The staff was helpful, personable, warm & friendly esp Andy & Heidi. We both went out of their way to make sure that all our day trips went smoothly and we met up with our guides and had transportation to our locations. Hotel was absolutely beautiful and super clean and they were very generous with water. The daily breakfast was great choice of delicious food and they had a beautiful rooftop restaurant that also served incredible dinner. It was located in the heart of town walkable distance to all the main attractions and the area was safe. I would definitely go back to this hotel when I come back.

Sometimes it could be noisy given that it was in the middle of the city, but once we closed the windows and turned on the AC that sound was diminished. There’s nothing negative to say about the property.

The first room i was given didn’t have a window i could leave open without compromising some privacy. But the staff figured out away to move me to another room. I highly appreciated that

We stayed at this lovely boutique hotel in Centro for a few nights. The location is great, very central and in walking distance to museums and restaurants.
The staff are very friendly and ready to help. Our room was spacious and very comfortable, well appointed and quiet even considering it was facing the busy square where the hotel is located.
Breakfast was delicious and included many local food options, as well as tasty fresh fruit and freshly squeezed juice.
I would certainly recommend this hotel and stay here again in the future.

A fabulous hotel with an even better restaurant. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Nothing is too much trouble, especially as our stay was during Christmas. The room is well equipped and the bed was super comfortable. You might get a bit of noise but we had no problem and slept well. Location is very central to everything. Definitely would stay again.

Gorgeous, historic building and wonderful, friendly staff. The food was also excellent.

Outside the hotel there is a small park where they hold parties with extremely loud music. With our room in the front, the music was disturbing.

The room was lovely and spacious! Really high ceilings! The hotel is in a beautiful building and it’s a nice surprise to walk into. Lovely cocktail bar on the roof!

Only thing that wasn’t great was the aircon in the room was very very noisy! But this didn’t affect how great this hotel was

The location is great because it is in the historic district and walkable to sites and restaurants. The hotel also has a roof top restaurant that seemed to be open whenever we needed it. The food is exceptional in the restaurant and the service is both friendly and professional. The dishes were delicious and beautifully presented. It is a good move on the hotel's part to give guests a welcome drink in the restaurant on the roof so everyone gets to experience the restaurant and sees what they have to offer. We ate there several times, sometimes for a drink and a snack after a day of sight seeing, it was a comfort knowing we could avail ourselves just up stairs.

Breakfast was included and had a really great menu with many choices including coffee choices. It's nice to get a latte or a cappuccino and not have to pay extra for it. Fruit plates were delicious and so were the choices of egg plates. The wait staff was very nice and welcoming.

The room was beautiful, spotlessly clean, a comfortable bed, slippers and robes. I loved having a robe.

The building is beautiful, historical and beautifully decorated.

The desk staff is top notch and gave us wonderful suggestions for where to eat. I especially want to thank Heidi for her kindness and great suggestions. And Daniel too for his dinner suggestion and his knowledge of the hotel's history. Also Ivan during the morning hours was really great too. Everyone at the desk makes sure to get to know who you are so that if you stay for a few nights, we stayed four, they give you your key without your having to ask for the room #.

The staff also arranged drivers for us which are more reliable than taxis, accountable and honest.

Great central location of the hotel. Ideal as a start spot for town visiting. Vers good hotel restaurant and amazing breakfast. The room was spacious, clean and comfoetable. The overall hotel look is exactly as advertised, very nice design and cosy.

We had room towards the square in front of the hotel. There is always something happening in the center, the square is a bit busy in the evening, but with closed windows no problem, the room was silent for sleeping.

We spent 4 nights at this beautiful hotel and loved it! The building itself is historic, well-maintained, gorgeous, and very comfortable. The breakfast was fantastic and the restaurant had fabulous food, service, and cocktails. Our room was spacious, comfortable, and full of character. It has all the things to you need: air conditioning that works well, outlets on both sides of the bed, great water pressure, robes and slippers, and even Kleenex and wash clothes which aren’t always found traveling outside of the US. But the best part is the staff! So helpful and friendly! The location is both good and bad. It’s in the historic city center, so walkable to the historic sites. But it can also be challenging for Uber access to the hotel (especially if roads are closed for events/demonstrations at the central square). And at night, we didn’t always feel the fastest walking around. It’s one of the biggest cities in the world, so understandable. The staff, accommodations and food/cocktails definitely make up for it. If you want to be immersed in the culture, this is it. We would highly recommend!

The location is good and bad. It’s near the historic sites, but it’s also in the center of the city. Tons of people and doesn’t always feel the safest at night. Just be aware! And the staff is always looking out for the guests’ safety.

Breakfast was well balanced, mixture of fruit, bread and a Mexican option.

An issue with the restaurant with a reservation ignored then walk ins allowed in front of us.

This hotel is in a great location very close to the Plaza de la constitution. The beds were very comfortable. The breakfast was substantial and tasty. The staff were friendly and very helpful. They even gave us a take away breakfast on the last morning when we had to leave early for the airport.

