The location was fun, the staff were friendly, there was access to a small locker after check-out for storage, a photo-booth, some activities on in the evening in the lounge area. Cafe and common spaces.

Could see quite a lot of dirt on the shower door etc, rooms need to be deep cleaned more often. The water in the shower goes everywhere and the protective screen barely helps with anything. A simple reusable squeegee for the floor would make a huge difference with this, otherwise the floor stays wet. Hot water access is far downstairs so it might get cold by the time you go back to your room. I felt itchy after waking up for some reason. The mattress did seen to have a protective cover for easy clean and prevent creatures though? 👍

The location is easy to access from the train station. Loved how many common spaces there are to use, super great installations. The rooms of 4 females are nice and quiet, with ensuite bathroom. Everything was clean overall and very nice looking !

Bigger common rooms were a no-go in comparison... Also it feels like you have to pay for everything besides your reservation, like not being able to just drop luggage while waiting for your room or after check-out (even if they have more than enough room to store it downstairs) :( unpleasant touch.

Very little space in 4-person rooms

Convenient and good value stopover in an excellent location for the station an city centre (short ride on over the water on the free, 24hr ferry). Not fancy but had everything I needed for a night's rest. Breakfast was highly recommended - I'm usually sceptical about hostel breakfasts but went for this one for convenience as I had to catch a train. In fact it was excellent value for money and a great selection of fresh food.

There was an issue where the shower wet room leaked water into the toilet next to it, so the floor in the loo was all wet (pretty sure it was that and not piss!). Also (not the hostel's fault) but there was a guy in my room who kept watching stuff on his phone without headphones or having phone conversations when I was trying to sleep. Why do people do that?!

I love the vibe of the hostel. As a first-timer, the facility was properly built and everything was ready. Looking forward to staying again.

The lighting in the room wasn't good; the single overhead light wasn't optimal, and the bunk bed lights were too bright (it would be nice to be able to adjust their brightness). Better lighting would make the room much nicer. A simple desk would help in the 2 person rooms. And the curtains didn't open all that much. The bathroom could use a scraper to make cleaning after showers easier; the water was just everywhere.

Hotel is loud all the time, you can head people in the rooms next to you so bring earplugs if you are a light sleeper.

The shower head you cannot take into your hand and properly wash your hair, because it's in the wall. You can't open the window for fresh air in the morning. There is no space like a small table when you need to put some things from your backpack.

Incredible location for where we were working during our stay, so accessible. The staff were lovely and very helpful. Beds were comfy, lockers were large, en-suites were fairly practical. Different room options were useful and in abundance, nice mixture of people, young and old. Mixed 8-bed dorm was spacious and practical. Great social space, bar and check in/ out service. Fun social events in the evening.

The rooms were fairly clean and the en-suite was cleaned daily but not to a very high / thorough standard. No where dry to place personal items in the shower room. Each bunk was allocated a locker but they were all taken by first people to arrive in the mixed dorm. We were in a mixed 8 bed dorm which was not ventilated sadly and consequently smelt awful. No microwave or communal kitchen to use if you wanted to prepare your own food.

It is pleasantly simple to find the hostel, and it is delightfully convenient for the city centre, being located literally just a matter of five minutes walk to the free ferry service which runs all night to the Central Station.

No complaints really, just a slight warning to the unsuspecting. Hidden costs can mount up if not careful e.g. people arriving before the 3pm check-in can use the reception area lockers to stow bags but these are chargeable according to duration of use. Having paid, I found that my two small cases would not quite fit in the space available, so I lost my payment. So I purchased a padlock for the locker associated with my bunk in the dormitory, but it was smaller than the reception area lockers, so I couldn't use it. I managed to get refunded for the €6.00 cost of the padlock, but only with persuasion. There is a charge for a towel too, so bring your own. Breakfast cost €9.90 and could have been better for the money.

