Majestic Hotel, Barcelona

The room service which is available all the time, the location, the access to the rooftop, the piano in the lobby, the food is good, the staff are friendly, the bathrooms are spacious and equipped with everything, the smell of the hotel and the room is super nice, everything was good. If I come to Barcelona this will bey no 1 option

The lady at the rooftop reception was rude

Exceptional Service right down to the bell man who called us a big taxi on a super busy time from the middle of the street. The hotel staff were friendly and they provided great fast service. And they have mini showers installed in their bathrooms which just takes them above and beyond any other hotel in Barcelona. Expensive though😄

Majestic is more than a luxurious % star hotel . It is a place where every detail is well studied and taken into a consideration. Love it since 2010 till today . Amazing Hotel and staff. Was upgraded to a Junior Suite . It was a fantastic surprise. Muchas Gracias Majestic Hotel.

The room was clean, spacious, bathroom perfect especially after a long day of exploring. Turn down service was nice.

Breakfast was very good. The motel is in the middle of downtown. It was easy to get a taxi. I felt very safe in the area.

Staff was super friendly as always. Great location. Delicious breakfast. Comfy bed. We were given the option of checking out a little later (probably because of those problems at check in).

This is our third stay in this hotel. Unfortunately, this time was not so ideal. The room was not ready on time at 3pm (and we waited at the hotel for more than 6h for it). Upon entering the room, the bed was not prepared so we had to call asking them to prepare it. Then we got a welcome drink with a letter but unfortunately addressed not in our name. Something did not go well here :) Besides that internet in our room has poor reception and one time house keeping opened our room but there was "do not disturb" info on our door.

Breakfast was very good and the location was great.

The location was near to every amenities..shopping coffee restaurants..the stuff was very friendly and kind specially Paula in the concierge she was amazing and recommended a nice places for dinner since i was celebrating my birthday..definitely i will come back to this hotel

Subject: Urgent Complaint Regarding Bellboy and Taxi Incident Dear Management of Majestic Hotel & Spa – Barcelona, Warm greetings, I am writing to express my deep disappointment regarding an unfortunate incident that occurred during our recent stay at your hotel. On the day of our departure, one of your bellboys informed us that he would arrange a large taxi to take us to the airport. We trusted him, but it later became clear that the taxi driver was a close friend of the bellboy. The situation worsened when the bellboy loaded all the bags into the taxi — except for one, which he deliberately hid inside the hotel. Upon arriving at the airport, we discovered that one suitcase was missing. When we contacted the bellboy, he appeared nervous and insisted that he had loaded all the luggage, although this was clearly not the case. The taxi driver also behaved unprofessionally — visibly anxious and intentionally took longer routes in what seemed like an attempt to increase the fare and delay us, reducing our chances of returning to the hotel to retrieve the missing bag. Subsequently, the same taxi driver called the hotel and informed us that the hotel management had searched the room and found nothing. However, when he realized that we were planning to use another taxi, he suddenly told us that the missing bag was at the hotel and that the hotel management would send it to the airport. We were forced to take another taxi back to the hotel ourselves to retrieve the bag, then rush back to the airport to complete our travel procedures. Unfortunately, due to the time lost, we were unable to claim our tax refund (tax-free). This entire experience caused us great stress and inconvenience and has left a very negative impression despite the good facilities at your hotel. We kindly request that you investigate this matter seriously and take appropriate action against those responsible.

Definitely my favourite hotel in Barcelona by far. Everything you would expect and more. A very special thanks to all the staff who are just amazing and so helpful.

Amazing Spa, excellent massages, nice enough hotel room, not spectacular, but very clean, *I failed to see the luxury aspect after I booked with specific descriptions about the room. Everyone from porter/concierge and other personnel was very kind and welcoming. Excellent water pressure for the shower and bath. The only thing was an issue two ladies in the lobby bar who sat us down with no menu despite our repeated requests at around 10.35 pm while the restaurant would close at 11pm. The gentleman waiter took care of this promptly when he found out my daughter and I sat untended to and made sure we could still order. Many thanks to him. I had the idea the women didn’t think we were (I was) staying at the hotel or so, and so they didn’t care as much. Some parts of the hotel are a bit of a maze and personnel at times repeatedly slammed doors before 8am on the corridors where people sleep.

They charge breakfast for small kids when the eat so little. Also the gluten free options were very little. And the connection with the two rooms was a bit odd. With a hall in between. Not like a door between rooms.

Amazing hotel in amazing city

Hotels location is may be the best in Barcelona. At the heart of Passeig de Gracia, you do not need for metro or bus for anything. Taxi station is also right in front of the hotel. Pharmacy at the left in case of any supplement needs. Staff was welcoming, room was big and suitable for families. Hotel was clean and well decorated. We could not experience the roof top bar due to weather conditions since it has only open plan. The treats during checkin was most welcome. Worth every penny

The spa was very good, the bar was nice and the food was good, the roof top bar views were excellent.

When I checked in I asked that one of the rooms was a twin for my teenage children but it was a double after three requests they realised the bed couldn’t be split and they had to change rooms

We stayed in the residences and our apartment was excellent. Highly recommend the two bedroom apartments. It was spacious and provided everything we needed.
