Refinery Hotel Manhattan, New York

The property was close to Bryant Park, Times Square, shopping on 5th Avenue, and tons of great restaurants. We also like the Parker & Quinn restaurant and the Rooftop bar in the hotel. Room service was also delivered quickly consistently throughout our stay.

I’m all we loved the property, the only thing we would do differently is request a room on a higher floor.

Room was great but lacked storage. Staff was very pleasant and accommodating. We had some issues with our room and it was immediately rectified. Restaurants and lounges were very good and the location was perfect for us.

The room far exceeded our expectations. It was a good size and very clean

Love the location. Also love Winnie’s Jazz Bar and the rooftop bar. The staff is always welcoming & very helpful.

The room was beautiful and I really liked the fact that there was water available.

The overall color scheme is dark grey makes everything seem small and dark

The bathroom doors are smoky sliders which you can see thru.. the one reason I would not stay there.

No real "view" from a standard room. Even the view from the elevator bank was questionable.

The hotel was close to certain stores that we wanted to go to. The room was clean and spacious enough for 4 people. The beds were really comfy and pleasant to sleep on. The workers in the reception were friendly and quick to accommodate my requests.

The housekeeper knocked on the door at 8 A.M. which is unreasonably early. That was the first time a housekeeper knocked on our door so early in the morning to clean the room. She woke us up and we were unable to sleep afterward.

Stayed there numerous times but the staff has no record of that… bad CRM… NO 24h room service? Seriously? Overpriced for what you get

Good location. Clean rooms, they cleaned our room 2 times per day

Some of the sheets were having small holes which didnt matter to us but kids didnt like it.

Excellent location, very friendly, welcoming and efficient reception staff. Spacious room and bathroom, comfortable bed.

More storage space in room. Restaurant staff unwelcoming, slow and fairly hopeless apart from one female. They let the hotel down. We were forced to find somewhere better close by.

The location is excellent! Breakfast in the hotel is very expensive but there are lots of options in and around.

The room floors need a better clean up. Very dusty floors. Especially the corners.

dark decor, hwe were with 4 but only one umbrella, had to call for extra towels and next days still only3 towels. message in fridge that if you put something in from yourself you’ll have to pay 🙃😒. housekeeping knocks at 9 am. walls shower not very clean.

The beds are comfy, the rooms are aesthetic, the free wine is a nice touch.

No coffee maker in the room (OMG!). No arrangements with a cab company to help guests with disabilities (doorman had to hail a cab instead of making a call like other hotels do). Side note: the menu for the rooftop restaurant is more for lunch than dinner. (Disappointing change.)

The location was fantastic. Lovely staff throughout the hotel. The room was spacious, clean, well laid out and the beds were extremely comfortable. Free bottles of water from reception were really handy. A lovely hotel overall.

The shower either had so much pressure it flew out of its holder or was just powerful enough for a hair wash. but we probably used it whilst water was in demand from other rooms too. tricky to get comfortable temperature too but not a big issue overall. we also hoped to eat on the rooftop the first night but had our reservation cancelled. plenty of other options close by though so didn’t matter.
