Beautiful property near the river!

We got a stunning view of the river and The Siam from our rooms. Breakfast was simply gratifying and with many choices.

What sets this hotel apart from the other 10+ hotels in Bangkok I have stayed in is their staff's helpfulness and attention to detail. There were some heavy weed scents along the alley outside our rooms on our first day. The staff quickly addressed it by setting up an air purifier to cleanse the air.

If you are planning to get a good rest or just chilling out at the hotel, Mandarin Oriental is highly recommended.

Everything was simply amazing, from the staff that allowed us to do an early checkin (no charge), all the amenities…and the best fruit at breakfast (my Brazilian wife even admitted the mango tasted better than in Brazil!). We will come back!

Our room was exceptional with a gorgeous view of the river. The service was extremely attentive and helpful and the team went above and beyond at every point - the lobby, the butler on our floor, room service, The Verandah restaurant (right on the river) and the pool team all made such effort to make us feel special. We will definitely return.

There is no hiding this is one of the best (the best?) hotel in Bangkok so is priced accordingly. Can image not easy for everyone!

Excellent 5 star hotel with quality, service and charisma on the banks of the river. Amazing food beautiful rooms and friendly helpful staff. Would thoroughly recommend. I personally love the boat ride to the second part of the hotel facilities 2 restaurants, gym and tennis courts across the river, but if that is too far there are plenty of restaurants on the main entrance side of the river - great choice and great food.

Service is outstanding - quite possibly the best in the world. The rooms are excellent, extremely well appointed and designed to a high standard. A lot of thought and attention to detail has been given.

All the staff particularly those in charge of my 9th floor were very well trained and have a high degree of courtesy to valued guests.
The room is very clean and serviced very well

Porter service could have been better. The response to guest's request was rather slow.
Probably there are not enough porters during the peak time of checking out at 12 noon.

The property was conveniently located by the riverside with frequent boat shuttle to Iconsiam. Room was comfortable

I had a wonderfull small holiday at Mandarin. It was a first experience for us at this hotel group and for sure we will try the Mandarin in other cities from now on. We had a deluxe premier room and it was very spacious, very clean, large bathroom. I appreciated the treats we received when we entered the room (fruits and candies), a personalized hand-written note, the butler’s 24h service, the sound system, the beach/pool bag…
We asked for a specific higher-floor room with view towards the Icon Siam Mall and we received just that! It felt that we were trully taken care of!

The pool was a good retreat after visiting the city with a perfect blend of private and nature. The ice-cream “on the house” offered at noon was a cool bonus. We could use the facilities and pool untill afternoon when we left for the airport and it was a great rest before the flight.

We rented a car with deuver for Ayutthaya and it was great. The driver Kid always offered us cooling cold napkins with great smell when we finished visiting temples. He was a good guide and we had the most one could do in this 7 hour tour.

Breakfast is delicious and with a variety of foods. Omlette was delicious!

The boat to cross to the mall is a big plus! … and it is very nice to just take a ride.

The only little note was breakfast not included in the accommodation fee and cost of it at the hotel absolutely out of the market.

Everything is truly exceptional and up to standards since it is the Mandarin Oriental.

I liked everything.

We finished up 3 weeks of travel through Southeast Asia with a few, much needed, pampered days at the Mandarin. Everything we impeccable; the food, the drinks, the pool, the jazz club and all the staff. They went above and beyond when they gave us a very late check-out for our very late flight. It was well worth the expense.
