Friendly check-in, good clean room, great location just next to the old port. Nice breakfast outside in tree-covered large garden area.

The rooms are nice and quiet; the dinner was exceptional

Breakfast is not that exciting, and there is very little space at the buffet. The dishes were partly washed by hand, which seemed a little unhygienic.

Lovely hotel in a nice part of Nice. Rooms, which are spotless, are apartment style located in a number of buildings on Rue Montgrand. Contential breakfast served in restaurant or garden in main building. Great location close to Vieux Port. There's a square on the way to the Vieux Port which has lots of good quality restaurants. Felt safe in area around hotel.

It was very close to the harbour and easy to walk everywhere. Property also had a cool back garden where you could have drinks and dinner.

Room was a bit small.

Location is great, on easy walking distance from all the main sightseeing sites, hospitality and shops. The staff at the reception desk is very friendly and helpful.

Great location. Walking distance to Vieux Port. Easy access to metro. Lovely, accommodating staff. The restaurant is amazing! We enjoyed dinner in the jardin the first night. Great service, lovely environment, such GOOD food!

The room was a bit small.

Lovely hotel in several old buildings, only a short walk from the Vieux Port. The area is good, great shops, restaurants and 5min walk to the Metro. Breakfast was excellent and dinner too! Bed was very comfortable.

Beautiful main building with lovely reception area and breakfast room. Outdoor private terrace which was lovely to sit in. Walking distance into the port and close to shopping streets. Good restaurants nearby. Delicious breakfast.

All the rooms are in separate buildings along the street. Our room was comfortable but no outlook. Theres tea and coffee facilities in the room but only paper cups which are awful to drink from as they get too hot. Really need china cups. No safe in the room.

More hot options for breakfast, bathroom wood is breaking off near the entrance and rooms show wear and tear.

Excellent location and FANTASTIC restaurant- the food was fantastic and definitely the high point of our stay.

Provisions such as water in our room would have been great. The water pump on the ground floor wasn’t so helpful to us on the third floor.

My family's stay at Maison Montgrand delightful! The staff at the reception was very helpful. The breakfast offered a wide range of delicious meals, ensuring that every member of our family, from the youngest to the oldest, was satisfied and well-fueled for the day ahead. The rooms were spotless and provided a cozy and comfortable retreat for our family and we appreciated the attention to cleanliness and detail. To top it all off, the internet service was incredibly fast and reliable, which was a big plus for streaming content and keeping everyone entertained for our short stay.

We had to carry our large boxes ourselves because the hotel doesn't have a porter. The family room was a bit small for 5 persons. We were cramped. The breakfast was great, but lacked a touch of veggies.

Great location to visit Marseille, in a quiet street. The staff was always welcoming and kind.

The room was a little bit small for two people, with no drawers or closet shelves, and not even enough space to roll out a yoga mat.

Super location. We had a lovely big family room on the top floor, very comfortable. Staff very friendly and no problem leaving luggage even after check out in order to enjoy the city before our flight later that night.

There is no parking at the hotel, but there is a loading area for the luggage right in front of the hotel and a paying public parking at 100m from the hotel. Staff was very friendly. Breakfast was very good, possible to eat outside on the cosy patio.

There is a free water dispenser on the ground floor, would be perfect if there was one on each level.

Hotel is a complex of rooms in nearby buildings but the set up works really well . The breakfast wax great and the garden very nice to sit in at any time . Staff were charming and helpful . Quiet street with easy access to the port etc

Clean room, good breakfast, convenient location, and a great bed with a comfortable mattress.

However, the large bed took up most of the space in the small room, making it feel a bit cramped. The price could also be a bit lower.

The hotel is distributed across several buildings on the same street. The lobby, breakfast area and garden are very nice. We received a warm welcome when we arrived late at night and enjoyed a good breakfast. The hotel is conveniently located very close to the old port.

Our standard room felt a bit like a box and didn't have much natural light, but it was clean and comfortable.

Air conditioning was set to 23 Degs C which wasn’t cool enough as the temperature in Marseille was mid to high 30’s when we visited.

Perfect location. Cozy and very cute!

It was really perfect for 2 people. 4 may be tough with the loft as it gets warm but that's taste specific. Overall the place was great.

Lift was broken so we were allocated a different room across the road from the main building . The room was ok but the fabric of the headboard needed replacing - it had very large old stain on it . Not good considering the price of the hotel

Great location near to Old Port with an EFFIA parking lot at the end of the street. Staff are super-friendly to both people and dogs, which has served us well on numerous stays over the years. Good breakfast buffet in a charming courtyard.

Rooms on the ground floor can be noisy, and the elevator is tiny, so best travel light.
