The whole place can do with a bit more lighting. It’s quite dark especially the lifts.

The bathroom desing is not practical. Old building, too dark and too noise all night

How hot the hotel was and the fact the air con didn't add much comfort, also very noisy with doors slamming. And being next to the Wow suite holding large numbers of people making alot of noise.

The restaurants and rooftop bars were amazing, also the spa was fab

Second time visiting, we found this time the hotel was very dated, felt the hotel and rooms were quite grubby. Not the 5* experience that you pay for. The cleanliness of the hotel has extremely gone down since the last time we visited. Didn’t like that the lifts to the floors 1A + B, 2A + B, etc one lift had broken down so we kept having to use the staff lift that had a very bad smell and was extremely dirty. The lift was out of use the whole time we were there. We took the stairs some times but not what you want after walking the city. Hotel did provide us with free late checkout until 2pm which was lovely.

I love the room. It was nice, comfy and clean Great location too and the breakfast was great also.

Great location, smart style, pleasant staff. I’d let them know if was my partner’s birthday and they’d arranged for complimentary Prosecco and macarons to our room on arrival.

No balconies in the rooms

Facilities spread over 2 building so I had to go outside in the rain at 6am to use the gym. A lot of noise in the evening from music so I struggled to sleep. Nothing clearly signed in the hotel and not many staff to ask for directions. I would have expected breakfast to be included for £400 per night.

Extremely central, convenient location, helpful staff, and a stylish, comfortable, well-appointed, room.

A decisive factor in selecting this hotel was the rooftop pool - but it was shut. Very disappointing - and strange that the hotel didn't mention it in the pre-arrival-info email. UPDATE: Having messaged the hotel about this disappointment, I received extremely gracious emails from both the Duty Manager and the General Manager, the latter of whom in particular went out of his way to explain the pool had been open and that we had just been misinformed - but also to make offers of accessing the pool and other amends for the next time we are in Amsterdam. An unusual and impressive level of attention to communication from guests - we were grateful for it and thought it was important to note here, too.

It wasn’t really really clean and although I did book the cheapest room it was very very small and compact

Stylish hotel and the room was quirky. I didn't eat in the hotel, so can't comment, but the staff were all really friendly and the location is great.

I didn't like the split property, so the reception is across the street from the rooms and It all felt a bit disjointed to be honest. Lovely hotel though,

W lounge, we started our evening here, lounge reception staff were rude, we waited around 45mins to be served and a further 20minutes for our drinks. It wasn’t possible to order at the bar, it was table service without the service.

The suite was lovely and intimate in terms of aesthetics. The reception staff was very helpful and gave me a nice gift as I left. They made it nice as it was for my anniversary and provided Prosecco and a lovely heart chocolate & card.

Not a fan of the shower in the room as it was small for a suite. There was nowhere to hang towels. The check in and out staff was not the best and a little rude. The in room dining charged for delivery which I have never seen at a hotel before. The lighting in the room wasn’t the best and for a suite it wasn’t greatly noise insulated as I could hear other people talking outside and slamming doors. The upstairs TV had no connection to chrome cast and could only watch normal tv which was annoying as the downstairs one worked perfectly. The iPad in the room was pointless as it did not work and had a date on it from 2007.

Our room was a let down. Very cramped, we booked a city view which was a very small window facing some air conditioning units. The room layout was bizarre. The shower felt like a cupboard and left me feeling claustrophobic. Was very much looking forward to my stay but the room left me feeling disappointed

The location was great and the room was nice.

The staff were at times rude, a security guard particularly in the W Lounge on Saturday night when my husband and I asked for a table (in a more or less empty lounge), we were told it was closed as they had an event on but then let in straight away by another member of staff who told us they weren't closed. Once in the lounge we waited 15 minutes before we could order a drink and there was absolutely no desire from any of the members of staff to serve us nor the four other people in the lounge whilst they were getting ready for their 'event'. Staff then continued to push and kick tables and stools along the floor next to us and bang furniture around to get ready for their 'event'.

I was overcharged for my stay and I haven't been paid it back just yet, also it wasn't the cleanest hotel for the price being paid!

Rooms for the price we paid very small and bars and restaurants top floor very inconvenient for someone who has a phobia of elavators

Maybe the price was a bit more than expected for that level of hotel. Also because I booked throuhgh Booking.com it was hard to manage any changes to the bookings on site and also as we were traveling as a group by I was paying for everything that became an issue as we booked through Booking.com

The location was excellent, the staff at the front desk were friendly, and I would like to specially thank Anastisia, the front desk manager who looked after us during our stay. They even sent us cake and chocolate to the room as it was our anniversary. The restaurant Mr. Porter is amazing, the best steak I ever tasted. The bed was very comfortable as well.

The jacuzzi was not working at the spa

Receptionist staff was very friendly and accommodated an early check in. Rooftop lounge, bar, and restaurant area, vibe, and view was nice. Good location.

Rooms were okay, breakfast staff not friendly or accommodating. Doorman was very rude and unfriendly, don’t rely on him for booking you a taxi to the airport.

When I extend my stay booking.com charged my credit card and also when I extend Stay, I need to pay again to the front desk  I’m not sure if booking.com is took the provision or they got charge  at the checkout I wanted to taxi and that they arrange me private car and he charge me €70 for airport dont take advantage of guest it is not nice
