Grand Coloane Resort, Macau

Staff were exceptional! They were attentive, made wonderful drinks, provided the best service (Lounge bar, concierge, waitstaff in restaurants). They were the reason we stayed an extra night.

There is a door between our room and the one next to us… we heard noises even snoring at the night… and we paid a hundred to play tennis but the tennis court and it’s facilities are not in a good shape!

Ease to golf course. Friendly staff.

The room was large and bright, with high ceilings and big windows that let in plenty of light. The balcony was spacious too, perfect for enjoying morning coffee or watching the sunset. Traveling with a toddler can be tough, but this hotel made it easy. The pool was big and had shallow areas for kids to safely splash around, while the deck had plenty of seating for parents. The kids' playroom was a great bonus. It was colorful and filled with toys, allowing my toddler to explore and play safely. This gave me some time to relax, knowing my child was having fun. Overall, the combination of a comfortable room, a fantastic pool, and a fun playroom made our stay enjoyable for the whole family.

Even though the hotel was just 2 km from the Cotai Strip, its location made it challenging and time-consuming to catch taxis. Fortunately, there was a public bus stop right at the entrance, with buses arriving frequently. This made it much easier to access the Strip and explore the area without hassle.

This hotel is in the quiet coastal area of Coloane, a peaceful and relaxing place to be… There is both an indoor and outdoor swimming pools, the outdoor one is great with poolside bar for refreshments…

On the whole this is a great hotel, perhaps some areas would benefit from refurbishment and would enhance the experience…

A bit of faded glory.

Very noisy around the pool with two private functions. Some woman screeching through a microphone got in the way of a potentially very relaxing day at the pool.

It's a bit out of the City so it was great to breakaway from the busy chaos. Very nice facilities! Great staff and very helpful! Wish we could spend a full day at the resort.

I really enjoyed my stay here. The staff were extremely nice and helpful. It had many nice touches, such as artwork. Food selections were nice.

One problem is transportation back to the hotel. It's in a rather out-of-the-way location. I didn't have a problem, but was always a bit concerned about how to get back to the hotel.

Breakfast very good and a great choice and Jackie in the restaurant was fantastic not only with me but everyone very patience with the children the room was far better than I was expecting and the pool indoors and out were very good and clean will be going back

casual, well run very big hotel, ideal for families with children. Big, outdoor pool spaces with fun activities within the structure, heated indoor jacuzzi with moderately heated big pool if the weather is cool. The dining is very good, choice for most nationalities, breakfast is abundant and delicious, and large dining space inside and outside which is not usual in most hotels. It is also wonderful being on the beach offering another extension to its activities for guests being able to walk along the beach to a playground for children and a local village offering food stalls.

As this is historically and only recently historically, a Portuguese colony, one would expect the bountiful fantastic Portuguese wines would be available instead of the ordinary wines by the glass or the limited expensive wines by the bottle. Macau was famous for its fun, quaffable Mateus Rose semi frizzante rose vin de table also available in white, and the Douro produce world-class wines so a few optional white and red Douro would be a suggestion. Not everyone wants to stay at a casino hotel in this once unique small Portuguese colony, so Grand Coloane Resort is a breath of fresh air who just want to enjoy a get-away with their young family.

Lovely relaxing location and welcoming, professional staff. Lorie on the front desk did a sterling job with a seamless check- in. I can highly recommend this hotel.

Great pool for the kids with flying fox and other fun activities. Poolside food and drinks menu was also great. Clubhouse with play room and other things to entertain the kids.

Air con wasn’t cool enough but they brought us a fan so all ok

It’s a lovely relaxed place to stay with friendly welcoming staff. Some standouts are Eva, Victor, Bien, Calvin, JR, Cristina, Tina and Jasmine. The food is great, there is loads to do, even when raining. Miramar and Fernando’s are close by and getting into Macau is easy.

At 5 a.m., I urgently needed to get to the airport but couldn’t get a car through Macau’s taxi hotline or any online apps. When I turned to the front desk for help, the staff managed to get me a car within just a few minutes. I’m truly grateful for their assistance.

It was out of the hustle and bustle of then city so it was very peaceful, relaxing and spacious. The rooms are large with extremely comfortable beds and great bathrooms. They had nice facilities.

Because it is far out of the city, it’s challenging transport wise. Taxis didn’t want to drive to that area and the busses stop early in the night so plan accordingly. Also make sure to buy any drinks or snacks in town if you don’t want to pay for hotel prices for drinks and food.

Perfect hotel to relax with the ocean view and the staffs were friendly and accommodating. And the facilities were convinient especially with kids.

Location was a bit far to the city. Lucky this hotel provide shuttle bus just to go to cotai side.

The hotel is tranquil with an amazing water view. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. They offered us a free upgrade which was really nice and unexpected.

I had a wonderful experience at Grand Coloane! From the moment I arrived, the staff were incredibly welcoming and professional. The check-in process was smooth, and my room was clean, comfortable, and well-appointed with all the amenities I needed. The location was perfect—close to near the beach and 10 Minutes into town. 20 minutes from ferry port. I especially appreciated the yummy halal food! The housekeeping was consistent and thorough throughout my stay, and every staff member I interacted with went above and beyond to ensure I was comfortable. Overall, this hotel exceeded my expectations. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for quality accommodation in Macau!

Everything was absolutely exceptional ! From the friendly staff, to the great facilities and comfiest of beds. We didn’t even need to leave the resort as all our needs were met right there. The food is impeccable and so is the service. We have to mention Jackie, who was just so kind, fun and friendly. She really made our dining experience.

Well equipped with swimming pools and large gym, located next to the sea to take a walk, very good breakfast, large and beautiful garden.
