Staff was super friendly and helpful. The kitchen was great with free tea and coffee. Share bathroom is clean and tidy. The property is full of character. As I having two full size suit case having a room at the ground floor was super helpful. The laundry cost was reasonable.

I can’t not ask for more, my room is close to the share bathroom which is really convenient for me and my mum. Universal Stadium is one stop Metro away which is great. The location was an easy drive around Hollywood area and Santa Monica and airport , the metro is easy access to down town LA. Parking cost is $15 per day which is reasonable in LA

The staff is very nice, the property is well kept, and orderly. This is one of the best hostels I’ve been in. Super safe for solo travelers. It literally feels like home. I hope they continue to do well.

What a beautiful and antique 1950s home stay in the prime location just minutes walk from walk of fame and oscar theatres. Front staff was so friendly and ready to answer all your queries. We booked basement room which I was initially worried about odour comments but good to see nothing of that sort. Kitchen was so useful to keep it in our budget ;) Tip : parking is at the side and back of the home stay within the same compound

Central and quiet location. Beautiful old house. Clean and quiet rooms. Spacious patio to sit out in. Helpful staff. Hot water available for teas / hot chocolate and free coffee available. Great value for money. Would highly recommend and return.

Ive been to hostels all thru the US and never felt more at home! 10/10 on cleanliness, location, hospitality, and quality of people. I’ve stayed here a total of around 30 days this year and can honestly say not one complaint. Whether you are looking for a dorm style bed or a hotel/private room in LA I would 100% stop browsing and secure your reservation with the Orange Drive!! They even have free parking!

I really loved the sense of community they manage to create. The host(s) are all friendly and super-available for any kind of need. The outside patio is nice and allows you to enjoy meals or a good reading outside. By walk, you reach Hollywood Blv. in just 2 min, and also Target and CVS. My roommates were friendly and discrete, and you can obtain a lot of information and fun by interacting with other people. Dive in!

A quiet oasis in Hollywood!

All was fine. We got spacious private room with private bathroom. Staff is really helpful and friendly. Location is also very good.

Very convenient location, very clean, the room was small but it was very comfortable for one person. The staff is very friendly. I highly recommend Pedro, he was really nice.

Some days it was really noisy at nights.

I loved the location, it was close to walk to the Hollywood walk of fame, but hidden away from all street noise. The rooms were clean, big enough for 2 with separate beds, and the staff were very nice. We shared the bathroom, but it wasn’t bad, just a little small. They also have a community kitchen where you can eat and cook meals, with Target being a 5 min walk away, it’s very convenient. The mansion is old but very charming and vintage-looking.

The bathroom was a little small, but it was manageable, no real complaints. I’d recommend bringing ear plugs/noise-cancellation plugs for sleeping, as it is an old house and noise ca be heard from the rooms.

Its an okd mansion ,Location is just 3 min.wwlk to tourist attraction and metro, spotless, very helpful staff especially to Pedro, kitchen is well equipped with free coffee , choco and tea

Parking lot is good but the entry to the lot attached with the hostel is narrow. So very big SUVs might not fit.

The vintage feel was almost magical. Every detail within the hostel was carefully arranged and beautiful. Every part was so well maintained and clean. The staff were incredibly kind and went above and beyond!

This hostel is very close to the Hollywood Walk of Fame. I stayed in a private room with one small single bed and one small double bed. The facilities are well equipped, including drinking water, kitchenware, and hot chocolate. The staff were very friendly and patient. Luggage storage is also available. The price is very affordable, making it a great stay overall.

Parking is available for $10 per night. Laundry facilities (including washing, detergent, and drying) are available for $6 per load. These need to be requested in advance.

Kyle the front desk person was great. Very helpful. The community kitchen was clean and organized. The bed was comfy and the room was clean. Loved how old the property was.The decor was simple and i liked how they used antiques and period furniture.

Staff!!! Thomas Again, I really appreciate for your help waiting for me until 11:30pm. I got involved in an car accident resulting in checking in so late. You’ve waited outside for us to inform the parking and checking in process. Even I misunderstood you for a minute as some random person trying to do something weird since you stood up right side of my car. Again, you’re the best and this is one of the best story of LA trip for 2 nights to me. God bless you and I’ll definitely stay at your hostel whenever I go back to LA next time.

Fantastic hotel in fantastic location. 2 mins to Walk of Fame and Dolby Theater. Great super-friendly staff (Kyle - greetings from Poland!). Possibility to leave luggage for a longer period. Nice parking spot and great kitchen.

This was a charming place, walking distance to all the action and hop on hop off bus stop. The staff were friendly and helpful. We stayed in a private ensuite room that was clean and comfortable.

Very charming little hostel just off of Hollywood Blvd near Target, CVS, Marshalls shopping and of course more. The whole place is immaculately clean but the comforters are not cleaned after each guest leaves. I know this is typical but it’s still off putting. You get clean sheets and a bath towel upon arrival — the towel is a very nice touch since most hostels don’t give towels. The convenience of this location for public transport can’t be beat. There are plenty of bathrooms nearby to use if your dorm’s bathroom is occupied, all very well maintained. There is also a kitchen on the lower level that does include burners for stove top cooking, as well as a large microwave that works very well and quickly. I noticed multiple refrigerators but I didn’t use them. One side note, the property does have a very over powering cleaner smell to it, almost as if the entire history of wood floor cleaner is saturated into the wood flooring making it heady and taking quite a time to acclimate to.

There are no bed lamps and charging outlets are limited to what is on the wall — which the outlets are not a problem if you are in a lower bunk, but one must share that one outlet and I simply don’t know how the upper bunk can comfortably charge from their height. The lack of bed lamps is definitely an inconvenience. My only other complaint is the pillows — again, typical to most hostels, the pillow is very flat and nearly nonexistent. Because of its proximity to Hollywood Blvd, the noise levels can be a lot if you are a light sleeper. That being said, the sound was really not disturbing during this time of year (November), much to my surprise. The only other inconvenience I noticed is the WiFi is very slow.

I would totally recommend the single room with its own bathroom for a girl travelling alone. The staff was lovely. On my last day, I was able to stay in the common area, waiting for my family to come get me, and i let my luggage in the lockers to do a last stroll. The location is ideal, right next to Hollywood blvd. Hope to visit again soon!
