Hostel Angelina Old Town, Dubrovnik

The staff is friendly and helpful, specially Anna and another lady with dark hair in the morning that kindly provided me a lower bed as I asked for Toilet and shower areas are separated and well clen and organised. The location is great with good bars, restaurants and attractions around. (quiet noisy in the evening - bring your ear plugs). Good bar/cafeteria just next door!

The lights in the room are too bright, both the main and the ones next to beds.

Clean, great lockers, excellent location, great kitchen,lots of toilets and showers, bunk beds were solid and did not squeak.

The price when I booked was much less than I was asked to pay at the property.

Really nice hostel. Location is great (probably one of the best in Dubrovnik) and had really nice rooms and showers. Outside terrace was also really nice to chill in.

A bit more indoor communal space would have been nice and might have made things even more social, but no real issues.

The hostel was very conveniently located in the center of the old city. The main location of the hostel does not have the view in the pictures but I preferred it because I didn't have to climb stairs. The facilities were cleaned constantly.

In the bathrooms they don't have enough hooks and shelves to hold your things while showering. Also if you forget to remove something from the stall, when they clean the stall they'll throw it away.

Very nice hostel in old town Dubrovnik. You cannot find better location that this one. Don’t forget to bring the earplugs, all the bars and restaurants and just there so you will obviously hear the noise. But with the earplugs, you are good. The beds are very good, I would say they have new mattresses are new. I would definitely come back

In a secondary building a few minutes away from the main building without kitchen or terrace, but still really good location. Room was nice, people were nice, bathrooms were nice.

This is a lively and social hostel which i highly recommend esp for solo travellers. I've met a lot of great people and became friends with them. The hostel's group chat is fantastic! You can join, invite or organise activities and exchange infos with other guests. You'd never get bored in this hostel!

The annex bldg is quite hard to find. I've lost my way many times.🤣 But aside from the 2 unruly french guys who were in our room for a night, everything's fine and the annex is a little bit quiet than the main one. And it's closer to the cliff diving spots.

There was a lot of mold in the shower's celing. Appart from that, everything was perfect and clean.

Excellent location! Right in the middle of the Old Town! Hostel was always very clean, including the kitchen and bathrooms. Everyone had a locker each. I was able to leave my luggage there after I checked out as my bus wasn’t until later in the day.

Kitchen was very small - only 1-2 people could use it at a time. Outside area could be nicer. No organised activities. Hostel doesn’t take card payments which means a lot of my cash was taken at once.

The owner, he is very warm and polite and welcoming. Then the rest of the staff was nice. Romi a very welcoming person in the hostel. Thank you for making my stay nice and introducing me to new friends. The silence policy after 10 is great. People take it. I had a great safe time and drank and lived and walked.

The lockers in bedroom sound a lot, at night make a lot of noise.

Staff were super helpful. Location was just perfect.

If you are on the upper bunk, it’s quite inconvenient to keep your headphones or phone nearby, as the designated slot doesn’t hold them well, and they may slip out during the night. Additionally, there was an issue with odor.

The hostel is in an excellent location, right in the heart of the old town, which makes it easy to explore nearby attractions and activities. The facilities are well-maintained and clean, though the price is a bit higher due to its central spot. It attracts a younger crowd, mostly under 30, so it might feel a bit challenging to socialize if you're older, but the vibrant atmosphere is still enjoyable. Overall, it was a pleasant stay and ideal for anyone looking to experience the city's lively scene.

The only drawback is the absence of an elevator, which can be a bit challenging if you're traveling with heavy luggage. Be prepared for quite a few stairs, as it may take some effort to get everything to your room. However, if you're up for it, the location and amenities make the extra steps worth it!

The hostel is in such an amazing location!! And the staff? Amazing! always ready to help you out!! cleanliness? Amazing!!! it was super duper cleannn i highly recommend it!!

The pipe system can't handle the amount of people. Taking a shower during peak hours is very unpleasant, with both the temperature and pressure fluctuating all the time.

Good location, in the herat of the old city. Friendly staff is helpful and good. Coffee and tea bags are provided. There is air conditioning in the room. The kitchen and toilet are clean. There are lockers but you need to bring your own lock. Announce events on WhatsApp.

