Parker was great at the front desk. Tim was great with picking us up and answering our questions. Evening cart drivers rude and disrespectful.

Landscape

Coffee and the breakfast dishes (the Benedict sat under the heat lamp long time and sauce dried up. Another time the breakfast enchiladas were not warmed up)

The Grill restaurant was FANTASTIC!! The food the service the outdoor setting--everything.

It is perfect

The location is amazing and the layout of the resort was fabulous. Absolutely loved the views and the landscape. My phone hot spot was a stronger connection then the Guest WiFi.

The property is in need of repair. We had plumbing issues in our room from day 1. The room service / guest services is almost non-existent. We needed an iron as ours was in complete disrepair and wasn't working. We never received it. People in our group had dirty rooms etc... As our unit was not only a bit of a distance from the lodge and from the executive suite we had our meeting at it would have been nice to have the shuttles (golf cart valets) show up on time.

The Casitas are beautiful. We were upstairs and had a view of the mountains. Fireplace, bed, bathroom were all wonderful. The setting is quiet nature. We saw quail, bunnies, a great horned owl and javolinas. Amazing! They transport you around with golf carts which is so fun a d the guys are prompt and helpful and tips are included!! Extra coffee in the lobby was nice. Pools were warm and very clean. We went to the Arizona Biltmore next and I wish we had stayed here at the Boulders 2 more days since it was so much more relaxing. Can't wait to go back.

There is a saguaro near the tee off at the lobby that needs protection from golfers. Sad to see they have let it get this bad. $50 for the microwave so we did without (might be a resort thing)

Quiet beautiful views

The resort is very southwestern style with large Boulder all around the property that was great for nature lover.

We had to call the front desk for ICE was bit inconvenient, we did see some ice machines in the property but wasn't we could get our own ice from the machine!

Needs more entertainments , maybe the restaurant more variety of dishes. My low review is because during my stay, I did not find shampoo to bathe myself, I reported it to the hotel staff, but during my 3-day stay, two days I was without shampoo.

The staff was exceptionally awesome, I would definitely recommend other staying here.

The only issue I had was that the TV did not work and it took a long time and a couple of phone calls.

We loved how special we felt as soon as we went through the front gate. Staff were extremely friendly and kind. Loved everything about the resort. I'm definitely would stay here again.

There wasn't much to not like, but the fact that only one restaurant was open for breakfast, was a little discouraging. Also, same for lunch's not everything was open.

Restaurant for breakfast on Thursday morning was horrible, dead flowers on all the tables. The restaurant manager checked on us She was wearing a black suit. She had a crop top on with her stomach showing, very unprofessional. Two rude older women one was the hostess and one was our waitress, slow, unfriendly, not attentive to our needs Food was fair for the resort price. Not happy at all!! Friday two blonde waitress were excellent, food was much better.

We had a golf cart driver that was rude, and drove like a mad man. We both had to hold on every corner was scary. We complained to golf cart attendant and he laughed at us. Golf cart driver was mid age and very muscular quite the attitude. We have decided we will not be returning to this resort. Pool was old and in need of repair. The pool lounges are very uncomfortable not resort style. Wingback chairs in our room very uncomfortable.

The property was beautiful and the surroundings were stunning. It was easy to walk anywhere and no distance longer than 5-10 minutes. The staff was very attentive and our needs were met within minutes of asking. We stayed in a 4 bedroom hacienda and we were very pleased with the size, cleanliness and decor.

Nothing, had a great trip!

Loved the casitas and the ease of leaving your car parked the whole time. Never had to wait on a golf cart to pick us up;)

Four stars. I’ve stay at several Four Seasons and this is as close as you’re going to get. We stayed 5 nights 6 days in a 3 bedroom casita with 7 of us and it was perfect. Staff were friendly and very attentive. The text ability to request items or ask questions was top notch and responsive.

Be prepared to walk or be shuttled around the property. However, we never waited more than a few minutes for a cart or shuttle.

Great scenery and dramatic landscape.

The staff were shocking. Everything was about money. Not coming from a culture where tipping is a “must”, I was shocked to be met with tuts, smirks and disapproving looks because I only tipped 10%. That wasn’t the worst of it though - things really unravelled after I left and after I checked out. The hotel tried to bill me £300 AFTER my account was closed and I was back in the UK. They claimed the extra was for the room & claimed booking.com got the price wrong for the room I was staying in. Booking.com & Amex ended up getting involved to force the return of the £300 because the room booking.com quoted is what was pre-agreed. But it doesn’t stop there. A month after leaving, I received a call from my card company saying someone had used the same card (which I only used at Boulders) to make a £500 purchase at Walmart, Scottsdale - the same area as Boulders. My card provider advised it looks like my card was skimmed a month earlier when I was staying at Boulders and as such cancelled the card & refused the transaction.

Wonderful privacy and decor

Great staff and delicious food. The villas view to the desert is beautiful. The wildlife passing on the patio was an added bonus.

The resort grounds beautiful location!

