Staff were so nice and very clean place ,location is very good and they gave us a very nice big room free of charge although was not booked with same size. Amazing hotel and nice fresh breakfast Reception desk staff are great people.thanks to all of them.

The bed was quite hard but we asked for mattress toppers which helped, breakfast could have had more savoury options, there was a lot of cake but it was a bit dry

A very convenient location for arriving from the airport and visiting the city’s sights.

The room window faced a closed courtyard, specifically an emergency staircase, which constantly emitted an unpleasant odor, including through the ventilation. The pillows in the room were uncomfortable.

The staff were very friendly and helpful; the breakfast is superb - if you've overdone it the night before, you can help yourself to a Bloody Mary; if you want to prolong the party, why not put prosecco on your cornflakes?

Room keepers did a great job in keeping our hotel room tidy and replenishing amenities. The room is spacious and its convenient layout made the stay comfortable. Breakfast service staff and bartender were attentive and courteous.

The room was very large. It overlooked a beautiful, small garden. The bathroom, closet, and entire room was so much larger than expected. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone coming to Florence.

There’s nothing that could have been better. The location was excellent. I was impressed by how close it was to everything but how quiet it was. We would certainly stay here again.

The hotel was in a great location. We did pick the most economical room, but it was a bit small. I love that the breakfast was on the 6th floor and it offered everything! Staff was amazing!

Extremely comfortable luxurious hotel located near Museo di San Marco and other historic sites. Friendly staff, and free popsicles on arrival which were very welcome in the heat! Very good breakfast spread. Room well appointed and comfortable.

Beautiful and glamorous rooms to eat and relax with tall windows and drapes. Our room was in the courtyard with a view of the lovely plants through the large high window. Places to relax awhile after breakfast and a short walk into the central squares. Breakfast was fabulous, so much choice.

Breakfast was very well served, and you can find many options available. I’ve stayed in 3 different hotels in Florence, and the best breakfast I had was in Orto dei Medici. Also, I liked the location - not so far from the historical center, but far enough from the noise. The staff is helpful. In general I had a nice experience staying in this hotel.

The rooms are a bit small, especially for 2 people. I’d recommend you to choose bigger rooms if you travel with someone. Unfortunately, I didn’t find a bathrobe in the room, you have to go to the reception to ask for one. And there is no blanket in the room, only a very thin cover (you can ask for a blanket but it’s better to leave one in the room I think)

It is an old building that was owned by Medici Family so expect high ceiling and a touch of royalty when it comes to common spaces. The rooms are modern, with nice air conditioning systems and the sower is pure pleasure. The stuff is very gentle and helpful. They give you all sort of explanations about the city. Breakfast is good, with a choice of cheese, meat, scrambled eggs and fresh fruit. Plenty of choices on the sweet side and a touch of luxury (you can prepare mimosa) Close to the city center

This hotel was lovely to stay at! All the staff were friendly and welcome, giving great advice and always ready to help! The rooms are chic and nicely decorated. Breakfast is in a great area, and the hotel has quiet surroundings but great, accessible location.

Perfect location close to everything! Quiet at night. Our room was spacious and very comfortable, we had a huge patio/balcony off our room. Very good breakfast. The staff was AMAZING!! The front desk ladies were exceptional, especially Anaras (I think that was her name..?) and Francesco, and Alessandro from the bar area. They were extremely helpful and accommodating. Grazie ragazzi!!

Located very close to lots of piazzas and great restaurants, including the San Lorenzo market/piazza. Breakfast was phenomenal! One of the best we had throughout our Italian travels. Lovely hotel and grounds overall, except disappointingly a broken fountain in the center of the garden.

The shower has a very narrow glass partition, leaving most the shower open, and therefore you are freezing the whole time you are taking a hot shower. Also, water gets everywhere in the bathroom floor. Very inefficient design. The beds were rock hard. Very uncomfortable! Lastly, most of the hotel staff was quite nice, but one lady in particular was extremely difficult about our request to have ice brought to our room and tried denying us a free bottle of water on our third night, when we had received it our previous two.

Breakfast was delicious and the staff were so friendly and accommodating. The hotel was in a fabulous location and walking distance to all the wonderful attractions florence has to offer. the room was nice and a good amount of space for unpacking. I would recommend this to friends and family.

The room was a bit basic/bare and could have had more plug sockets as we were limited on what we could use at once.
