Hotel Electra Palace, Athens

3 weeks in Europe and this was hands down the best breakfast with a view....plus super helpful staff, great location, extremely comfortable beds. Rooms a little dated but otherwise a great stay.

Location was perfect Our view was AMAZING Staff always so polite and helpful Great with kids AND FOR KIDS! Pool was AMAZING Kids love the chips at the pool they said BREAKFAST is the best we have had in Greece Every time we come we stay here!

If I have be picky I think honestly too much furniture in the room that’s up the room and you don’t use it! That’s only being picky with space in the room!

Location was perfect! Room was clean, quiet and luxurious. Beds were very comfortable. The breakfast (included) is incredible. Countless options, and we are looking over the acropolis on the patio. The staff was incredibly kind and helpful.

The room was disappointing and far below the standard of the rest of the hotel. Peeling laminate floors, poor sound insulation and low quality pillows.

Great location with spectacular views. Nice facilities inc. spa. The restaurant downstairs was fantastic. Best meal I’d had in Greece. Lovely services focused staff. They accommodated my request for 2 rooms together on a high floor even with little notice (48 hours before) and a very late checkout (with extra payment).

The classic room and bathroom were small. I would suggest an upgrade if you want more space. The outdoor pool was small for the number of guests ie. it got extremely busy and hard to find somewhere to sit but we still appreciated having a pool on a scorching summer’s day.

Buffet Breakfast was the BEST breakfast we had during our entire 5 week travel throughout Europe! Everywhere else was average. Location was perfect. Walking distance to all things we enjoyed - graat shopping precent, plaka centre , atteactions, restaurants , bars etc.

The 3rd bed. We had a room for 3 and one was a sofa couch and not as comfortable. Would have been better with 3 x beds or a double and single bed. We didnt raise it as an issue as we booked two rooms. One child ended up sleeping in the other room and sharing the bed with the dad.

I loved the facilities, it was really well maintained. The view from the Acropolis rooms are breathtaking. We loved the whole experience, from breakfast, to dinner with gorgeous views. ALL the staff were friendly and so attentive.

The only complaint is the outdoor pool is a little small and there wasn’t enough chairs. Families were putting their towels but were not there. Some additional shaded areas by the pool would be nice. But it is not the hotels fault that people were rude and hogging all the chairs.

A beautiful hotel in the heart of Athens with i think the best ever view I have seen- the view from pool and roof top restaurant is breath taking! The staff are exceptional and the most comfortable pillows ever! My room was well equipped and of a super high standard. I love Athens and this was my best visit because of the hotel

The pool has a great view. I wish it didn't close at 8 pm. The breakfast is wonderful.

Our room was a bit small and looked into the balconies of other rooms. We did not have a balcony. I inquired about changing rooms, but they were full our first night. They said they would leave a note for the front desk for the next day but we never heard back during our 3 night stay.

The perfect hotel when staying in Athens

Our room was a "triple" and comfortably slept 3 and could easily sleep 4 (especially if some were children). There were two full beds and the couch was done up as a separate bed and was extremely comfortable. Sheets were great. They had room attendants three times a day! The curtains kept the morning sun out and allowed us to sleep in. Breakfast was included and was exceptional. The service was great all around. I ordered a bucket of ice through room service and it was at my door in 5 minutes.

The pool was nice but the hours were limited (10am to 8pm). We would have swam before going out in the morning. It was always quite crowded but spots opened up every 10-15 minutes. The bean bag chairs were surprisingly comfortable. Families definitely camped out on the shaded lounges so those were hard to come by.

Friendly reception staff. We had a checkout at 05h00 - taxi was booked and breakfast box ready. We had a delicious meal in the rooftop restaurant. Location was so easy to walk to all the shops.

We had two rooms one with a renovated bathroom and one without, We prefered the bathroom that had been renovated and didnt have the shower in the bath.

The hotel is in a fantastic location, just a short stroll from Plaka and with amazing views of the acropolis. The staff were also wonderful and couldn't do enough for you. Would definitely stay again.

We loved our stay ,from the beautiful sparkling pool and view to the delicious breakfast,all was just perfect .We loved the renovated suite, the fantastic evening meal , cocktails at the pool bar! All special and perfect !

Amazing location and pool, with breathtaking views on acropolis. Restaurant was also very good.

Our room was on 7th floor, just under the restaurant. That caused a lot of noise (chairs moving) at both evening (dinner) and early morning (breakfast) times. For a 5star hotel that should be fixed.

It was in a fabulous location to everything within walking distance. You could see the top of the Acropolis from our rooftop pool and while eating breakfast in their restaurant. It was clean and very elegant.

The hotel staff was extremely helpful with everything. We arrived at 8am and they held our luggage for us while we spent the day walking around Athens and visiting the Acropolis. They spoiled my adult daughter and I, and we could tell they were treating all of the other guests the same. Great job Electra Palace!

I loved the pool and the top floor area with the view of the Acropolis.

All the pillows were very high, so it was a bit difficult for someone who sleeps on their stomach. Preferable to give a thinner one to accommodate different sleepers.