Room service left a lot to be desired. It was an inconvenience to the person taking our order over the phone. It took forever for our food to arrive and when it did arrive it was not what we ordered.

Couples massage we had at the spa was excellent, we both really enjoyed it and will be returning. The breakfast we had at the Palo Verde restaurant was great, the food was fresh and very tasty, I highly recommend. Also, all staff we came into contact with were very nice and friendly.

The views were amazing. The staff was friendly and helpful. The setting in the boulders is always special.

The room was dated. The view off our patio was looking down on a roof with 2 old rusty AC units, not great! Bed was fine but the rest of the furniture was old. The door had to be busted open with a shoulder in it. Food prices were exorbitant. This is a Curio Brand for Hilton...should be like a JW Marriot brand...not the case with the room quality AT ALL! Very disappointed with the $$ spent even with a summer rate.

Beautiful resort. We absolutely loved it and the staff were wonderful. The food was delicious at every restaurant.

It’s a little far out from things but it is a minor inconvenience. Bees at the pool were bad one day but it was remedied quickly by the pool staff.

I loved the location. It was really nice. Bed was comfortable.

Upon arrival, the front desk girl was not very nice and made us wait for our room. I went outside to tell the shuttle people and they responded with "Another room not ready". The first night we were there, our water was coming out brown from the faucets. Light bulbs were burned out and needed to be replaced. The hot water in our "Casita" would take a minimum of 20 mins to get slightly hot. One of the sinks were not draining and the tub drain never worked, even after being fixed. Luckily someone fixed the lights and the drain at the sink the first night. The patio furniture was broken and the luggage rack broke after placing luggage on it. I did not like the fact that I had to take a shuttle to get to my car/room every day. One night after coming home, I sat in the car for 10 mins waiting for a shuttle to come pick me up (Yes, I had gone by and alerted the shuttle people I needed a shuttle to my room). I ended up walking back to my room because I had picked up dinner and didn't want it to get any colder. Our first morning there, we ordered breakfast with "in room dining". A small Cranberry juice was $7.00 (the whole bill for breakfast with tip was $129.00) Food was $77.00, the rest were all fees. When I asked the manager about the prices and how high they were, she gave me a "It is what it is" type of attitude and said she hardly ate there because of the prices. I understand the extra charge but that's just price gauging. After the breakfast debacle, We went other places to eat. No microwaves in the room, one FIRE log per room. I am just glad we didn't have the rat problem that a lot of reviews had. Unfortunately, we did not read the reviews about it and would have never stayed here. I will never go back to The Boulders Resort. I thought for the "5 star resort" it would have been a better stay.

Beautiful facility and grounds! My husband loved the golfing and I enjoyed the Spa. The rooms were clean, spacious and cozy. The room certainly was as pictured!

The parking was a little far and at night it is very dark. More lightning around grounds would be better.

I didn’t care to be directly below the person or persons staying in a room above me. The ceiling is very thin and you could hear stomping and banging around very clearly. This was several times during the night and I didn’t get much sleep.

Perfect delivered to room!. All meal components delivered. Service perfect.

Gorgeous property, spa, pools, large rooms with sitting areas and fireplace, large bathrooms ( and soap), golf cart shuttle to/from room if needed.

Breakfast was extremely expensive and chef cannot cook eggs.

Golf carts that are used to transport guest are driven extremely fast by the staff and are not courtesy to other guest walking. The spa, you’re made to feel unwelcome if you’re not buying a spa service and only using the amenities. The face towels in the bowl of ice outside the steam room were very stained and dirty looking. The hot tub has a sign that states if the temperature is 104 or higher do not use, but nothing there to tell you the temperature. The railing going into the hot tubs are not centered properly, therefore the steps are uneven, if entering on opposite side of rail. I know because I hurt my shoulder thinking I was stepping down onto the step. If to remain off center there should be signage where to enter for safety. The cleanliness was lacking, we arrived at the spa at 2:30 which we were told upon entering they closed at 5pm by several staff members. At 4:15 I was using the hairdryer and walked away to get something from my bag and within two minutes the locker room attendant was already putting away my hairdryer and I said I was still using that and she said ok and reminded me about the closing time again. The next morning I came back when it first opened at 8:00 a m the first one there and the trash was not emptied in the locker rooms and the toilet I used had poop in it. I’m thinking the locker room was tidy up but not cleaned or disinfected. I felt hurried and was not a relaxing environment. My opinion the staff should not start to do the final clean until the last customer leaves. Also only two jets work in the hot tub and it was full of what felt like small gravel in the bottom of the hot tub.

The pool was great!

The room had a lot of cobwebs in it and maid service was sporadic at best. The shampoo and body wash were empty for several days, and getting someone to refill them was difficult. We ordered room service which was a $4.00 delivery fee plus an automatic 20% bringing our chips and salsa and 12" pizza to $56.00 with no plates or napkins. The spa was closed due to air conditioning issues which was the reason for choosing this property.
