John Papadouris, after spending numerous years overseas, decided to return to his cherished yet forgotten childhood hamlet, Kalopanayiotis, situated in the Troodos mountains of Cyprus. His mission was to spearhead a renovation initiative to conserve the unique mountain culture and lifestyle. His starting point was Casale Panayiotis.
Located delicately in the Marathasa Valley, resting on the Troodos Mountains’ foothills, Casale Panayiotis is a cluster of antique residences that seamlessly blend modern comfort with traditional aesthetics. The resort boasts of a spa center and chic rooms offering views of the courtyard or the mountain ranges.
With 41 guest rooms distributed across seven houses throughout the village, supplemented by cafes and restaurants, the local residents found motivation to invest in their community. They started refurbishing their abodes and launching small-scale businesses, thereby preserving our priceless mountain culture and lifestyle.
The guestrooms, each uniquely adorned with handcrafted Cypriot materials, are equipped with heating and air conditioning facilities. They feature a flat-screen smart TV, a safe box, a minibar, and a coffee maker. Complimentary toiletries, bathrobes, slippers, and a hairdryer are also provided.