It is close to the Amsterdam Central yet surrounding was quiet and calm

The location is really great and easily reachable from the Central Station. The corridors and rooms were clean. Although lightening around the rooms could be better.

The bathrooms and toilets did not have toilet papers or hand wash available for the whole duration of my stay. They were empty and no one bothered to replace them from the house keeping despite being present on the location. It was very difficult navigating around the entire hostel floors to find a bathroom that had papers or soap available.

The thing that bothered me most during my last three visits was the excessive noise in the corridors, with people shouting, swearing, or running around.

The bed is very comfortable and the crew is kind and helpful.

-will be very nice if can include breakfast if wanted. -alwais when you work with customer service is better if you are kind and smile and more when is people who is visiting your country for the first time.

Hard beds

Gnerally everything was amazing. Staff, facility, etc. Breakfast was great. I'll recommend anyone to get the brakfast for all days they're there since it costs you 1 EUR less for an advanced reservation at the reception. Beds are a little on the harder side, which I personally prefer due to my back. I slept well. Rooms have good temperature controls.

I had an issue with the soap dispenser of my room's toilet. It wasn't working like it normally should and was leaking soap. I did complain on the first evening I was there, and till the end of my stay, nothing was done about it. That was the only slight sad thing about the stay, so I'd have to use the common toilets instead of the one in my room. Luckily they were usually clean and nice. So no big deal but that was the only sad thing.

The location is perfect, you can reach everything by foot.

It would have been nice to have towels left by other guests be taken out of the room before our arrival.

The quality of the of the service will depend on who you find at the Reception desk. Some of them are really helpful and nice; others it’s like they’re obligated to be there. The room is not cleaned every day. When someone checks out they only make the bed to receive new guests. I asked for toilet paper and it took almost 24 hours for me to get it. The menu is very poor. Basically just junky food or salad. That’s not helpful at all for the fact that they don’t have a common chicken, microwaves, or nothing, similar.

The 4 bed female dorm was very clean, staff were very friendly and location was brilliant - right across from central station on the ferry and felt very safe.

The social atmosphere could have been better as a solo traveller, but also it was winter so understandable.

It was very decent. Location just off the ferry service. Basically next to amsterdam centraal, a ferry that connects every 3 minutes in rush-hour and at least every 10 minutes from like 6.30am till 12.30 am, and running all night

Stayed here many times back in the day

New checkin is confusing and you are just expected to know what to do. Also there used to be an option for 4 bed occupancy not 6. This is the first time I've been put up on the 3rd floor in a 6 man cabin

Had a great stay for a night in a four room for women. The location can't get any more central. The interior design is very nice and alternative. The structure of the building is very well thought and there is plenty of space well maintained on the ground floor. The guys working at reception were great at handling requests! Also very open to help and good at communicating. Very thankful to Marcus and Samuel! The bar area was very nice also! The girl working at the bar, Karina, was amazing! Fast serviced with a great attitude and the drinks were nicely done! Nice amenities for each bed, and the toilet and shower room was clean. The warm water didn't miss! Smooth elevator as well! And I enjoyed also the coffee from the next morning! Good experience overall! I recommend!

The room was a bit tiny and the beds could have been a bit bigger as I'm 1.80. But the overall comfort was good!

The size of room.

Excellent location. Only a short walk and free ferry ride from Central train station. Fun vibe with murals and comfy common places where to hang out. Impeccable cleanliness. Easy and fast check-in. Nice breakfast buffet and a bar.

Shower could be enclosed better in private single room. Water gets all over the bathroom floor. Not a big deal. Just put down a towel to contain the flood.

Very closed with train central station. Just take ferry 5 minutes from central station and then easy to walj to this hostel. Room very clean and have private bathroom room and toilet which size big enough. Buffet breakfast is ok only 9.90 euro per person.

The early check out which is at 10:00 then they block the entrance card and you can't access the room and your belongings, I was taking a shower at 9:50 didn't know this and gladly enough I had clothes to walk to the reception and ask to unblock the card to get my things back.
