Hotel Metropol, Warsaw

Hotel is quite new and everything looks new and clean. Staff is excellent. Breakfast area is a bit small /crowded. Breakfast itself is nice with some variety. Location is really good with many public transport options right on doorstep.

Room has a balcony, but it is completely covered by a huge advertisement. Hence, you can see hardly anything else than a white background. Would have been nice to have a drink and enjoy the city view but alas, this is not possible.

15 minutes from the city center. Nice breakfast included.

The windows faced the street, and it was difficult to sleep.

From the moment I arrived, the staff were incredibly kind, professional, and genuinely helpful – something that, sadly, isn’t always the norm these days. They took the time to explain everything clearly and went out of their way to accommodate my specific requests, especially around storing my luggage and arranging a few things in advance. I really appreciated that level of care. The room itself was spotless, well-maintained, and exactly like the photos – which is always a relief. Comfortable, quiet, and everything I needed for a relaxing stay. The breakfast service was also excellent: great variety, fresh food, and attentive staff making sure everything ran smoothly. Overall, I felt genuinely welcomed and well taken care of. It’s rare to find this combination of great service, clean and comfortable rooms, and friendly, attentive staff. I’d happily stay here again and highly recommend it to others.

The hotel has a very good location, the rooms are fair, the breakfast was very nice. We appreciated the extra despenser for water and a coffee corner in the room.

The hotel rooms are a bit small but for a short term visit they are enough. The airconditioning was not working properly and switching off by itself without reaching the wanted temperature,so it was a bit too hot in the room.

Everything was excellent and the accomodation was very good. Recommended!

The hotel has excellent localization and the rooms are very clean - huge shoutout to the cleaning staff, who are doing a really good job!

I used to stay in Hotel Metropol a lot in the past each time I had a business trip to Warsaw. While the hotel rooms are a bit older and not as convenient as other hotels in the neighborhood, the hotel's strongest point was the food: they had a really good restaurant and fantastic breakfasts. Having returned for a short stay after a longer while I was disappointed to learn that the breakfasts and restaurant weren't as good as they used to be. The hotel is not bad, but it's not a "fantastic" hotel as it lost its strongest points. To me it’s a solid 7/10, though I would choose the nearby Novotel, or the more expensive Polonia Palace instead

Our room card didn't always work in the elevator, causing it to stall on lobby floor.

There was a long, black hair on the walls of a shower, which I disliked a lot.

Room smells of new paint, a bit noisy due to facing the the busy street. Despite a nice balcony, the whole view is blocked by a huge billboard.

I liked that the family rooms were really spacious and that when we complained about the mattress of the bed sofa, they transferred us to a refurbished room on the 1st floor with two queen beds.

The smell in room 501, the mattress of the bed sofa in room 501 and the beds in room 101 could be king size.

We're staying at the hotel Metropol for the second time — it's super convenient, a short walking distance from the central railway station, the rooms are tidy, well-equipped and quiet. Everything you need to have a good rest while in Warsaw.

Perfect location @ reasonable price. You cant get anything better than that in the center of Warsaw. 30 minutes walk to Old Town. Plenty of restaurants nearby. Small, but bright, very quiet and tidy room with a view! Outstanding comfort. I will be back!

Friendly and helpful staff. Good breakfast and restaurant open for evening meals. Clean and comfortable - ideal for a short stay!

Great location near Warsaw central train station and a reasonable walk to the castle/old town. Able to borrow a hotel umbrella which came in handy when sightseeing. Good breakfast selection.

It’s a central location and it’s very busy and noisy

Hotel was very close to central station, there were many shops nearby. Staff was friendly and helpfull, we could leave our lugagge after check out. Room was nice and clean, comfortable bed. Breakfast was delicious and with lot of space to sit, we never had to wait.

I would welcome a minifridge in the room. The AC was bit too much, sometimes it was really cold in the room/in the breakfast room. Maybe I would like a little bit more of a choice for breakfast - bigger cheese selection, some sweet pastry (for example cinnamon buns),but it was not that big of deal.

Nothing in particular, I have however stayed there many times in the past and they are clearly cutting corners to save money, for example the breakfast choice is not as good as it used to be. It is now more expensive than it was and so I can no longer say that it is the excellent value that it used to be

The room was spacious and clean. The beds are comfortable, and there's an ac. There are blackened drapes so the sun won't wake you in the morning and the breakfast is good. There's a water bar in every floor with cold and sparkling water.

The balcony is quite small and there is an advertising sheet that blocked our view. The outside noise is very noticeable all day long even with ear plugs. There was no coffee machine or mini fridge.
