Hostel The Yellow, Rome

Very friendly stuff, good location. Breakfast is perfect and keeps you full for the whole day. Safe and clean. Perfect for solo

As their own bar is directly under the windows it can get a bit loud in the night

Check in was too late 3pm and check out too esrly 10 am

They service pasta everyday, it is perfect. You have to be hurry because pasta finished quickly. Rooms are nice, if you are an extremely social you will love it in the bar

everyone and every single thing was sooo so good , the free stuff, the BAR OMG the activities the dancing and all of it sooooo amazing.

Very close to Termini station, it was clean and the staff was kind.

The bathroom was too small, not so cheap considering that it is a hostel.

The room was spacious and very clean - I've met incredible people and will definitely go back.

Facilities were good, not modern but decent. The bar across makes the place lively. Staff were friendly. Vibe was good and was able to make some friends. The location offers dining places/ laundry/ groceries just steps away.

Location is quite sketchy at night, not really ideal to walk alone at night time.

The bar was wonderful and the location is very close to the termini station.

The free pasta every evening was a very good way, especially for solo travellers on a budget, to eat and socialize. The planned events every night were awesome. The karaoke nights were the best. It's a good location and the bar is a great place to connect to fellow travelers. The kitchen was useful and the staff were very kind and helpful, especially for tips about Rome. I would definitely stay there again.

Everything was exceptional. The bar was also good, great way to meet people and make friends. I didn't expected to get free vouchers for pasta and a free drink, which was a pleasant surprise.

The rooms were awesome. Your own lock boxes, curtains, and was quite comfortable. Best hostel I have experienced. My roomies were awesome and it was very welcoming. Great way to meet other travelers.

Location near Termini is very convenient with easy access to transportation and restaurants. This neighborhood is great if you want to explore outside Rome, but not so convenient if traveling to the city for the first time and intending to see the major spots as it is far from the center. Room is spacious and comfortable and the place is very clean. I like that the room has its own bathroom.

The staff at the reception was very nice. They showed the way to the room and also described all the hostel events. Welcome drink.

The room was quite dark and could have had better lighting. The room was located above the bar of the hostel where the karaoke night was held. The wifi signal did not reach the room at all.

Rooms well maintained and comfortable. Staff pretty friendly whenever interacting with them. The room I stayed in had the same people from start to finish with all of us arriving and leaving on the same day.

Activities run by hostel to promote solo travellers meeting new people were a little expensive. It would have been nice if the hostel hosted some events that would let travellers explore the city nightlife rather than just the hostel bar.

Events were amazing also helps a lot to socialize as a solo traveler! I felt safe at the hostel, also room was clean. Near to Termini area, you can walk around 15 min to Collesium. I will choose here again for my next trip!

I had a wonderful experience during my stay! The flexible check-in was a great advantage, allowing me to adjust my arrival time without any rush. The place offers several outdoor activities, like karaoke, which was so much fun, and the Yellow Bar, where I enjoyed amazing discounts. Additionally, the on-site laundry service was super practical and helpful. Another great perk was the barbershop, which helped me freshen up during my trip. The location is perfect, just a few minutes' walk from Roma Termini station, making it easy to access all the main attractions in the city. Comfortable accommodation, super friendly staff, and to top it off, free water throughout my stay. An excellent choice for anyone looking to explore Rome with ease, comfort, and plenty of extras! Highly recommended!

How the beds came with fitted sheet already on, water bottle filler, free pasta and drink and events were great!

The only thing was my card didn’t work when I reserved and I get an email about having to pay again within 24 hours. There was a discrepancy with what booking.com was saying and what Yellowsquare was saying so I was confused and freaking out a little bit that my reservation would be canceled. The chat function on whatsapp was helpful but perhaps more coordination with booking.com would be good.

They have an age restriction to under 45 years I was told I had to book a private room but didn’t have one available so I was in a female dorm. I had the best time meeting up with young people and the most respectful women in a shared dorm I have no problem with people coming in late it happens in all hostels.

Great location, super friendly staff, location is close.to the train station so ideal for further traveling plus the bar and activity's were one of the best I've experienced at a hostel
