The staff is exceptionally kind and warm from their heart. Especially the doormen who are always kind and caring give a feeling of being at home. Such special and warm people also at the pool area where one was looked after. The Spa is fantastic, I had a 2 h treatment with Mini from Bali and it was a 10/10 absolutely great. The location next to Suria KLCC is very convenient as there are good restaurants and a very nice grocery store. The historic building has a special Charme and warm feeling.

The food quality is not up to MO standards. Compared to the MO in HK, Bangkok and Dubai the food was in all restaurants I tried and at the breakfast buffet very disappointing in quality. And other guests I spoke to confirmed the same to me. I even overheard a conversation of a gentleman in the club lounge who was shocked how bad the bread was. The bread at breakfast is below anything I have ever tried, its old, stale and pre packaged breads, nothing really fresh, even the quality of fruit not that great. The worst cesar salad I ever had which was disappointing as the MO in Bangkok has a great quality for food. No fresh green juices, also pre made. If I wanted all pre made I could buy it from the store but even the supermarket next door has better quality items. The pool is not very clean, I had black hair tangled around my hands several times which I find kind of gross, shower and washroom next to the pool is dirty and smelly

Lovely rooms, very nicely designed and spacious. Location is excellent. We also ate at the chinese restaurant on site, which was great. They also have some good facilities which we unfortunately did not have the time to use.

There was a long queue of at least 15/20 minutes to be seated for breakfast. So leave extra time and expect to wait. It felt like the hotel doesn’t have enough facilities for the number of rooms, so they got overwhelmed at breakfast. Breakfast itself was OK

STAFF From the moment we arrived, every staff member — from the entrance greeters and front desk to housekeeping — was genuinely warm, attentive, and accommodating. Their friendliness felt sincere, not forced, which made us feel comfortable and truly welcomed throughout our stay. It’s rare to experience hospitality that feels this heartfelt, and it elevated our visit to a true 5-star experience. ROOM Our room was spacious, beautifully decorated, and exceptionally comfortable. The bed was heavenly, and the breathtaking view of the Petronas Twin Towers was simply unforgettable. The room came equipped with a well-stocked mini-fridge (juices and alcoholic beverages available for purchase), three complimentary large glass bottles of water, tea bags, Nespresso coffee maker with coffee capsules, sweeteners, kettle, iron and ironing board, in-room safe, plush robes, slippers, and a flat-screen TV offering plenty of channels. Everything we needed was right there — convenient and thoughtfully arranged. The room was quiet and peaceful most of the time, aside from the occasional noise from passing guests with energetic children, which is understandable. Overall, the room was spotless, well-maintained, and a pleasure to stay in. HOTEL AMENITIES While we didn’t have the chance to explore all the hotel’s amenities, we did spend time at the swimming pool — and it was wonderful. The pool area offers stunning views, and the attendants were exceptionally courteous, offering towels, cold water, and refreshing face towels to guests. It made for a relaxing and memorable afternoon. LOCATION The hotel’s location couldn’t be better. It’s just a short 2–3-minute walk to the iconic Petronas Towers, Suria KLCC Mall, and KLCC Park. Everything you’d want to see in central Kuala Lumpur is right at your doorstep. OVERALL We thoroughly enjoyed our two-night stay and left with wonderful memories. While everyone’s experience may differ, ours was outstanding.

It would be nice and convenient if they had ATM machines very close to the hotel if not on the hotel premises.

MO has always been my go to property if my destination has one. Great food, friendly service, well kept and maintained rooms, always a joy to stay at MO.

Very convenient, next to suria KLCC so there was no problem finding something to eat and supermarket

One time i booked the Chinese restaurant for lunch and my reservation was confirmed through the reception. When we got to the restaurant, the staff told us there was no booking under my name or room number. So I still don’t know who was responsible for this miss booking.

Fantastic location next to KLCC. The room was super comfortable and quiet. The Petronas Towers view was incredible.

Only gripe: the room wasn’t ready at check in, though the wait was short.

Location

Located at the foot of the Petronas Twin Towers and the large KLCC park and Mall, the MO is well located. The hotel is impressive with truly beautiful common areas, lounges, restaurants and foyer. The infinity pool is great with plenty of seating and a nice pool restaurant. The breakfast buffet was great with a fabulous range of international cuisine.

The bedrooms are old fashioned, tired and a bit shabby, in dire need of a renovation. I would not describe them as 5* at all. We had a cockroach in one of our bathrooms when we arrived, which wasn’t a great first impression! The staff were sweet but by the pool they were very slow to top up water, bring over drinks etc…. The breakfast dining space isn’t sufficient for a hotel of that size, so felt crowded and cramped.

It certainly needs a reform... even if it is historically dated.

Breakfast was sensational. Indian, Chinese and European tastes catered for with excellent service. There was a queue to be seated if you hit the rush-hour but it didn't detract.

Our only negative was that we were charged in error for extra costs that wasn't corrected until 6-7 days after we had checked out.