Due to it's central location it was possible to walk to the Plaza de la constitution /Zocl0a in 5-10 minutes. The san Juan market and the mercado de la sonora is approx 20 minutes walk from the hotel

Groups of people congregate in the square in front of the hotel smoking and playing loud music. The music usually is over by 11.30pm each night. We preferred to walk on the side street rather than through the square to reach the hotel entrance.
My Only disappointment with this hotel is that €50 disappeared from my back pack whilst staying at this hotel. I had left two €50 notes in my pack pack in my room and one note disappeared during my stay. This brings my rating of this hotel down .

The hotel is beautiful and easy to access. Its location in the corner of a square off the main streets makes for relaxed taxi pickups and drop offs. I used the hotel’s transportation service from the airport, the driver was communicative and ready for pickup ahead of schedule. Check in was seamless - instantly hospitable, quick, with no surprise fees or deposits. The staff were warm and attentive throughout the stay. The breakfast every morning was fantastic. Water pressure in the shower was excellent, I really enjoyed the combination of a rain shower head with a wand. The L’Occitane bath products were a pleasant surprise. The bathrobes in the room stood out as especially cozy. Walking to the Zocalo and Templo Mayor was easy from the hotel’s location.

The temperature of the hot water in my room (219) was pretty cool, but tolerable - this was not an issue in the other room we had reserved (217).

A lovely boutique hotel in the historic centre with easy access to metro. The soundproofing was excellent we found- didn't hear the traffic despite having room with balcony overlooking a busy street below. The terrace restaurant is an absolute gem- the food is exceptional! Very clean and comfortable stay- thank you!

Beautiful building, fantastic staff (front desk, cleaners, security, restaurant team… all wonderful). Close to Centro Historico but worlds away from the hustle & bustle. Breakfast was incredible. Restaurant excellent. Bed incredibly comfortable and lots of great storage in our standard King room.

A bit noisy: the rooms are lovely and renovation is sympathetic, but it does mean the walls are thin and windows single glazed. Bring earplugs!

The staff were wonderful, the property is beautiful and we felt well looked after at all times. Heidy in particular went above and beyond to ensure we arrived safely home from a late night event, which we are very grateful for.

The area surrounding the property felt slightly unsafe, but we made sure to get Ubers everywhere.

Perfectly located for visiting old city of Mexico with a real Mexico feeling in the surroundings. The hotel is really nice, comfortable. The breakfast is served what comes with some limitations. We loved this place mainly due to historical touch.

Some rooms are with no windows (just doors with glass to the patio) what is very common in such places. Not all rooms are perfectly soundproof.

It was absolutely beautiful and very clean. The staff are at your service 24 hours a day. Breakfast was spectacular. The room was 100% soundproof and the shutters completely block out the light for a short nap. Espresso coffee in the room is great. I would 100% return to his hotel boutique.

Despite being located in the bustling centre of Mexico City, the hotel feels calm and tucked away from the noise – thanks in part to the excellent soundproofing of the windows and balcony doors. The staff are outstanding: always welcoming, always ready to help with a smile. And the food at the on-site restaurant? Simply superb.

Clean, welcoming and safe!
Every staff member was there to assist you with anything you would need. The onsite restaurant is 10/10 for food, presentation and ambiance. The rooms have comfortable, large king sized mattresses, hot showers with good pressure and AC/Heating. Really liked that breakfast was included in our booking! Also, very little noise at night; sirens, music, loud people, etc. Which was a plus! Can't wait to stay again in the heart of Mexico City!

Not the properties fault, but the cannabis club meets in the plaza in front of the hotel. There is good security at the front door and never once did I feel unsafe.

Fantastic location - walk to everything in Centro historico and also to metro. Breakfast was exceptional and inclusive as well as available till 1 pm! Room large and clean and included bath gowns and slippers. Staff were helpful and spoke English fluently

Had to change room as the first superior room was directly below the restaurant and early morning and late at night they moved heavy furniture across wooden floors - very very loud - the top floor was quiet though

Beautiful property! Incredibly unique and full of character while remaining updated and clean.

The 2nd floor street facing room we had was gorgeous but ultimately proved too near street level to make use of the window/doors in the way we wanted. We booked the room anticipating having the doors open, letting natural light in but the front street area is very populated, leaving us feeling like we were in a fish bowl when the doors were open. In the end, not a huge deal! We will simply book a room on the 3rd floor next time we stay. Perhaps mention on the room description this may be an occurrence with this specific room.

Beautifully renovated house dating back to the 1500s that has been meticulously renovated to maintain the beauty of the original; it was simply charming. In addition, the food at the Terrace restaurant and at breakfast were both excellent! This is one of the best places to eat in Mexico city with innovative menus.

Great location, 8 minutes walk to Zócalo, peaceful.. lovely breakfast. High ceilings, spacious, nice decor.

1 inch gap in the front doors not meeting.. facing the bed. No window despite being a better room. Front double doors not being sound proof was disturbing, at times.

I loved this hotel...unique original interiors that have been beautifully restored.

Heidi and her team were always available to recommend options and as well the 24hour security was always impeccable.

An added bonus was the highly acclaimed rooftop bar and restaurant...fabulous food at reasonable prices in an attentive but reelaxed atmosphere.

Breakfast was excellent every morning...good quality fresh choices such as eggs fruit, good coffee and great service..it was lovely to enjoy this outside facing the little square.
