The noise from the highway . The glazing on the cronies does not shut all of it out . It’s not unbearable, but for a newer 5 star hotel I would have expected the glazing to shut out the noise completely.

The location is excellent, the staff was first rate, the rooms lovely and spacious and the food very good.

Valet, room service, bellman service, room amenities, customer service at front desk. Ty, Charles, and Kenneth were amazing. It was my birthday and they extended themselves to ensure my stay was extra special.

Housekeeping threw away personal notes left for me by hotel staff acknowledging my birthday and also personal items that was in the bathroom.

Absolutely stunning, new, interesting pieces of art, with the great attention to detail.

Service is wonderful

The price and the room we paid for wasn’t ready they put us in an “upgrade” room because of view of downtown Houston we had booked a corner suite they aren’t comparable

Everything! It’s exceptionally amazing!

The beds weren’t soft enough. I expected to able to adjust and control the level of hard or softness of the mattress. That honestly was the only thing that didn’t live up to my expectations.

The property was beautiful and I think the staff made it that much more enjoyable. The restaurants, wine bars, and others within and around were much appreciated. We were able to take advantage and enjoy a couple of places.

The room was lovely! The view was amazing and the bathtub was probably my favorite amenity lol. We’re both a sucker for a relaxing tub that we can stretch out in completely and woosah. The room was clean and we appreciated the extra touches such as the umbrella, emergency flashlight, light in the closet, tv in the bathroom, lighting options, automatic curtains, and the dual tv’s (bed and lounge areas).

There’s not anything I didn’t like. If I had any thing that I think could have been or be better this is what I’ll share. It took the hot water a while to warm up (you had to keep the cold water off initially. It could impact from the cold front so it’s understandable.), there weren’t any identifiable fans in the bathroom (especially the toilet area which was odd to me), and what would have been the fridge in our room was filled with highly overpriced items so we couldn’t really have leftovers from any of our outings.

It was actually fun looking at the item list price vs what we’ve paid for those items outside of the hotel.

I thought it was too pricey for the overall stay/experience. Don’t get my wrong it’s a beautiful hotel, in a great location, and many other things, but I do think it could be a couple hundred dollars less per night regardless of the 5-star status.

I’m glad we got to go and experience the stay as a date night/gift to my wife to wrap up the Valentine’s love week I planned.

We’ll see what the future brings on another visit.
