Everything..superb facilities, service and location

The property is in a very central area next to the opera house & near the post office and other major attractions. Hotel food excellent.

The bed was very soft. Struggled to sleep.

The staff were really friendly and professional. They kindly upgraded us to a city view room. Room was very clean. The bed was very comfortable. The shower facilities were also great! The hotel is in a great location 15 minute walk to most tourist attractions. It was a 5 minute walk to the famous apartment cafe's. Breakfast was also good with a lot of options from Asian to Western food. Breakfast staff were very attentive. The hotel also has a nice rooftop bar with good selection of drinks, happy hour and a live band in the evening. I would stay here again if I come back to Ho Chih Minh and would recommend everyone to stay in this hotel.

The hotel was beautiful, staff were friendly, thoughtful and attentive!! The rooms were spacious and clean and the view was incredible. Rooftop bar has great music and this hotel even has a casino on ground floor!!! Great restaurants to try and the hotel is nearby A lot of Luxury and affordable shopping centres!

The minibar was empty but apart from that it’s perfect!

Great location. Rooms are very good with great layout. Best shower in the world, water pressure is the best. The breakfast is first class and the service offered is always of high quality.

This is truly a 5 star hotel in district one . The location is literally opposite the famous opera house. A lot of places of interest like the cathedral, post office, the river , Ho Chi Minh statue, shops, shopping malls, markets,dining and pleasure walking in lit up city are within walking distance of hotel . We stayed in signature suite which was huge and had a separate living room. Our two balconies from bedroom and living room had views of the opera house and the super views of the square. The signature lounge serves morning breakfast, soft and hot drinks throughout the day and evening canapés and alcoholic drinks from 5.30 pm to 7.30pm. Such a variety of food items available. Please respect the dress code.My wife being vegetarian was well looked after. All the staff have positive attitudes to work, always supportive, attentive and smiling.The swimming pool is well maintained and have adequate seating and a drinks bar offering happy hour. Thank you Caravelle team for making our stay comfortable. Highly recommend this place. Reasonably priced compared to other hotels nearby. .

Beautiful property and great location

Roof top bar with Happy Hour on the 9th floor, a great start to our evening. Serve food there too at reasonable prices. Stunning views overlooking Saigon (HMC). A late afternoon swim in the open air pool & relaxing on the sun beds with a good book or use of the gym & spa/beauty treatments on the 7th floor. Great food on the ground floor restaurant. Breakfast was amazing choices to suit all tastes & nationalities. Our deluxe room decorated in a Colonial style had a superking sized bed so plenty of space. Big room with 2 big wardrobes, a safe, iron & ironing board, spacious bathroom shower & separate bath. Fabulous views of the city & river in the distance.

Very nice and extremely clean hotel with great rooms. The beds were to die for, with the comfiest pillows ever and amazing shower pressure. Pool and gym facilities also a great feature. Overall the staff were very nice. Location is excellent, walking distance to the center and markets. However was it worth the very high price? To each their own, the design of the rooms were beautiful but quit crowded for 2 people and suitcases not to mention that breakfast wasn’t included in the “cheaper option” that in our opinion for Vietnam wasn’t that cheap… but we understand that this is the set price. But for a country of very hard mattresses, those beds saved this review ;)

Great rooftop bar and lovely staff, particularly Tu, who told us a lot about the history of the hotel and surrounding area. The hotel is also in perfect location for a lot of the main attractions. Very comfortable room and bed, beautifully decorated and clean.

Beautiful hotel. We splurged on a suite after an international flight. No matter what type of room you reserve, definitely upgrade to Lounge Access which includes private breakfast and dining area and free tapas buffet every night. Definitely worth it.

A hotel that is a slice of history of Saigon itself, the Caravelle is an epitome of old world luxurious charm. Staff are courteous with impeccable manners, which personally makes me feel welcome. Rooms were immaculate as usual and regularly cleaned. But it's the rooftop bar Saigon Saigon which steals the show. The bar transports patrons to a bygone era and the views along with the live music makes for a delightful evening.

