Trastevere is an amazing area very beautiful a little out of the bussling city but easy to walk to the colussum and forum . Lovely rooms beautiful old monestery and garden to relax in . Just stunning ,!

The building itself was gorgeous! The grounds, garden, were also beautiful.

We paid a lot for a small room. The ambience of the entryway, the high ceilings and the arches and the beautiful hallways weren’t really reflected in the room that we stayed in. Also, we didn’t opt for the additional cost of breakfast. It would have been more acceptable if breakfast was included. We later stayed at a b & b that was amazing, included breakfast, in the same area & less expensive.

Perfect location for me - very quiet but close to restaurants, etc. The room was lovely and had everything needed, including a delicious assortment of snacks (for purchase). High marks for cleanliness. What appealed me to most was the gorgeous architecture, garden and bar - inventive use of space and the decor was magazine-worthy. I never write reviews, but Donna Camilla Savelli is the best!

Some people may have trouble with the stairs in some areas.

Great location in Trastevere. Beautiful hotel and grounds; terrific staff and service, and excellent dining/food. Terrific bar area and excellent service there. Concierge provided great suggestions for local restaurants and followed through with reservations.

Minor. Several units were in the adjacent complex, where you had to walk around the complex to enter the hotel lobby.

Beautiful old building that used to be a convent. Good location: close enough to walk to everything but in a much quieter part of Trastevere

Stunning and beautiful property… i felt like royalty here. The staff are incredibly friendly and was one of my favourite stays in Italy. 24 hour concierge service who are very helpful with ordering taxis and anything to help. The room is very clean and comfortable. Will definitely stay again, thank you

Absolutely fantastic hotel. Wonderful room, charming staff, quiet except on road side, stunning building, restaurant top quality, breakfast is in the convent refectory, also fantastic. Charming courtyard garden. Full of birds as near botanical garden. Can’t fault it. It’s nice being out of the hustle and bustle of trastevere and yet only 5 minutes walk away. Glorious views over the city from roof terrace

This hotel offers an impressive experience. The property is exceptionally clean and meticulously maintained throughout. The staff are helpful and friendly, and the location is truly excellent. A particular highlight is the rooftop with its amazing views, and the beautiful garden provides a delightful setting for drinks or a meal. My only minor point is that my room was situated in a separate structure, making the walk back to the lobby slightly inconvenient.

The hotel is absolutely beautiful, it's spotless with comfortable beds and the staff are very friendly, welcoming and helpful. I loved the attention to detail, for example, the complimentary nibbles with drinks, tea/coffee. The location was great with surrounding restaurants/bars. Any of the sights were just a taxi ride away, which the receptionist can help you with. I would highly recommend this hotel and would definitely return in the near future.

Absolutely nothing - I have stayed here 7 times and wouldn’t stay anywhere else.

The staff are very friendly and attentive, the main building and Garden are beautiful, and the bedrooms very comfortable. It’s a lovely place to stay, not our first visit and we expect to return.

Our rooms were in the annex and occasionally we had trouble getting in from the street entrance with calls unanswered.

Beautiful property. Rooms are spacious, very clean and the bed was comfortable. The standard rooms are in the isolated area, which felt a bit that we were not part of other guests and the facilities, but we didn’t mind staying there as the room was very nice and comfortable. I am also aware we were free to explore the rest of the property, if we wanted too. It was also quiet, so we had a good sleep. Thank you.

What a magical hidden gem. Surprisingly peaceful for a city stay and although across the river it was easily walkable to the city centre and Vatican areas. The staff were super friendly and helpful and kindly recommended the roof terrace which has INCREDIBLE views across Rome and which otherwise we might have missed. The on-site monastery church is also rather magical.

Unexpectedly only one large complementary bottle of water was provided for a 2 night stay for 2 people. Perhaps the second bottle was unwittingly forgotten as hotels usually provide a complimentary large bottle of water (or a small bottle of water per person) per night and hopefully this is something that can be looked at and easily resolved if not.

All of the hotel staff are welcoming and friendly. The breakfast is delicious with a great selection on the buffet. I love the location in Trastevere, which is great for evenings but also a short walk to the main sites.

Very impressed with the hotel, the staff, the breakfast etc,....To be honest, though, it was the Borromini factor which was important for me....To be able to attend Mass on New Year's Day at the Borromini-designed Chapel was a fantastic end to our Rome trip...We had focused primarily on Bernini and Borromini on this Rome trip, and this was the piece de resistance...❤🙏

The staff are top notch and this former convent designed by Boromini is the quintessential Roman hotel.

There really is nothing to complain about. Some people may dislike the slightly out of centre location - but it is Trastevere! - but I adore it!
