Great hotel though breakfast was slightly limited. Problem booking via booking.com where I ended up accidentally booking 2 rooms instead of 1

It is perfectly located, a couple hundred meters from the Zurich Railway Station. Clean and quiet. The staff is polite and attentive. Worth every penny.

The location of the hotel was perfect for our needs, right near the train station and all the shops, restaurants, and lovely walks by the river. The staff was lovely, very friendly and helpful and welcoming. Our room was comfortable and worked well for our family.

The hotel does seem to be above a bar/nightclub, so we did hear some loud bass when we were going to bed at night. Not loud enough to keep us up, but noteworthy that it's there.

A uniquely stylish and comfortable hotel located within walking distance of main railway station and shopping district. Friendly and helpful staff always available. Buffet breakfast (may or may not be included in room rate) offered a variety of savory/sweet items. The café/bar is a relaxing spot to start or end your day.

Fantastic location and a great management/housekeeping team. The handwritten notes to wish us a great stay as well as another one to wish us Happy New Year on New Year’s Eve really warm our hearts.

Pillows too soft but you can always request for hard ones.

The proximity to the main train station for a quick overnight stop in Zurich to go to the Lindt factory was why I chose this hotel. It’s nothing fancy but the lady on reception at check in was so friendly and welcoming as was the young man who took over the evening shift. The room was large as was the modern bathroom, and the decor was cosy. Everything is right on the doorstep, shopping, the old town and the river.

The extra bed for our daughter had an incredibly thin mattress which meant we had to listen to her complain the next day….teenager!

The hotel is in an excellent location. It’s just a few minutes’ walk from the train station, making it very convenient to reach. The room was a bit small but manageable. The bed and pillows were comfortable, providing a good night’s sleep. Overall, considering the price-performance ratio, it was a very good hotel.

While the hotel met our expectations in terms of location and comfort, the shower area was a major disappointment. Instead of a modern shower enclosure, it had an old setup with a curtain which was far from hygienic. As someone who values cleanliness, this was a significant downside for me. A more modern and hygienic bathroom arrangement is definitely needed.

Large and spacious room and located very close to Zürich main station. Despite proximity to a busy area, it's quiet and peaceful. Staff at reception are very welcoming.

Bed was overall comfortable except the pillows were way too soft and provided no head or neck support. Rather dim lighting in room even with all lights turned on.

We booked a junior suite for three persons and a double room for two persons. The junior suite was comfortable and came with a kitchenette which was useful. On New Year’s Eve, the staff wrote a personal note for each of the rooms together with some chocolates. It was a nice touch by the staff.

The pillows were too soft. But you can request for hard ones from the housekeeper.

No wee fridge

Location was excellent - easy to get to from Zürich main station. The check in was seamless, and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The small kitchenette is also a helpful addition.

Bathroom was on the small side, with inconsistent water pressure - but everything else was perfect for our short 1-night stay.

Thats receptionist is not 24 hrs so if you have to check out early in the morning you better do it the night before.

A nice hotel in the centre of Zurich, very close to the train station. Decor a bit dated but very thing you need was provided.

The seating in the cafe area was quite uncomfortable.

Although not a native Swiss, the female receptionist we encountered had adopted the arrogant stance some Swiss are renowned for.

We loved the hotel and the room! The hotel is located in the best area. The rooms are fantastic, they are very clean and large. The beds are very comfortable and the decoration is lovely.

The gentleman serving at the Hotel coffee-bar in the evening was extra dismissive and rude The breakfast is very poor

Very close to the train station (3 minutes walk after getting out from the station escalator on Banhofstrasse), and in the middle of shopping area with many restaurants. The hotel is old but very well maintained and clean. Reception personnel were so nice and knowledgeable. Although the hotel is in the city centre, it was so quiet outside after 22h00.They accept to keep luggages if we arrive too early for check in.

The food area for the breakfast was not spacious so often crowded (there were many table and chair for dining room though). The egg boiling machine is nice to make our own boiled eggs, but nobody explained how to use and no other egg styles was available. No self service coffee machine was available and we had to order coffee & tee, which took too long. The service at the restaurant was acceptable but no smile. The food variety is very limited (compared to other hotels we stayed in this travel). It was 15 degree C on the 11th of September, so we did not need an air conditioning but if it were in the middle of summer, it might be hot in the room (there was an electric fan in the room). There was the electric plug on only one side of the bed.

The private patio on the 6th floor. The room was a little small but very comfortable. Our stay was only one night but thee accommodations were all excellent. The walk to and from the train station couldn't have been easier.

Only minor issue was having to navigate a staircase with our luggage as lift didn’t go up to top floor. Staff were very helpful on the way up - it was more of a challenge when checking out the following morning.
