Professional, friendly, and very responsive. I’d call them at 2 am asking for a lower pillow and it would be by my door in seconds. The receptionists were all so kind and gave us great recommendations for places to visit. The breakfast was amazing with freshly squeezed orange juice and a great variety of local specialties. We sat outside where we could see the acropolis and took many pictures. I have found my favorite hotel in Athens and I will be booking it again if I ever visit Athens again. The indoor pool was amazing for the kids. Warm and big. It had TV channels from all over the world. It was impressive frankly. The location was in the heart of Plaka. We just walked around everywhere from our hotel. Very convenient.

The pool water was salty! It was not a pleasant thing frankly. Some of the TV channels were blurry.

Hi, we wanted to thank you for our stay at the hotel. The staff was amazing throughout the service and went out of their way for us. Especially George, who turned the world upside down for us on the last day when our friend was sick. Everything that was done for us was not taken for granted at all. I have no doubt that we will return to this hotel in the future. Thank you very much.

Pool did not allow our some who was 12 yo to swim with us as it was after 2pm. The adults in the pool wr making more noise than children, that was the only disappointment

My husb and I stayed for 3nights and it was just perfect...hotel location is practically near to all attractions..hotel and room is very clean n we were constantly attended by housekeeping staff to ensure our comfort..front desk was especially helpful with all our requests..food at bfast was amazing and so was the view. Can't say enough how good our stay was at Electra Palace.

It is an excellent location that is extremely convenient and comfortable. I love the roof-garden view of the Acropolis daily while having breakfast. The front desk folks are so kind and helpful!

Maybe I stay longer nights than usual. The housekeeping occasionally misses something, such as a new tissue box, cotton swabs, etc. However, to me, these are minor weaknesses.

Great location in the center of the city, easily walkable everywhere fun, nice staff. Very good roof top restaurant with amazing views and a excellent food to that. Great breakfast at the same restaurant.

We liked everything about the hotel, but on the day that we were supposed to leave, the roads in the entire immediate area were closed because of some bike race and we had hard time getting out on time. The staff were very helpful trying to get us out

Location. Quiet. Walking distance to Acropolis and the Acropolis museum. Outstanding breakfast. Front desk was friendly and helpful. We ate at both of their restaurants which were very good.

Dinner at the rooftop dinig area. Too expensive for the quality. You eat better in other restaurants. The view here is what you pay for.

Views are breathtaking (during breakfast or dinner). Proximity to major attractions such as acropolis, etc is convenient.

Rooms were very clean. The staff were all very friendly. High quality sheets on the bed. Bathroom amenities were great and nice to have a robe as well. Free water first 2 nights, nothing the 3rd. We overheard another couple say they got a free bottle of wine for signing up for the loyalty program which we did too but didn't get. Location in Plaka is pretty good. The view from the 8th floor bar/breakfast room is amazing, don't miss it! Nespresso in the room is a nice touch.

*No power outlets at the bedside* I mean come on, really?! There were 2 outlets at the desk across the room and one buried in the closet by the front door. I know you don't go to a place like this to work but in order to charge electronics, plug in some hair tools, make an espresso in the morning it got challenging and we were constantly unplugging/replugging and unfortunately I did have to do an hour of work per day so needed to charge phone, laptop etc. Beds were a bit bouncy, but we got a decent night's sleep. Rooms are on the small side. The walls were pretty thin, we could easily hear the people next to us but thankfully nothing above us which I think is worse. Outdoor pool isn't heated and was closed, would have been nice to publicize that it closes Nov 1 and we missed that date by only a day. Breakfast area where the buffet is is too small. Most mornings it was like a full contact sport to get food. They tried to keep up but often plates were empty as some people were a bit on the greedy side on what they took. Custom coffee drink orders are free but they don't tell you that and just ask if you want coffee and OJ and they bring typical weak hotel coffee in a carafe; so do yourself a favor and get a latte or cappuccino. Selection was vast/excellent but quality on some of the items felt a little lacking since they have to feed so many people. (We had a better quality breakfast at a small boutique hotel in Monastiraki). I hate to complain since it is a very nice hotel and everyone was friendly but for the price, I would stay elsewhere with larger rooms, a more personal touch and at a lower cost. We only had 2 carry on size bags and struggled to put them somewhere in order to not walk around them/trip; we ended up pushing the chair and side table into a corner to free up some space. I researched hotels forever before picking this one as a splurge, I don't regret despite my negative comments here...

The Electra Palace is the perfect location in Athens a short walk to the cafes and shops and Acropolis. We really enjoyed the stunning views from the 8th floor bar and restaurant.

Unfortunately it rained in Athens when we were there and this meant that the outside area of the restaurant could not be used and everyone had breakfast indoors. The queue for breakfast was enormous and we were asked therefore to sit at a table with another family. They were a delightful family, but I can help feel for the staff who did a great job of clearing tables quickly and efficiently to get through the queue. This should not be happening in my opinion and management are accountable and should take more initiative on these days … we all have access to accurate weather forecasts. There were areas I noticed in the hotel that could accommodate a ‘rainy day’ breakfasts maybe. Felt sorry for the staff more than anything.

We enjoyed the buffet breakfast both mornings we were there. The beautiful rooftop restaurant was spectacular! Loved being able to see the Acropolis while we enjoyed breakfasts and a dinner. Spectacular view!💕

The restaurant views are phenomenal. We ate dinner when we arrived for the evening views and don’t miss breakfast. One of the best included hotel breakfasts in the world.

The gym facilities are rather small and the main restaurant menu was somewhat restricted/expensive given the range of choice and competition within the immediate vicinity.

Wait time for taxi services. We walked everywhere so not a big deal. Make sure you leave enough time for the trip to the airport.
