Location is amazing. Staff is so lovely and helpful; we asked extra coffee capsules and they brought like 8 of them which saved my life as a coffee addict. Our room was cozy, comfortable and clean.

Central, quiet, safe but quite expensive unless you get a deal!!

The rooms at Zoku are like tiny apartments - so thoughtfully laid out to maximize a small amount of space to make it feel like you could really stay for a longer period of time without too much difficulty. The miniature living room/dining room/kitchen combined with the loft bed make it a superior experience for someone who likes more of a "living in the city" than visiting the city feel. Many good touches -- automatic light turn on when you enter the room, easy off/on for all the lights direct from the bed, as well as charging outlets for phones in the wall, including shared amenities like a "borrowable" toaster or kitchenware -- make this a great option for a more hands-on traveler.

There was an odor that came from the bathroom for a few of our days in the location, but seemed to dissipate over time. European plumbing!

The best place to stay in Amsterdam

The coworking space on the top floor was nice and had a nice view. With its quite central location, you could take an Uber or just walk to nearby locations. The conept of the lofts is good - compact and it has everything you need.

It could have been cleaner: Here and there I found hair from the previous inhabitants and the flat surfaces like doors and panels were not cleaned for a long time and had stains. It was not dirty, but if you looked for the details, it could have been cleaner. The sofa in my loft also needed a deep clean.

The room was awesome. Loved all the extra fun little details. The stairs that pull out of the wall were a favorite. The staff that helped us check in were great but the staff in the restaurant were not friendly at all. That would be my only complaint about this place.

Great location, fun environment, clean facilities, and a friendly staff. The rooms were spacious and playful. The rooftop bar/restaurant area was lively and was a great place to hang out and work. I would stay at Zoku again and would recommend it to anyone visiting.

If I had to nitpick, the water pressure for the shower wasn't great. I rented a bike and it took 2 bikes to find one that wasn't in need of repairs. It was very handy to have bikes for rental on site though. I lost out on 4 euros when I was trying to do laundry, something was wrong with the dryer and I couldn't figure out what was wrong. None of those things were that consequential in the end, I still had a great stay.

The place is brilliantly designed, spotless, and genuinely comfortable. The staff know what they’re doing and actually make your life easier. Great location, great vibe, and everything just works the way it should.

Honestly, nothing worth complaining about. They delivered across the board.

Staff were super friendly and professional, tried to accommodate every request we had. Loved the location in the offices district too, quiet and very accessible. Most of all they have a “changing room” that could be used to freshen up after a long flight while waiting for your room. Room was spacious and cool, even comes with a gymnastic ring which is a nice addition!

We could hear people walking upstairs and out in the hallway.

Room was so expensive and this was a loft but the mattress was in a higher floor over the floor , not suitable for older person. We didn't buy the breakfast buffet but instead they offered just coffee and a croissant and anything else for 7 euros.

Give us a choice to buy breakfast instead only buffet or just 1 Croissant.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Zoku is always an amazing experience! We’ve stayed at Zoku Copenhagen and Zoku Vienna as well, and everything is always perfect. Modern atmosphere, friendly staff, super functional rooms, and a cozy feeling that truly makes you feel at home. Zoku Amsterdam remains one of our favorite places to stay.

Room was very smart and aesthetically designed. Comfortable for a week's stay for a solo person, and probably for a couple or two friends who don't mind sharing a bed. I loved the rooftop lounge as well, great for coworking. Cooked some of my meals in the kitchenette.

Spacious and cleverly designed rooms have everything you need. These are small apartments where you can cook, share a meal at the big table, sit in the living room and also work at the desk. The place was clean and neat and bigger than we expected. Everything worked just fine, no issues at all! It's great that you can leave your luggage in the storage area for free without any hassle. The idea and the execution are great. The bed was nice and comfortable, no issues with sleeping in that space.

1. The check-in - a bit annoying as you need to put all your details on a touch screen when you already gave your details while booking. For such a price per night, there could be a normal reception, as this gives the feel of a cheap hostel. 2. The early check-in fee of 25 euros is absurd. We have been informed that we can actually check in earlier, as they have a room ready (4 hours before), but this will cost 25 euros. 3. The price of breakfast at 19 euros is more than at a very good cafe nearby. 4. No explanation from the staff about anything - breakfast, bikes, nothing. Very little enthusiasm. 4. It costs more than it's worth.

Loved the room and the bed was super cosy. Restaurant was very aesthetically pleasing.

Room was nice and compact but had all the needed facilities. Bed was neat and very comfortable and the couch was also. Bathroom was great and we were able to come and go as we pleased but with the reception there if needed.

All was good for the price.

The room is very well designed, with everything you'd need for a short or long stay, and the location is very convenient for the city center. The social area is bright and spacious and very comfortable.

The room felt modern and very clean, and was comfortable, with some really cool features. We liked that the company is a B Corp, and really enjoyed spending time in the bar in the evenings. The beer and bitterballen were delicious!

The hotel's location was perfect. It was on the outskirts of the city centre, so it was super peaceful, but you were still a short tram ride away from everything. The room was a perfect size, and they even had a laundrette, which was super handy.

The design of the room has in mind practicality over all else. The use of space is extremely efficient, having a mezzanine bed to a desk under the bed, a fully equipped kitchen, plenty of storage room, a retractable clothes line in the shower... Everything you need for a stay - whether it's a few nights or more! The common area and rooftop is also very welcoming.

One of the best places i’ve stayed in Amsterdam! Location wise, hotel facilities, welcoming staff. you can even rent a bike from them and loved that they have a locker room and a shower/changing room for when you check out.

excellent location with lots of narrow walking streets in the neighbourhood. Easy access to the metro and trams, and supermarkets were within walking distance. Like everything else in Amsterdam, it was expensive, but this small room with sufficient facilities was a good compromise for us. The room was small, the bed location (loft) ingenious and comfortable.

Zoku was awesome! Heaps of lovely facilities, including a nice rooftop area with seating, food service, and stock cupboards for if you'd like to grab some extra towels/pillows etc. The apartment was very clean and a great size for a couple. Really awesome location, close to cafes/restaurants, groceries, stores and a market.

Nothing stood out as unpleasant or worth improving on.

After having been in several narrow hotels through Europe, is was very nice to have this room with so much space. We were able to buy some groceries and save some money by cooking there since they have the essential. The staff were incredible nice, the rooftop was super relaxing, we were able to do some laundry. We loved it! I hope they had it in more cities in Europe!
