunch.

The room was wide and the bad was very comfortable. The bathroom was OK too. The position od the hotel is very convenient to visit the old harbour.

I was given a room with a broken heating system (in December!) and it took my a couple of days to convince the staff to isell someone to fix it (which didn't happen) and finally I obtained to switch to another room (which was perfectly OK with a functioning heating). So, at the end everything was fine, but the first night and day I was literally freezing!

Very pretty lobby. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Pool area and gym was well equipped. They have a sauna in the locker room. Room had all amenities needed and was clean.

The location is perfect for those looking to be at the harbor. We stayed in a harbor view room and besides the fact that the view was partially obstructed by the top of the roof it was beautiful! The hot tub, pool and saunas in the locker rooms were AMAZING! They also have free yoga during the weekdays which was very nice! I wish they offered spa treatments.

They need to upgrade TVs to smart TVs, clean the baseboards in the bathrooms, repair structural damage in the ceilings of the pool area, and offer a reduced rate for parking. Parking was pretty expensive. For the harbor view rooms they should note the view may be obstructed by the roof and indicate which rooms have the full view of the harbor with no obstructions.

the bathroom door didn't close properly. when it did finally close, askew fell from the air vent in the ceiling into the toilet. Parking should be listed as add-on when paying for the room.

Central and safe location, friendly and helpful staff, very clean.

The shower water temperature would not get above "warm" every time we showered over the three days we were there. Walls were thin, could hear a clear conversation of couple next door.

location across from Christmas Village was perfect. Teh harbor view was very nice as well. convenient to train station and restaurant.

Very loud the evening we arrived because of a large group arriving back to hotel after an event. Luckily the rooms are relatively quiet as some of these people were on our floor.

The hotel was gorgeous. The staff was very friendly and informative. Easy layout to navigate and had no issues with noise in the hallways or issues with the room. The view of the water was lovely as well. Loved the window with couch to watch the sunrise and the bed was very comfortable and room temperature was great! Also loved the overall space and size of the room.

I only had two areas that were good but not great for me. In 2024 I was disappointed that there was a lack of streaming capabilities for the TVs it’s something I’ve grown accustomed to when going to hotels to have a more personalized viewing experience in the room. Secondly and this may be an issue for some but not all but the shower did not get hot enough for me. Especially on a winter stay I would’ve loved a nice hot steamy shower but the water never got above warm at best. Not sure what can be done about that but it was a minor blip on my stay. Everything else was fantastic

Location - cleanliness

The location was great, beds were comfortable, bathroom was clean and spacious. One of the staff was kind enough to bring us a microwave so we didn't have to keep going downstairs to ask.

That the parking method could of been better but not the end of the world

Hotel had no bellman or people to get luggage into rooms on checkin. Only had 1 guy doing cars in front. Front desk was very nice but again not enough staff.

Nice view of the harbor. Staff very pleasant.

Dated. Check bedding. Stains on sheets. Carpets, need cleaning. We were put on the 6th floor, on a weekend where 3 wedding were taking place. NO sleep on our end. People coming and going as well as LOUD all night.

Soft beds

The hotel was reasonably priced for the area, and incredibly convenient to the Inner Harbor. My room was very clean and spacious, bed was comfortable, and it was quiet (other than an intermittent background hum that I think was the elevators moving up and down, as I was right next to them). I didn't interact much with staff, but they were very friendly and attentive when I did.

Parking was expensive. Everything was clean, but the couch in my room was very threadbare. My room was right next to the elevators, and while it wasn't loud, I could hear the machinery whirring often.

The staff were so welcoming from the valet to the attendants.

Service at Explorers Restaurant was excellent, as was the food. The pool area was clean and well-kept. the view of the harbor from our room was spectacular.

Only one receptionist was checking people into the hotel when we arrived, even though there were two on duty, and the line waiting to check in was four people long. Later in the evening after eating at Explorers Restaurant, we returned to our room only to find our key card did not open the door to our room. There was a hall door that did not accept our key card, and this kept us from even getting to our room door. The reception desk was vacant and did not even answer the phone. Finally, I had to go downstairs to find a receptionist, who was not in sight, and she re-keyed our key cards. These did not work on the hall door. When getting back to the receptionist, she said security would have to open the hall door. We waited outside in the hallway for 25 minutes for security to open the hall door. Security told us she did not know why the key cards would not open the hall door, and that this was a recurring problem. This should not have happened, as it seriously detracted from a lovely evening, and took an hour away from our time in the room.

Clean, staff was great, Kevin the bartender is a cool dude. A lot in walking distance and felt safe the whole time. Will be back again someday.

Wish the little snack shack thing was open later. But just plan accordingly and have late night snacks ahead of time
