no window, air not fresh; no spoons for coffee cups, cheapy; desk and floor lamps can not be separately switched on/off, ridiculous;

location: it is nice to just cross doors and being at the Philharmonie. As our room did not have any interesting view, it was best to sit at the Blick.

The view of the room. Awful. Pointing at the Center, only external walls were to see. The sensation was claustrophobic. Apart from that, the room was very nice and comfortable.

Comfortable and modern hotel in the city center. Tastefully decorated room. Beautiful view to the harbor. Philharmonic hall part of the building. Very good breakfast.

Long waiting time for check-in. Despite reminders, bed linen and towels were not changed.

Great location above the Elbe concert hall. Nice night-time views. Staff excellent. Room very good. Very good bar. Lots to do in Hamburg- Zoo, harbour tour, miniature world. See a concert in the Elbphilharmonie Expensive restaurants beside the hotels but good value ones a little west of it. Limebikes to get around the city

The personnel from the receptionists, waiters, staff are all friendly and accomodating. The room was big and comfortable with a beautiful view of the Elbe. I asked them to decorate the room because it was my boyfriend's birthday and they did so. My boyfriend was so happy with the surprise. We even had a complimentary bday cake. Thank you so much.

Fantastic location!

There is no reception on the first floor. It is necessary to carry on your luggage to the eighth floor yourself. When you call to the reception nobody answers. Cleanliness is not good enough. The price has not justified.

The airco was not powerful enough to cool down the room - since the room is designed like a glass house with floor to ceiling windows all around, when the sun is shining the room gets quite hot. The airco is not strong enough to cater for this.

Arrived early from UK and able to check in. Spacious room on 18th floor with excellent views of the city and port. Responsive air conditioning. Nice bathroom. Great location for trains and buses, and for walking into the city. Unlimited breakfast a little pricey at €37 per person, but great choice of food and drinks. Attentive staff.

Officious man started to clear breakfast table at 10.55am without asking if we had finished.

Insufficient information in English to report to housekeeping that coffee machine didn’t work, or how to order food from room service. Limited choice of tea, only powdered milk available. Towelling was hard even 3* budget hotels provide soft towels! Small but necessary provisions let down the hotel.

Dinning staff was wonderful as well as the bar. We enjoyed the daily breakfast. The room was beautiful.

We had issues getting a package delivered. There was no one there to receive our package per the fedex delivery driver. He left withoug delivering the package and we had to go pick it up 30 minutes away.

It’s a decent hotel , It’s way better than The Fontenay hotel, the stuff is better in all means . And the service. I will say the best hotel in Hamburg is Fairmont then Westin since I tried all of them.

The staff were very friendly and helpful . The room was very comfortable and clean, and the view was very good. The man at checkout, from Venice, was especially friendly and helpful. The restaurant and the breakfast were elegant and food was plentiful.

As always, everything was amazing.

The staff gave us a room with a poor view, although we paid for a better one, and then tried to make us pay double the money for a better view instead of giving us what we paid for. Eventually, we got the room we paid for, after a long discussion that ruined the mood for us.

Breakfast for vegan people could be much better. There is a corner for vegans but there are just few sweets and some vegetables, far from the options for non vegan people

The room and the view were amazing. The Blick Bar and the spa were great. Wonderful staff.

I could not figure out how to easily order room service... suggest you just print the number clearly or have menu or brochure. In the end I didn't order.

Room view was awesome. Room was comfortable and well maintained. Bed was comfortable and bathroom was clean and well maintained. Breakfast was good and the restaurants in the hotel were good.

This is ok for the money, but a little pricey. Overall this hotel is good, and the staff seemed well focused on the guest experience. I would rebook this hotel in the future.

Location was excellent! Couldn’t fault the staff, the gym and pool were an added bonus and were excellent! The room was huge, with a personal fridge and coffee machine and a free 1L bottle of water daily!

Grand view from our hotel room across the waterfront, enjoyed the ceiling-to-floor windows; very quiet and relaxing. Excellent breakfast and excellent location!

Left the note to have the sheets changed, which did not happen. I had to make a call to the reception in the evening when we returned to the room. That was disappointing. Some of the staff lack language skills in English and German alike.

The elegance and proximity to the concert hall, the Plaza and the staff service were all excellent.

No view and power point only on one side of the bed.
