There was no window that could be opened for fresh air.

The shared spaces were nice, and I really enjoyed the experience of taking the ferry to reach that part of the city. Overall, I found staying in that area more enjoyable than being in the city centre. Plus, the breakfast was quite good for the price

Taking a shower meant splashing water all over the toilet and the shower pod, which wasn’t ideal. The room itself was quite small, with no wardrobe, and although it was a private room, I expected much better natural light.

The location is unbeatable! Close to restaurants, ferry and Central Station. Less crowded than the other side of the river which makes biking easier.

Mess up with check-ins and assigned beds. I checked in, was given a bed but when I went to the room, someone else already was there and was given the bed. After I asked the staff to replace it, which they did, the new bed ALSO was taken, but fortunately another bed was free in the same room, so I ended up sleeping in that. This should be sorted out.

We appreciated the location, it was clean and well organised, the staff was nice and polite.

There were few lockers, the price was too high for an hostel, the shower was uncomfortable.

Was kept awake almost the whole night by my roommates, there’s not much the staff could do about that but it made it more uncomfortable for me

Location and atmosphere

Nothing it was good

I really liked the location and the well-functioning AC — it made sleeping at night very comfortable. The digital room keys were super convenient. Breakfast was nice, and the common areas were great for relaxing or having lunch/dinner. Plus, there were lots of game available, which was a fun touch!

The rooms were tiny — there was literally no space for 4 people to move around. The sink in the shower room was clogged during my stay. There definitely weren’t enough hooks or shelves, both in the rooms and in the bathrooms. The lockers were uncomfortable to use and didn’t have locks — you have to bring your own or buy one at reception. Also, the pillow was way too soft — really needs replacing.

Location is great. Staff is very polite and helpful.

This is a very socialable hostel. Despite being on the other side of the river it's a very short walk and ferry from the center. Games were great and the bar was a great plus. Great value for money.

There was a lack of kitchen. But that's the only negative really

The hostel is located a quick (free) ferry ride from the main station, which is pretty nice. Hostel events were fun and a good way to meet people. Bar and food weren't insanely priced. Beds and pillows were comfortable. View from the room was nice. I stayed in a 4 bed female dorm. Had a separate bathroom and shower located in the room, which was nice. And then extra toilets and shower for the whole floor available as well.

Be aware that this hostel has no kitchen for you to cook in. So, you need to rely on supermarkets or restaurants, which is a little annoying if you are looking to save money. However, the food on site wasn't insanely priced for Amsterdam. The location is close to the central station, but can be a little annoying traveling over the ferry everyday. I could hear everything in the hall through the door to my room.

The usb charger happens to be broken. The shampoo for my room has run out.

The sink was clogged. Someone shaved and we could not wash it of. Locks for the cabinets need to be bought if you want cabinets in the room to be locked. Maybe I just got used to hostels that have lockers inside the room for a guest but that was inconvenient

Location is good. Close to the station and the area is quiet.

There was no ramp at the enterance. That makes hard to access.

I stayed in a 4 bed female only room. It was great. Quiet location and all females were quiet, respectful etc so good experience. I slept well. Toilet and separate shower in the room and plenty of showers and toilets around too. All clean.

The rooms have slight AC but it was comfortable enough, even during the heat wave! The beds were comfy and the room was clean. Lots of social space and great location using the free ferry which takes one minute to cross the river. Would stay here again.

There was not even a microwave or hot wáter to make some tea without having to buy it.

I stayed here for 5 nights and overall had a good experience. The hostel has a great vibe — modern look and feel, and there’s always something happening. They organize multiple events during the week, which is great for meeting people. There’s a ping-pong table, pool table, bar, and a communal kitchen. All of them have to pay to use it The breakfast buffet was decent for €10. It included scrambled eggs, juice, bread, pancakes, cheese, and jam — not exceptional, but a good way to start the day. I stayed in a 4-bed room. The bathroom setup was practical: one room for the toilet and a separate one for the shower. Each bed had a power outlet, two USB ports, and a reading light. The mattress was comfortable enough

there was no microwave, which was a bit inconvenient. The pillow was really bad — probably a 1/10. Definitely something the hostel could improve.

Friendly, generally clean, great location.

The shared space and the bar is pretty big. They’ve got plenty of seats and table to chill. Staff was nice and I felt everything was well organized.

Design of the shower room is not great. There’s no wall between the shower and the other area, so floor gets very wet and you need to go back to your bed area with your feet soaked. Also the room is pretty small so you should go to the common space to relax.

Easy check in I like the atmosphere of the communal area, nice music, possibility to charge your phone, order a coffee Staff was ok, especially the french guy. Not far from the station and easy access to Amsterdam center

- no tissues in the bathroom - not enough area where to put your stuff in the room - shower spills water everywhere, making the bathroom become a swimming pool - it could be more sockets to charge phones in the commune area

We found a few hairs on the sink and fake eye lashes (5 of them) on one of the beds. It was really disgusting.

Location is very good, everything is accessible by walk and ferry. Bed are comfy too. Lot of showers and bathrooms in each floor.

I do not recommend for solo travelers because there’s not a lot of solo, it’s more couples, school class, group friends that come so it’s difficult to socialize. There was nobody in the activities for solo people except me. There was also no tour. My room was cleaned only one time during my one week stay and you cant open the windows so its smells bad. The staff was 50/50, some were nice and some not. Also first time i see a hostel where you have to pay for almost everything including towels.

Close to the station, but in a rather quiet area, ferrys from the station to this location run 24h, so it very convenient.

The lockers did not work and one has to have wifi for check in, a bit unconvenient when travelling from abroad.

This was the cheaper of options available in Amsterdam. We had a private bunk beds room with private ensuite. It was compact but clean and the location is easily accessible via ferry to the city. Nice communal areas for hanging out in. All ages at this hostel.

Bathroom could have used a fan so it didn't make the room humid after showering. As the there was no opening window it did get stuffy but for two nights it was fine.

It was not possible to open the window in the room, and there was no heads up about this. Also, the window in the room is tiny and is inside the courtyard,therefore, there is no sunlight. Some employees were not friendly enough, not willing to help, or perhaps it is a local mentality. Overall it was not bad experience but those small details influenced my positive evaluation.

The room, though small, had everything we needed for our stay. Very clean and the beds were comfortable. Very close to Centraal Station - the ferries run all the time and you don't have to wait long. The hostel does some neat things to engage people. Communication was excellent.

Just know that, like many rooms in Europe, it will be a little small. Still, everything was great.

- No kitchen with e.g. a microwave to warm up food. - The patio area was nice, but two out of the four days I was there, it was not accessible due to a private event. (The other days, it closed at 23:00.) - It was not possible to extend my stay even though I asked well in advance, so I had to resort to making a separate booking, which meant I had to switch rooms in the middle of my stay. Luckily the staff was nice and gave me a locker at no extra cost.
