The helpfulness and cheerfulness of staff; the large "Resort" area is a highlight - with a decent gym, lush landscaped pool and tennis courts. The Portuguese / international menu at the coffee shop was mostly great.

A direct-to-door shuttle bus from HK ferry terminal; a pity there are almost no restaurants within a 10-minute walk nearby.

We had a wonderful stay at the hotel! The rooms were clean and well-maintained, making for a comfortable and enjoyable experience. The swimming pool provided a relaxing atmosphere. I was particularly impressed by the high-quality dining options available at the restaurants.

We had to wait until after 4 PM for our room to be ready, which was a bit disappointing. Additionally, we were surprised to find that we had to pay for drinks by the pool immediately, as we weren't prepared to bring money with us. It would be helpful if guests were informed about this policy in advance.

Amazing service from all members of staff. All of them went out of their way to make my stay perfect. The friendliest staff of any hotel in Macau and I have been to a lot of hotels.

Exceptional Staff! Special mention to Ariel, Freddie and Kevin. They are professional, accommodating and helpful. Breakfast buffet was awesome!

The beds and pillows are extremely comfortable. The pool is great and the location is very convenient. The staff are always very friendly and helpful. Our suite had two balconies with a great view. We were given plenty of water in glass bottles in the room which was really good.

I really enjoyed my stay here again. This is the third time I have stayed here and it did not disappoint. I tried the Thai restaurant this time and the food was fabulous. The pool was wonderful and wasn't too busy so it was relaxing. The beds were super comfortable! I also used the spa facilities, which I would highly recommend.

I don't have anything negative to say actually. Everything was great during our stay.

Taxi service to the Macau outer ferry port is not good: it is close to the hotel. But luggage carriage needs a taxi assist.

It's a very good hotel if you were in Macau with children in your family, especially if you wanted to stay away from the casinos. The two bedroom suite was an excellent choice for our family of four. The facade of the main building looked outdated, but the interior of the hotel and the rooms must have been recently renovated. So it deserved it's five star status.

We throughly enjoyed our weekend away at Artyzen from the moment of arrival to checkout. The room is spacious and stylishly decorated. The bed was super large and comfy. All stuff members were nice and helpful. The free shuttle bus services to other parts of the city (from the hotel right next door) were convenient too. We enjoyed spending some time at the hotel bar with a friendly barman and live music. Outdoor facilities are excellent. And the breakfast was substantial. We will definitely come back soon!

Room is clean, sound proof is ok in the room, but not great in bath room, I can hear kids laughing from other rooms. Breakfast is ok, staff could do better on arranging the tables, since my table has been taken by someone later than me twice.

My credit card was pre-charged before I arrived. while arriving I realized I didn't take the card. So I changed to another card. But the pre-payment on the first card have not been cancelled till now. The staff told me they have done twice to cancel the payment, but the bank says they didn't receive cancellation from the restaurant.

Super welcome in this hotel, nice facilities, big and comfy room. They even have a choice of pillows! We went to the pool and spa, very nice! Good shuttle service to the casino area and the harbour

It did not have a casino hence the crowds. Instead, it has a swimming pool and spa in a beautiful garden. The food in the Chinese restaurant was exquisite and there is a Portuguese decor western-style restaurant with a delicious bakery. We also enjoyed the “happy hour” at the quiet bar. Most of the staff are wonderful and because we are returning guests, Isabel upgraded us to a balcony room.

Spacious room, with quiet aircon. Breakfast offered spectacular range of choices, in very pleasant surroundings. Staff all very pleasant, polite and helpful, and all spoke excellent english.

Slightly disappointed by the dinner set menu, where not all the main dishes were available (perhaps because it was a Monday evening?). But the rest of the meal was very good, especially the seafood platter. Location is somewhat distant from the main old city attractions, but on the other hand very convenient for the Sands Hotel shuttle bus terminal for the Turbojet ferry from/to Hong Kong.

I liked everything! The scale and intimação of the buillding. I know the place for 30 years, since it was the former Mandarim Oriental. I have stayed in this hotel before and only can say it did'nt loose any of is caracter. The resort wich did not exist when the hotel was built just next to the waters of the "Porto Exterior", is a superb adiction built on reclaimed land. If not the best, is sure one of the most beutiful in the territory, with its lusch tropical gardens exquisitly entertained. The lobby and the Café Bela Vista, reminding the historic hotel veranda in the buillding wich is now the residence of the portuguese consul, are also amongst the musts of this outstanding, already classic hotel.

I liked every bit of my stay there and intent to come back soon.

Feels like home

A nice hotel not far from the main part of Macau. Great staff and wonderful facilities for kids. The pool was great and had a small slide.

Breakfast was good although they need to purchase a couple of new coffee machines.

The staff were exceptional, cannot praise them enough. The hotel itself has many great features including the restaurants and cafe, the free shuttle service, and the gym was one of the best I have seen in a hotel. Location was good, pretty easy walk to most points of interest in Macau. The pillow menu is a must!

We did a late check in and there was no doorman waiting to help us from the car with our bags (we had 2 sleeping children with us).

The personnel is very friendly, helpful and nice. While checking in I've got an offer for an upgrade to a "suite" + late checkout right at the desk. Upgrade was offered for a reasonable price and I had no single regret i accepted the upgrade. The suite had two rooms, two balconies, two bathrooms one both with a shower and full size bath where i was able to lay down. The sight from the balcony was top and I was able to smoke outside at the balcony without going 17 stores down and up each time, enjoying the view with a coffee. Talking about coffee, the room had capsule coffee machine which was restocked daily. You also have a list of available pillows in the room you can choose for a sleep. Hotel is close to the ferries pier so we took a walks. Everything else is withing a walking distance so the only time we took a taxi just because wanted to try the taxi in Macau :) Walking distance for us is typically are 10 to 15 km/day on feet. All in all, this stay was worth every cent we had paid. I was with my family: wife and our kid.
