The bathroom was not fixed when we asked 3 times for it to be fixed besides that it was beautiful

The only good thing about the hotel is the location and the view apart from that everything else is so bad

Extremely Disappointing Experience – Not Worth 5 Stars I rarely leave negative reviews, but my stay at the Pendry Washington DC was deeply disappointing and far from what you’d expect from a 5-star hotel. -Room service was extremely poor — slow, inattentive, and inconsistent. -Most of the staff lacked professionalism, with the exception of the manager who tried to help and was the only bright spot in our experience. -The breakfast was terrible: minimal variety and poor quality. Definitely not what you’d expect from a hotel in this category. -Most concerning was the financial mismanagement. The hotel charged a significantly higher amount than the actual cost of the stay. Multiple unauthorized transactions were made on my card without explanation. -When I approached the receptionist, she was shockingly rude, speaking to me in a condescending and disrespectful tone. Only after insisting to speak to the manager was I informed that there was a system glitch causing erroneous transactions — a very serious and unacceptable issue for any hotel, let alone a supposed 5-star establishment. This experience left me frustrated and disappointed.

Cleaning needs to be done in the corners/hard to reach places. On the floor under the lamps, in the corners etc LOTS of dust and hair.

Sofa bed was hard. Staff need better training and to ensure follow up after they have been made aware of an issue or request- it is not good enough to say " yes, sure, ma'am" and then do nothing - unprofessional.

The whole experience was great. Location, staff, Hotel. We loved how friendly the staff was. The restaurants are all great. And the pool is the best.

No water in the room

It was very clean. The staff was extremely professional and nice.

The shower was very slippery when first getting in.

Location, rooms, views, drinks, staff and overall hotel are top-notch! Hotel is situated in a prime location right on the Wharf and offers the best of any upscale hotel has to offer!

The only thing that was dissapointing was that I had to leave and I wish I would have planned for a longer stay!

Pool and facilities were outstanding. Loved our stay. Staff was very attentive.

Dishonest staffers who double charged us. The room is a closet. There is hardly a lobby. The hotel bar is nice but costs about double what it should.

the room was sparsely appointed. Not even a desk. There were no comforts beyond the necessary beds and chair. The bathrooms felt empty, not at all luxuriously fitted out beyond the marble-look tiles. it felt empty and cold.

We stayed here because it's in The Wharf, and we like visiting The Wharf once in a while.

The staff lied twice to our faces, and once on the phone. Our travel plans changed so we were repeatedly told if we booked for the new dates, they'd cancel the original booking. Literally right after the third promise from someone at the reception desk, we got an email that our request was denied. Cowardly, two-faced, low. The room was tiny bordering on claustrophobic, amenities nothing special, lobby bar dramatically overpriced. Simply put, this place sucks. Shady corporate practices to try to milk us for money, thankfully were able to get some of it back through a bank challenge. There are better options at The Wharf or elsewhere in D.C.

Almost everything is exact opposite of a luxury hotel experience which you would expect from $600+/night price tag. Not sure where to start 1st, rooms, added booking.com room details, it says 55m2, this is the most important info you should give precisely about a hotel room as families book rooms based on this info, but the real size of room is smaller even than the half of this claimed size, size is at most 26-27m2 (added photos for reference) to me claiming wrong size on room size kind of fraud 2nd, cleanness, that is by bare minimum expectation from a hotel room let alone a luxury one, room was the dirties room we have ever seen, dust was all over the place, as well as hair from previous guests, even a leftover of a french fries (taken photos of all these and report to front desk, as a courtesy they give us back the 50% of our first night fee, so not adding photos here as these are really embarrassing 3rd, amenities in room, no slipper, no shoehorn, no hotel treat, no laundry bags (not counting the plastic bag there) 4th, breakfast, as you may see in the booking confirmation it says breakfast included, when you say breakfast included it should be included, we book for 4 people as a family and apparently we learnt that there is no breakfast at all, hotel is giving you a $60 of daily breakfast credits which is far from being enough for 4 people to have a breakfast, added receipt for 4 people, that is without coffee and any drink, if these are ordered, with service and tax charges, 60$ is almost enough for half of hotel accommodators, either you should not say breakfast included and say giving breakfast credits or you should give a proper breakfast to your customers, to me this is also a kind of fraud 5th, how you treat your customers, added 2 memos from hotel in the bathroom and minibar, this is the first time I see something like this considering myself as senior traveller, you can not treat your customers as potential thief in a $600+/night hotel

Very nice and clean hotel. The staff was extremely friendly. The spa was wonderful. The rooms with the deluxe view are beautiful. Room service was great.

I think for the price of the stay there could have been some small perks. We were celebrating an important life event and would have been nice for a extra small touch.

i like that it’s a smaller hotel and a great location. The room was nice and the pool area was lovely.

the service overall needs a lot of work. the check in process was a cluster. two people to check in large groups and everyone else just isn’t enough. the food at flora flora was so so at best but the service was awful, especially at the bar. I think the property can be great if they get the service down.

I didn’t like how checkout time was 12pm, however, the housekeeping staff opened our door at 11:30am without knocking to “clean”. She then returned 15 minutes later (11:45am) with the manager who asked when I was checking out. Again check out time was noon and I was finishing my breakfast. I will not be returning to this hotel!

my guest room was supposed to came with a spa tub in didn’t have one all we had was a stand up shower in I had explained it was my anniversary in I would love them to make sure we had a spa tub in our room but nope no spa tub

The staff of the hotel were very helpful. They were always friendly. From the first day I checked in, till I checked out. The room was clean.

The pillows were not comfortable. The room seemed to be bigger in the pictures. The a/c was difficult to understand.
