Check in times are late, yet check out is early. No option to pay cash for anything in case of emergency

Breakfast was complete and it had nice facilities and spaces to relax.

I didn't like beds didn't have curtains and common bathrooms outside rooms were not very clean.

Decent bed privacy. Staff heaps friendly. Hostel itself very lovely and welcoming with good events etc. I'd stay here again.

Bathrooms were a bit dirty but that's to be expected in a young person hostel. Can't really fault the accomodation for that one.

I loved the community and most of the staff were very nice. I had made a mistake with the dates while booking and the man checking me in tried everything in his power to accommodate me. It was a very friendly and kind encounter. When I asked him to get a top bunk he listened and tried to make it possible for me. He made me feel very comfortable and safe in the hostel

When I was checking out I was asking a woman at the reception if I could leave my luggage there for 10 minutes to get some breakfast as I was already late. She refused and told me I cannot leave it unattended(which wasn’t my intention since I asked her if I could leave it with her. Instead she told me I need to pay a fee for a locker. I felt that this was a very rude thing especially for a community hostel like this. I know that they do it a lot in the US because of capitalism but I honestly expected more from this hostel, especially since everyone else was so friendly there.

The location was sensational- 24/7 free ferry ride after a 5 min walk to the heart of Amsterdam. Great restaurants close by on both sides of the river and even down river.

Got a little warm at night sometimes but the fan in the room helped…. This was only a minor issue as location and hostel was perfect

Convenient to train station with free ferry, adequate amount of bathrooms for 6 people if you include the bathroom and toilets in the hallway Good grocery store 3 min away

No working air condition /ventilation in 25c temperature nor any way to open a window. When we notified staff we were told to open door to hallway

The amount of social spaces! A lot of ways to meet new people. And the hostel is always doing events! Good location, I would take the free ferry every day. Cool staff!

The bed is kinda noisy and it moves quite a bit, I could feel the person above me moving every time.

The room was clean and the chai latte was good. Washing machines were easy to understand.

The Mac and cheese is just cheese sauce and plain pasta it was really rank. The dorms were apparently way too hot but private rooms have lovely air conditioning.

The toilets weren't clean most of the time. I understand that this is also caused because of the few toilets available for so many people but still.

The location is very good.its near the central station and besides a small liver，very quiet and have good scence.The public area is big and there is bar in it. The reception is very nice and helpful.

Rooms, bar and social spaces were fantastic. Location is spot on.

Bathrooms are communal and could have done with more frequent cleaning. No kitchen facilities and the breakfast was mediocre and bland.

The hostel is very close to the center and can be easily reached by free ferry. The room was small and dark. The environment is nice.

Great location - very close to the city centre, but without all the noise, beautiful and amazing old imdustry building with an interesting history, everything very clean and welcoming (both in communal areas and in our room)- and first and foremost, the nice, friendly and very helpful staff really adds a great ambience to the place.

Noise levels in the communal areas - ClinkNoord is clearly targeting a young audience of travellers, so we middle aged people are looking in vain for a quiet area to read a book or just sit around and chat during evenings. Please consider setting up a lounge-style area without agonizingly loud, thumping music. Also for the benefit of those young travellers who may want to rest their ears a bit. :-) Minor gripe: rooms with windows that cannot open may not go down too well with travellers with a claustrophobic bent. Would be great if you could let in some fresh air.

It didn't work for me. Younger crowds, and it was my first time sharing a room (dorm sryle). Had to try it out of curiosity.

Great location only 5 or 10 minutes from Central Station on one of the free ferries. Felt very safe travelling as a family with young children.

Excellent location and common areas. The bar was great addition and overall it was very pleasant for a solo traveler.

The showers had a bad pressure and toilets smelled bad even right after cleaning. But both were clean so the smell was the only problem. Room was a bit hot since no windows can be opened.
