The Peninsula, Istanbul

This was one of the worst hotel experiences I have ever had. The hotel made false promises about late checkout and then completely denied them with rude, unprofessional staff. Their behavior was not just disappointing, it was misleading and misconduct. What they advertise does not match reality. Guests are deceived and treated with no respect. I strongly warn others: do not trust this property, it is unreliable and dishonest.

My recent stay at the Peninsula Istanbul Hotel was nothing short of extraordinary. This seven-star hotel truly lives up to its reputation with its incredibly sophisticated room equipment and attention to detail. Every aspect of our stay was luxurious and thoughtfully curated. The hotel staff were exceptionally friendly and attentive, making us feel welcome throughout our visit. They went above and beyond to celebrate my husband's birthday, creating a memorable experience for us both. The spa was incredibly wow.It provided a perfect oasis of relaxation and rejuvenation, enhancing our luxury experience. Overall, we loved everything about our stay—it's a short yet fabulous getaway that I highly recommend to anyone seeking luxury and impeccable service.

The location is unsurpassed, on the European side but walking to the Asian side of the city. A restbite in a heaving metropolis. The view is amazing overlooking the river and the roof top bar a must for sundowners, cosy and sophisticated and great cocktails. All the staff were wonderful and couldn’t do more for you. special praise to the lovely Bora, the manager of the lobby restaurant, and the lovely lady at the concierge who organised a beautiful box of peninsula chocolates for me at short notice! ( sorry I didn’t get her name!)

Nothing it was superb as you would expect

The location is perfect for tourist! The hotel is new and clean. I like the spa zone very much, unfortunately we didn’t visit it at our first day and I regretted about this fact sooo much. Since the place is definitely worse to visit and spend more time to relax.

The Peninsula was truly perfect. Quiet luxury, practical, amazing staff, beautiful location. I loved having breakfast outside on the Bosphorous. The room was stunning as well, with a huge dressing room. The bathroom has the Toto toilet and a "shattaf" which is excellent. Cannot wait to come back.

There is always a bit of traffic outside the hotel (but that's not the hotel's fault!), and it is pricey. If you can afford it, it's more than worth it!

Best ever location, really easy to walk around and access the top sites the hotel quality is very premium (of course quite new), very well designed. The staff is best-in-class for all kind of support (desk, concierge, restaurant,...)

The hotel is perfectly located right next to the Karakoy ferry station. The staff is friendly and nice; the pool (actually, the room as well) overlooks Bosphorus, which is my favorite place to be, very quite and peaceful. The seafood pasta in the restaurant is actually the best pasta I've ever had, so highly, highly recommend this place for the luxurious stay in Istanbul. Thank you sooooo very much :)

No hot water in our bathroom in our last night. Quick call to the reception and they fixed it in half an hour. But same problem the following morning. You can't have a hotel of this category with this issue. Otherwise, a really execellent hotel.

This hotel is stunning. Probably the most luxurious hotel I’ve stayed at. Everything was 5 stars from the staff, the spacious rooms, decor, and food. Every detail was thought about. There wasn’t one thing I needed that they weren’t able to provide. I will definitely be staying here again.

Wow! Phenomenal facilities and a superb, responsive and exceptionally courteous staff that by themselves made the visit special. Achieving the balance between being attentive/caring vs. uncomfortably hovering/stalking is difficult, and this team got it right as hotels seldom do. Was prompted to look here after a great review in the Financial Times from July 2023 (https://www.ft.com/content/bc9d4d7d-623f-4e70-8bfa-99e1dfc2fa72).

Their own restaurant Gallata was closed for renovations during the visit -- bad timing on my part -- but a.] given the array of choices outside the hotel, this was hardly a major concern, and b.] I am sure that what comes out of the renovation will be spectacular.

Very nice design, contemporary and elegant, loved the spa, enjoyed the view from the bathroom window. Stunning place for breakfast near the Bosphorus and actually a good breakfast. Great ambience and food at dinner

Construction near the port, so it makes difficult for taxi to access the hotel. Not all the rooms at all have a nice view from the window, and the ones that are really good are way too expensive

dirty location we had an accident noone helped us waited for the police for 2 hours

first they offer me not a good room l refuse…then they give me a better room.