The Signature Lounge was an utter letdown. Staff didn't seem too happy to serve and would rather direct me either to the breakfast buffet or the rooftop bar. Didn't even get served a welcome drink despite an early check-in.

Had the lounge access package very worth while great selection. Location of the hotel was great

The breakfast room was far too small for the number of people staying. Really squashed in and the buffet ran out of food several times and it took a while before it was restocked. It’s a shame because the room itself was lovely. We stayed for 3 nights and tried different times but it was always overcrowded.

As it was our second stay in this excellent hotel, there is no any additional remark. Perfect hotel.

Unfortunately the buffet restaurant was overbooked, but it was not the fault of the hotel. Simply, the foods and the service is so good, therefore half of Saigon wanted to eat here. :-)))

It was one of the best hotel whenever I booked. Location is excellent, in the heart of Saigon. The hotel is extravagant from outside, and even more inside. The staff is super helpful. The buffet restaurant offer is non plus ultra, with seafoods, traditional vietnamese foods etc. Reservation is advisable, because it's more than popular! The breakfast is extra rich. However there is a tapas bar as well if someone prefers the lighter foods, or simply wants to have tea or very good coffee. The hotel concierge is ready to prepare sightseeing tours or even farer excursion for instance to Chu Ci Tunnels or Mekong-delta. Even the airport transport is not cheap, but if somebody arrives to Saigon firts time, I guess this is a good solution.

Maybe the cushions should be less rigid.

I was very sick and the staff were so helpful!! They bought medicine and helped me during check out and everything else. Top grade and friendly!

The spa showered were not cleaned and were dirty . Do not recommend going there.

Fabulous location - doubtful you could find a better hotel location than use in HCMC. All staff fantastic - room very well appointed with excellent slippers, bathrobes (although not really designed for western males waistline!), and toiletries. Opera Room well worth the view just for vibes, but back of hotel would have river views I think. Heritage Saigon Bar worth the happy hour sunset drinks.

Only slight negative was breakfast as expected more Vietnamese options and Most of the hot items where like warm and coffee also - but this is only a small factor and a personal one. We would definitely stay again at the Caravelle, but we would opt for room only and venture for street food breakfasts.

Lounge had perfect food that changed every day. Our lounge hostess Uyen (Kimmie) was so helpful and friendly we looked forward to to seeing her each day.

First given room right over pool. We asked to be changed to Opera view. That happened the next day and was wonderful. Wake up in the morning and you think you are in Paris.😑

Location, location, location! The Caravelle is a fantastic hotel right in the centre of District 1 and with its own rich history. The rooms are super comfortable and the breakfasts superb. The bar on the 9th floor, Saigon Saigon, is a great place to look over the city with a cocktail.

Reception staff, whilst efficient and business-like, are a little impersonal and could have been a little more friendly and welcoming since we were clearly visiting for leisure purposes, and this was quite a contrast from the welcome we have been receiving in all other areas of Vietnam we have visited from Hanoi southwards.

Fantastic Location right in the heart of district 1. Did not choose the breakfast option. Room was great.

Absolutely everything! ..the villa was absolutely amazing ! The resort was fantastic....the most fabulous resort we have ever stayed in. The staff were professional , pleasant and attentive

Meticulous in every detail. Room was superbly furnished and decorated. Bathroom was pleasantly luxurious with spacious walk-in shower. Staffs are courteous and attentive. Signature lounge provides all day refreshments including sparkling, good enough red wine and surprisingly good Sauvignon blanc. Good fitness center with abundant exercise equipment, Sauna, steam rooms and jacuzzi, massage, barbers… you name it. We’ve stuck to high end US based hotels including the Gand Hyatt’s, Hiltons and Sheratons and this hotel beats them hands down in terms of prices and services.
