The Hotel Gresham Palace sets a superior quality standard even as a luxury hotel in Budapest. The building was originally commissioned in 1904 by London’s Gresham Life Assurance Society. Its stained glass, marble lobby and thickly carpeted corridors ensure guests are immersed in the luxurious atmosphere by just stepping through the front doors. Godly statues and stylish floral motifs in turquoise and gold colors add an elegant touch to the proud stature of the building.
The hotel sits at the Eastern end of the chain bridge and is ideally located for guests to enjoy the best Budapest has to offer in tourist attractions. Scenic views of the Hills of Buda and the Danube can be seen from the building.

A Xmas dream
Splendid hotel, so beautiful, perfect and kind staff. Fantastic food and breakfast. Many thanks for the great service and especially a big hug for the most kind and professional restaurant manager.
Location was also the best.
Budapest is just beautiful and the whole staff of the hotel made us feel at home.

Everything was fantastic. The room was exceptional. Good size and so quiet. Ornate features with beautiful high ceiling and furniture in keeping with the period of the building. Pool and fitness centre were first class too.

The staff and service were friendly and impeccable. More than happy to help in English. The location and amenity were fabulous. We had a room with a msgniglficent view of the Danube and Buda Mountain which was spectacular.

Good location & a very comfortable room
We booked a river view, and it was really worth the extra cost. We had a view of the river, famous bridge, castle & church on the hill. Good location as well for sightseeing in Buda & Pest

the personal is very attentive and breakfast is very good.
At the beginning of our stay we got the room on the 5 floor , under the roof and it was uncomfortable for me, but when I told about this, it was immediately changed

We had a great stay the Hotel Gresham Palace and would highly recommend to others.
The location was ideal, the hotel beautiful and comfortable. I enjoyed the fitness room and the pool. Lots of good restaurants near by. There is a lovely walk right out the front door along the river.
My room overlooked a side street rather than the river.

Perfect expererience
Everything from friendly staff; perfect location to watch the fire works and to go to tye Chain bridge, Buda castle, St. Stephen basilica, and so on; facilities; and comfortability.
It is better if the hotel can provide the gift for kids. We have been to several five-star hotels and of course Four seasons in Geneva, they often give stuffed animals for kids. It is adorable and makes my kid feel like her home at the hotel.
Finally, it is better when you can design the toilets in a seperate room or maybe a glass door. It is better and convenient.