The room faces the square, and even if the windows are closed, you can still hear sounds from outside. The shower space is narrow and hanging towels and clothes will get wet. In the second female shower room from the inside, the shower water starts out large and hot, but after a minute or two, the water becomes smaller and the temperature drops, even if no one else is showering at the same time. If the person sleeping on the upper bed turns over, the lower bed will shake.

despite not having any facilitated social activities the hostel was super social and I made such good friends here, everyone chats in the kitchen! Location was great and close to cheap super markets, loved that towels were provided and the hostel was super clean. The terrace was also really nice

The hostel could put on some social activities or maybe more furniture in the terrace, my light by my bed also did not work.

Perfect location

Location was ideal, staff were friendly and dorms were comfortable.

The shower space was so tight - there was no room in the shower to leave clothes (otherwise clothes would definitely get wet on the shower door hooks) and there was minimal privacy to get changed in the communal bathroom area. Otherwise the showers were hot and had good water pressure.

In the Old Town Very close to restaurants and bars. Shower and Bathroom clean and spacious. Kitchen reasonably large and well fitted out. Friendly staff.

Rooms that face the square are really noisy - restaurant singer crooning until 11pm, then the locals shouting at each other until 1am. Church bells at 6am. Dorms are a bit squishy. Not enough space/hooks to hang towels. Locker wouldn't fit my backpack. No hand towels in the bathrooms.

In the heart of old city,big enough dorm room with excellent wi fi. Clean and safe . Helpful and friendly staff. Airport bus stop is at an entrance of old town (3 min walk to hostel) and main bus station is 30-40 min walk away or easily reachable by buses passing just outside old town.

I had one of the best hostel experiences thanks to the incredible staff! Everyone was so helpful and friendly, always ready to assist with emergencies or last-minute trip bookings. The location couldn’t be better—right in the heart of the Old Town, yet the rooms were peaceful and quiet. The rooftop terrace was amazing, and they organized fun activities for guests every night, making it easy to meet fellow travelers. The hostel had everything you could need as a traveler!

Overall, it was an unforgettable stay in a perfect spot in the center of Dubrovnik!

The location counts here in old city. Nice bars in front of the hostel , the old town is better late night when the tourist crowds are gone. Super cool staff, nice terrace , all was o.k. Hostel is in old building in old town, there is not too much space in the rooms.

Centre of Old Dubrovnik, near shops, many eating/drinking places, interesting buildings, Dubrovnik Symphony Orchestra played at a venue a few hundred metres away.

I think I should have asked for a bottom bunk, as I split my only pair of trousers as I descended to the floor.

The location cannot be beaten, staff is accommodating and the layout of the room is really good. I’d easily choose this over a hotel anyday even if the price wasn’t significant.

Little nitpick but a single pillow, would be nice for 2.

Room was smaller than other hostels I’ve been in. Difficult to sleep some nights as noise rule wasn’t being enforced.

The staffs are all lovely, Romina, Nico, Mia , and Matea all were super helpful. The beds and rooms are clean and comfy. The terrace is super nice.

There are three different buildings, some has intense numbers of stairs, beware! It is cash only. Laundry is extra. Social events did not happen.

Amazing location when you’re in the main building, be aware they have multiple buildings, Isabel was super friendly, very clean.

More seating needed on terrace, laundry was too expensive, no common areas to sit in after 10pm, there was a staff member who was pretty rude, I think a bit overpriced for what you get.

There are no longer bunk beds in some of the dorms, so not every bed has a charging point.

I liked having female only bathrooms and showers. The aircon was great.

I wish there was an indoor common area that was open 24/7. Bigger lockers, can’t fit a suitcase or large backpack.

It was expensive but I suppose they were in line with Dubrovnik prices. Whilst there was always someone to call,because we were in one of their smaller hostels there wasn’t always someone to speak to face to face.

The hostel is amazingly located in the very heart of Dubrovnik. I would never have imagined sleeping in such a historical city. I would really like to thank Dylan for his really a nice and welcoming attention! Do not hesitate to book this hostel for your stay in Dubrovnik!!
